hi everyone glad you dropped back in,the sky got joy at gaga joy's kitchen,today we're going to be making,like the second step of our leftovers,and this is going to be,um turkey,salad that's all you can call it just,plain old turkey salad i do put mine in,a blender,and mix it up,now that's about that's about right one,more,this is so good on sandwiches crackers,i got one big piece i'm gonna put back,in here with the second,batch,i don't use this enough to hardly know,how to use it anymore,um,we had such a big turkey this year we,had so many things left over,i've got making turkey broth now this is,turkey salad and i'll share it with the,children,we're doing the turkey dress now,and you don't have to separate them i,just haven't separated because,when we uh serve them everybody there's,not everybody likes,turkey breast not everybody likes dark,meat so i just,separate them so that you could have,what you wanted,then we'll mix the white baby's dark,mate and still have,it's going to make a whole lot i knew,that,but we will use it there's another,little,piece you didn't make it let's see if it,has any more,now okay,this is actually batch three,the second one of the white mate,i can't believe we had this much left,over though and everybody ate,plenty but it was a big turkey,maybe it's bigger when you put that,okay,okay one more time,well you can see there's quite a bit of,ground turkey here next we're going to,be doing celery and i do like to,do my vegetables separately they just,taste better i think,i wonder how many people uh make,when we were growing up our favorite,part of thanksgiving was the turkey,sandwiches,the day over the day after and i don't,know,h i can remember that so fine,okay well i'm doing a little a few red,and uh,orange peppers,they have it that real sweet uh flavor,tone,and with these i'm also going to put the,onion,so,and the last thing we're going to put in,this one is the cranberries,it's just a bag of sweet dry cranberries,that just gives it that good,thanksgiving cranberry taste,now these are not near as uh fine,as the other things are which i i wanted,them,so you could see the cranberries,for my seasoning and i'm just going to,put a little bit,of um rosemary,maybe a teaspoonful that's enough,rosemary's,got a very good flavor to it a little,bit of thyme,about teaspoonful,and now i'm going to stir it up and put,some mayonnaise in it,and then i'll fix it for the kids and a,little individual,i'd say that's a good cut but it's,you'll have to sort of judge it yourself,because everybody has,a different amount of turkey,i was shocked that we had this this much,and i'll taste it see if we need salt,you know,we brought our turkeys in salt so i,don't think anybody needed to add,any at the beginning,and now i'm going to add about a good,tablespoon of mustard,almost forgot my mustard,i think i'm going to change things,it'd be nice to have a sous chef but,when you don't you,have to clean up the mess yourself,which is the worst part of cooking i,think is cleaning up the mess,i saw a little cartoon today it says,no matter how clean your kitchen is you,still have to always clean your kitchen,every day,even if you don't even use it since it's,true,my kids will be clean and i go to bed,and then i'll get up and i think gee,i think i'm gonna do that today so it's,always something going on in your,kitchen,well i i'm gonna put a little bit of,laminate too i just,don't think you'd go wrong with when you,add lemon to anything,also i have a few little pickles i,chopped up,that were left over so i'm throwing,those in why not,and then we're going to taste it and see,if it needs anything and i have a,feeling it won't but,we'll give it a try i'll do that a,little bit better,okay let's give it a try,well it definitely does not need salt,and that would be the only thing that i,would add to it,so it's seasoned just perfect,and you can see that we're gonna have,enough,turkey salad for all three of my,children,and me too for the next couple of days,well,you know it's a good way to use your,leftover turkey,now remember this is good for sandwiches,with a little bit of lettuce,crackers it's,i'll kind of use your imagination for,everything well it's been a wonderful,week,with thanksgiving and i'm glad you,dropped in,and remember the blessings and remember,our choice this week,we'll see,me,you

hey everyone it's leo and today i'm,going to show you how to turn your,leftover thanksgiving turkey trimmings,into a delicious turkey salad this,recipe,is super quick and easy to do and it's,only going to take just a few minutes of,your time,and it's going to take just a few,ingredients to get done and with that,being said i'm going to go ahead and get,started,and you're going to see just how quick,and easy this is to do,so in this bowl i've got three cups of,chopped up turkey,and this turkey actually came from my,cajun turkey recipe,and i'll go ahead and put a link in the,description for you so you can see how i,did that,and to that i'm going to add one cup,of mayonnaise and so you can,use miracle whip or whatever i use just,regular mayonnaise,and i've got one cup,of sliced red grapes,you can use whatever verbs you want to,use i just use the red ones and these,were kind of big so,i actually quarter them instead of,having them but,you can chop them up you can have them,you can do whatever you want with them,i'm just going to go ahead and add those,and i've got one tablespoon of lemon,juice,i'm just going to add that in there,and my seasoning everything should be,seasoned,i've got one teaspoon of salt,a half teaspoon of celery seeds,a half teaspoon of garlic powder a half,teaspoon,of onion powder so i'm just going to add,that in here,now my turk my turkey is smoked and if,yours,isn't and you want a smoky flavor you,can add a half teaspoon of teaspoon,of smoked paprika in it and that'll give,you some color and add that smoky flavor,to it,so we're going to go ahead and mix this,together,and really this is all that it took,the thing that took the longest well,honestly was,just cutting the turkey pieces out,and that probably took me about five,minutes,this is not a slow recipe at all this is,really quick,and this is going to be something that,will give you an extra few days of,something to eat on for lunch,instead of just throwing that carcass,way you got something extra to eat,so i'm going to go ahead and taste this,i'm going to put it on the brioche bun,and i've got that right here with some,provolone,now this is better if you actually just,let it sit in the refrigerator,for a few hours to let the seasoning,bloom,and it gets to merry with the flavors of,everything else that's in there,but i'm going to go ahead and give this,a try and it's still going to be good,just as it is,but it actually just gets better as you,let it,sit for a while,i'm just going to give this a quick,taste,and i already know it's going to be good,and it is so the flavors that pop,out right away is the flavor,of the smoked turkey,that came through first then i've got,the flavor of,the lemon that is second which is kind,of surprising but it did,and then i've got the sweetness of the,grapes and then the other flavors that,are in there,if you like it make sure you share it,hit the like button,leave a comment let me know what you,think of it and subscribe,and turn on your notifications thank you,for watching and i'll see you guys next,time

hey y'all simple easy,turkey salad looking something to do,with that leftover turkey for the,holidays i got you,i promise all right guys let's get in,here i've already taken my hands and i,just took and shredded the turkey up you,can take and chop or shred the turkey,however you like,so that you get your turkey all shredded,up,you want to take and we're going to add,our celery,so half a cup of celery,a half a cup of,red bell pepper,a half a cup,of dill pickle relish,and a little bit of juice,a half a cup of finely chopped white,onions white or yellow onions,and then guys we're gonna take and add,in two whole eggs y'all know it's all,about the egg with that turkey,okay we're gonna take and mix all this,around,in our bowl,tuna salad who,move over tony turkey is in the house,okay we're gonna take and season this,with chef carmen's i got you all-purpose,seasoning,let's give that a quick stir,and guys this is so super simple,and simply delectable okay last thing,we're gonna do we have three fourths of,a cup of mayonnaise then we're going to,take and add in three tablespoons of,yellow mustard,we don't want to just throw the,mayonnaise in there and mustard in there,we want to,take and mix that up,we're going to take,we're going to spread it all around,our turkey and all our amazing,vegetables,and we're simply going to mix this up,it's just simple and easy your friends,and your family are going to fight over,this,y'all know that turkey salad tuna salad,it ain't complete,add a little bit of crack,fresh cracked black pepper to it and,when i say a little bit don't stop chef,don't stop keep it going okay so that's,good and let's take and just,mix this black pepper,around,with that turkey and once we get it,mixed up,we're going to add one more smidgen of,that cracked black pepper,i think we good son,man,your family your friends are gonna fight,over this okay simple and easy,ain't nothing to it but to do it,i got y'all,just let me lick it off the spoon chef,okay so let's get in here i like to put,a little piece just a little piece of,lettuce on the cracker,and then i'm gonna take,and we're just gonna fill that cracker,up,man,so good it makes you swallow the whole,cracker i got y'all i promise

- Hey my friends, do y'all remember me telling you,that right after Thanksgiving I was gonna be running,some videos with ways for y'all to use,up your leftover turkey?,Well this is one of those recipes that I wanna share,with you and it's really tasty especially,if you're a curry lover.,So, the first thing we're gonna do,,and this truly is a dump and stir,,you have to cut up your onions and maybe chop your pecans,but these are dried cranberries, oh!,- You spilled your curry.,- I just lost my curry.,- I think, you just got done saying,you thought you had too much so there you go (laughs).,- Uh-huh, I thought it was a little much.,So I'm gonna start with a half a cup of mayonnaise.,Just not even gonna measure it.,And we're using good old Duke's.,(laughs) Now this is a son mayonnaise for sure.,It's got that little twang to it that we like.,All right so I need a tablespoon of lemon juice,,I'm just gonna try to pop these seeds out,,few of those seeds, and now I'm just gonna run that,through my fingers and try to catch any of the lemon seed.,And I think that's surely a tablespoon.,And then we're gonna add our curry,,I got a lemon seed in that.,And my recipe calls for two teaspoons of curry,but I think one teaspoon is gonna be just fine.,Especially since I just spilled my curry.,(laughs) So we're just gonna mix this together.,We're gonna add in our scallions,,green onions or spring onions, whatever you call 'em.,We've always called 'em spring onions down here.,All right, I'm adding my toasted pecans,that have been chopped, my dried cranberry,and my four cups of turkey.,Uh-oh, Theresa. - What are you doing?,- This is not. - I think we need,a bigger bowl.,- I think this bowls not gonna be big enough,and I told you it was but it's not.,So do we have a little bigger bowl?,This is such a nice salad too.,- This is a little, lot bigger but.,- Oh thank ya, that's all right.,I'd rather have too much and not need it then,,what do I, you know what I'm trying to say (laughs).,Yeah and need it and not have it.,So this is great.,You know, we really hadn't moved back in this house,but we got the kitchen.,I say we, Eddie, Eddie got the kitchen done,so that we can at least shoot our shows outta here.,Okay, so we don't have all of our supplies here yet.,So, if we look kinda goofy looking for stuff.,(laughs) That's why!,Mmm, this looks good.,Now you know what?,I'm gonna finish emptying out this mayonnaise,because when we refrigerate this,,that turkeys gonna drink up that little bit of mayonnaise,so you might need to add some more a little later.,But this looks so good,and this is so tasty.,Like, just mound it up on some butter lettuce,with crackers or I love to serve it with those little,miniature sour cream biscuits, they're so good.,So that's all there is to it.,Another delicious, easy way to use up,that leftover turkey.,Mmm, that curry powder.,Just, and the lemon juice, just brings that turkey,to a whole new level, Theresa.,I think y'all gonna love it and I hope y'all try it,,and you won't be disappointed.,Eat a little turkey!

hello and welcome to sonya to be honest,channel today we're going to make a,turkey salad,using leftover turkey from the,thanksgiving holiday so with that in,mind,let's get started,okay here are the ingredients you're,gonna need in order to make your turkey,salad,you're gonna of course need the turkey,itself,this is my turkey,this is what was left over from my,turkey,you're also gonna need some mail of your,choice which i'm gonna use to craft,i'm gonna use craft mayonnaise,you're gonna need some,dry season i chose to use the,um,the onion powder,a little black pepper,and some all-purpose seasoned salt or,season all,and then also i'm going to add,incorporate within that turkey salad to,make it good and it's optional if you,want to use these things let me move my,bowl over,okay what i've done is dice,a few celeries that's probably about,four or five stops from the celery i,diced it real fine,which is real easy to do i'm going to,use anywhere from a,half a cup to a cup of sweet cute salad,pick pickles,and for mine i'm going to use four ball,eggs i'm going to dice this up very fine,so you won't even know it's in there but,it's going to be in the recipe,so,let's get started,this is what you want to do you want to,take your turkey and whatever meat you,want to use dark meat,or the breast the white meat just take,trunks of your turkey and just throw it,in,your bowl,now you're going to determine how much,of this you want to make i'm going to,make a lot,for my family to have they can eat this,throughout the day,or whenever they have a taste for turkey,salad and it's just as good as chicken,salad same recipe just,only differences is turkey,and if you have a turkey that was,injected with a lot of season you're not,going to need any of the dry season at,all,if you only use butter,to injecting your turkey then you're,going to use some dry season,okay so what i'm going to do is go ahead,and cut all the turkey that i want to,cut off to put in my bowl to make my,turkey salad and i'm going to come back,and we're going to go to the next step,okay on this piece of turkey i cut off,and you can see where i injected the,turkey,doing thanksgiving with butter and it,has just a little seasoning so i can,still use it but if you have one of,those turkeys and you just have so much,season inside that turkey you really,don't want to use any more dry season,i'm going to take this,you want to do it in chunks,and i'm just going to dice it you don't,want to,have a lot of small pieces,and place that in a bowl,okay i think this is going to do me for,us cut from the turkey itself,this should be enough for my family,okay that's all my chicken,okay one thing i forgot to mention when,you're making your turkey salad you do,not want to,carve or use any of the skin in the,turkey salad you just want the meat so,if say for instance if you're going to,use a drumstick,make sure there's no skin on it,and you're going to carve into it,and you there's no skin then you break,it off into,your pan so with that being said this is,all that i have left over of my turkey,once i carved all that chicken off of,there that i wanted to use i'm gonna,wrap this up in aluminum foil and put it,in a large plastic trash bag and tie it,up real good and place this in my,freezer so i had so much turkey,that i took off of that,turkey the meat i had to get a larger,bowl so that's what i did this is the,meat that i took off i have a little bit,of the dark meat but the majority is all,weight we're going to pour it over into,a larger bowl,and as you see that there are some big,pieces,i left it that way because once you,start incorporating your mail in there,and all your other ingredients it's,going to break up some more so you don't,want it to be baby fine you want to be,able to taste that meat,okay the next thing i want to go ahead,and add is my dry season,now normally i would measure to tell you,how much to use on here,i'm going to tell you to use one,probably one teaspoon,to one tablespoon of onion powder if,that's your preference,we're only going to use a hint,which probably about 1 4 teaspoon of,black pepper,and with your all-purpose seasoned salt,probably about a half a teaspoon of that,and if you need to add more once you mix,everything together is by taste,you can add just a little bit more,season to it but always,do it in pinch do a pinch don't do a,whole lot i'm going to pull this bowl,over to the side,now this is optional what you want to,add with it because you really could,just go ahead and add the mail to it if,you want to but to do it the way we do,it down south we're going to go ahead,and add a little,that's a salad sweet cube and that is,like a half a cup to a cup with the,juice because she wanted to have a,combination of some sweetness to it,with the other dry season,i have diced up some celery that is,probably about a cup i think we're,probably going to only use half a cup of,celery,if you need to we would thank everyone for tuning in,what I am going to prepare today is it's,after Thanksgiving everyone's got turkey,left over and so what I decided to,prepare is turkey salad and also you can,make turkey sandwiches with this or also,a salad so that's what I'm going to,prepare for you at this time so I've,already devolved my turkey I got,primarily white meat now again that is,an option of yours but this is so simple,so simple as I say it I've chopped up,all my turkey meat and I prepared my,celery so what I'll do is take my celery,put some salt season to taste salt and,pepper and you're gonna see how simple,this is it's really really easy and then,male that's it take quite a bit of male,because it is Turkey,let's see now this is this is a dish,that I like to use my hands because I,really want the mayonnaise to mix well,and I really don't want to use less okay,so basically you get in there like that,mix up to your ingredients and there's,nothing wrong with getting their hands,in it a little bit as I said I like a,spun on a spoon can't really cuz with,your hands you get a feel for it you can,feel and see if maybe you need a little,more mail or you don't but as I said,this is very simple as you can see now,see if I hadn't used my hands this would,not seem like enough mail I would have,put more in there because I wouldn't,have been able to tell okay now I think,I'm gonna add a little more bail some of,the best sandwiches are the turkey right,after Thanksgiving oftentimes people,don't really know what it is they want,to or they just don't prepare anything,sometimes they throw it out and that's,wasteful I grew up in a household with,ten brothers and sisters and we couldn't,waste anything so I learned at a very,young age how to,to make a meal of whatever it is we had,handy okay so as you can see it's fairly,mixed and again this is salt pepper and,celery now I'm going to taste it because,of course you want to make sure that you,have enough seasoning and no one can,determine that for you okay let's see,there's enough no needs a little more,salt,yeah you know that's the thing about,white meat too rather it's turkey,chicken it can really absorb and to the,meat,now again everyone's not going to want,to put their hands in this and that's,fine that is totally fine I'm going to,show you the different variations that,you can do with this,okay now oftentimes we think we have to,be extremely creative to create that,meal but in reality you don't this is,something that I keep in my refrigerator,and it is two grains it's actually,romaine and iceberg lettuce now I know,there was a lot of people to further,really dark deep and it's just a,question of what you have a preference,for or what you're in the mood for at,that time I chucked this up last night,my refrigerator has been so full of,holiday that I didn't have room for,anything else so again I've got fruit,here this is pineapple,I get pineapple and I'm getting mango,I'm one of those people I buy a lot of,fruit I eat a lot of fruit,so just take some Tomatoes take some,fruit on your plate see that's pretty,loved ones who looks good because that's,really a determining factor as to hmm if,it tastes good so see now again this is,something that you can you know put some,cheese whatever you want on it you can,do it now I just prepared that again,these are things I keep in the,refrigerator when I buy my cherry,tomatoes I put it I wash them put them,in a container put them in the,refrigerator same way with my fruit I,wash it today I picked up they have,strawberries it's all a question of,what's available what's on sale now they,had these today I got two containers,because christmas is coming up and I,just plan to use strawberries in one of,my desserts so what I did was all that,day was bring them home rinse them in,the sink let them drain and then I,individually as you can see I've got,I've got three bags and what that does,is it just makes it more convenient for,me when I decide to use them as opposed,to taking them all out when I don't want,to use them all at the same time so I,always have fresh strawberries the same,way with I keep,I pineapple,I keep trying out though and mango now I,do them the exact same way if they have,it on sale now when I bought these they,have them for 99 cents,beautiful pineapples I buy maybe a,half-dozen I bring them home I prep them,and that means I peel them chorim cut,them up doesn't matter what size to cut,them up in then I bag them in freezer,bags same way with the mango ahead of,myself I bought I don't know if a dozen,because you know mangoes are very small,and they have that big core in the,middle so I peeled cut cute put them in,my freezer little freezer bag and that,way you want solve them and you can use,them in whatever you want to use them,but oftentimes people will buy fruit and,think oh my goodness I have to use it,before it goes bad no no worries and,here as I said with the salad you can,make today on kitchen dad's we're gonna do,leftover turkey sandwiches they're,really good you got to do something with,all that turkey stay tuned,hi I'm cliff and welcome to kitchen,bears and we're all about fun and food,and family we make a lot of food that's,good for your soul and food that's good,for your body,a lot of people will tell you what to do,with turkey for Thanksgiving we're gonna,talk about turkey after Thanksgiving,this is a great way to use you your,leftover turkey make a wonderful,sandwich open-faced sandwich and so you,can also make it into a like a wrap or,whatever but let's let's go ahead and,get started we've got about a pound of,turkey now this is all white meat breast,but by all means if you have dark meat,put it in it adds a lot more flavor you,can go ahead and shred this or cut it or,chop it however you like there's no,specific way but we again we want about,a pound we're gonna go ahead and chop,this up so we're gonna bring this over,here a little fact you didn't know about,kitchen dad I grew up in a town that was,near turkey Ville USA yes it's called,Cornwell's turkey farm where they have,turkey all year round look it up it's,pretty cool actually,I think it's in Marshall Michigan so,check that out we've got one pound of,Turkey we are going to add in one granny,smith apple or whatever apple have,around the house chopped we got a,quarter cup of pecans a quarter cup of,cranberries and then we have a quarter,cup of sour cream and a quarter cup of,mayo if you want to go to light,varieties that's fine we're doing some,salt to taste and some fresh ground,pepper,we just mix this up,now as you're mixing taste it some,people like this a little more dry I,like a little more moist if you need to,add more sour cream or more mail it's,totally up to you you don't want it,soupy you want it just enough to coat,everything and kind of bind it together,all right we have a couple pieces of,toast because we're gonna make this an,open-faced sandwich couple big scoops of,our turkey mixture and because we're,going open-faced we can be a little more,generous,I'm a light turkey every single way you,can do it,but sometimes for lunch I just want,something light and chill with a lot of,flavor and this fits the bill all right,we are going to top it off with a little,chives,and with this one,we are going to do a little cheddar,cheese,you really want to make this great put,it under the broiler for about 30,seconds let that cheese melt alright,I've got my lunch it's a leftover turkey,sandwich you had a couple different,varieties and list toppings you can heat,it up if you want it warm you can just,eat it this way if you want a cold great,way to use it leftover turkey give it a,shot I think you'll like it
