hey guys so today we're making a copycat,of panera's tin vegetable soup,please make sure you like share and,subscribe let's get started with the,recipe so we're gonna start out by,cooking our brown rice this is just one,cup of,rice and i rinsed it off and we're going,to add two cups of water and let that,cook for about 40 minutes,and then we're also going to cook some,quinoa so i am making one cup of quinoa,and i rinsed it off to get the starch,off and we're gonna add two cups of,water to that or just cook it according,to,the package directions and then while,that's cooking i'm gonna chop up my,vegetables because we got a lot of,vegetables to chop y'all so this is one,yellow onion,and then i am going to dice up two,carrots and please make sure you wash,all of your produce we don't want no,dirty vegetables y'all,you know fall just started so i thought,you know i guess i'll make a soup,because it's cold outside and you know,living in the midwest you just never,know what you're gonna get,so now i am dicing up,two stalks of celery i'm also using like,the,the leafy ends of the celery because it,adds really great flavor to soups so,don't throw that part away you know um,just wash that off too and chop it up,and add it to your soup,and then i am dicing up about half of a,red bell pepper,half of a yellow a bit bell pepper and,then i'm also adding some orange and so,i had all of this in my refrigerator i'm,not using all of what's on my cutting,board but i am adding about one and a,half bell peppers and so then you're,going to dice up,one poblano pepper,um,and then we're going to put that to the,side,this is a recipe i found online so i did,have to tweak it a little bit but you're,gonna roast your vegetables i just added,some olive oil and then you're gonna,season it to your taste i'm just adding,some salt and some pepper just make sure,your food is not balanced people okay,so now we're going to broil our,vegetables for about 10 minutes and make,sure you check your food especially when,you're boiling it and so this is going,to allow our vegetables to maintain that,texture but still release some of those,juices and you're going to broil this,for about 10 minutes and check it,halfway through so i'm using two cans of,fire roasted corn and then two cans of,fire roasted diced tomatoes you could,use fresh tomatoes and fresh corn but i,was trying to save some time and not,have to chop up so much stuff so in a,large pot you're gonna put four cups of,vegetable broth and then eight cups of,water and so you're not going to see me,put eight cups in initially but i did,add it in later so three tablespoons of,mirin and this is just a japanese,cooking wine and then two tablespoons of,soy sauce this is this is going to add,some great flavor to our soup and then i,am going in with about two tablespoons,of cumin and so this is where i thought,the recipe that i found was a little i,don't know because i ended up adding,more water because i felt like it was,too much seasoning for the amount of,water so this is me adding more water,and so i added a total of eight cups of,water and four cups of vegetable broth,and then i'm adding in two teaspoons of,paprika and then you are going to stir,that together,and then you're going to add four,tablespoons of tomato paste and so as i,was cooking this i also noticed that it,might have been easier to just add the,vegetables in your rice and quinoa and,then add your broth so i don't know why,the instructions on the recipes had to,do it this way but that is why i did it,this way and so now i am adding in,the roasted vegetables,and then i'm adding in my tomatoes,and my corn,next i'm adding in my cooked quinoa and,so you're not going to add in all of the,quinoa and rice that you made just one,and a half cups of what you cooked,and i know uh some of the ingredients,are going a little bit fast so i will,list the ingredients in the description,box below and so this was the point,where i was like girl you need a bigger,pot so,make sure you get a bigger big enough,pot and then i am adding in one can of,chickpeas make sure you rinse your,chickpeas and then one teaspoon of,vegetable bouillon or better than uh,bouillon base and then you're gonna,simmer your soup for an hour and at the,very end maybe about three minutes,before your soup is completely done,you are going to add in three big,handfuls of spinach you could also use,some chopped,kale i think that's what i would do,differently is use kale or at least chop,the spinach and this is the finished,product you guys i thought it tasted so,much like,panera soup and if you've ever had,panera soup it is really good i,encourage you to try both versions see,you next time

asked that i bring,my,monkey bread or whatever tim is famous,for all these kind of desserts that he,makes,and uh we get notice of them for some,reason like the night before,so they'll be like you know every night,i reset the kitchen,back to what it's supposed to look like,so i'm ready for the next day,and then sometimes i'll get up the next,morning because tim will stay up late at,night doing this stuff,and everything is just trash i mean,there's there's pots and pans and mixing,bowls all the way down the counter going,all the way down to the stove,the island's just covered with like,flour and stuff right,and i'll just be like what happened and,like i can't start my day because i have,to wash vegetables and potatoes every,day to start my food,i can't stop my day until all of that is,cleaned up and of course tim has to go,to work,so uh that happened and it happens a lot,and that's why those uh,yellow tulips are there so just kind of,a funny story i thought you might like,recently my mom was here and my sister,was also and i'm gonna do a whole video,about that but,the the gist of it was we wound up at,panera bread like,every day for lunch i made sure my mom,ate uh food here that we cooked here so,we stayed on track and,there's a whole story about what,happened to her while she was here and,how her health changed,so i really want to go into that in,another video but we wound up going to,panera bread,and i don't go to panera bed i don't,know anything they have there but i,discovered their 10 vegetable soup,their 10 vegetable soup is 60 calories,for a cup it's the lowest calorie,soup they have there and it does have,oil in it right but it is,absolutely delicious it's completely,vegan and,you know it's amazing i fell in love,with it my mom fell in love with it and,i'm like i have to make this,at a home without the oil i i just have,to make this,one of the interesting things is when,panera bread serves soup they don't make,the soups there,they're made by the corporation wherever,that is somewhere and then they're,frozen,and sent to the the stores and then the,stores just reheat them so they're not,even like homemade when you're getting,them there,uh so that kind of you know made me want,to make it at home also so,they're again their soup is already,vegan but it's just not oil free,so today i'm gonna show you how to make,panera breads 10 vegetable soup,oil free and you're absolutely going to,love this,this recipe makes a huge amount of soup,there's,plenty here to take half of it and throw,it in the freezer because it freezes,well,and the time to you know get all the,vegetables ready,and make the soup and you know let it,stew,that's about two hours maybe more so,you know i wouldn't make this recipe if,you've got an hour to kill because it's,probably not going to work,but if you're if it's sunday and you're,prepping food for the week you could,totally make this and get it going while,you're doing other stuff,and kind of baby it for the day so keep,that in mind when you're making this,but i'm telling you it is worth every,minute that you put into it i put a lot,of time into this this week,i can't wait to show you how it comes,out hi i'm valeria popov,i reverse my gestational diabetes got,off insulin,lost weight and sustained my weight loss,for two and a half years now,i got rid of my constant constipation,and my allergies,and i did it by transitioning to a,plant-based exclusively whole food,lifestyle and i want to show you how you,can achieve your goals,of optimizing your health and weight,loss too,so today it's kind of gloomy and cray,outside this morning i woke up i'm like,oh,you know so i really want to do,this um i found a recipe online that i,wanted to try for some time now so it's,a 10 vegetable,panera bread soup i've never tried i've,never,tried it in panera bread but it looked,so delicious,so i actually um cut all my vegetables,so first you pop your vegetables you cut,your vegetables and i'm gonna tell you,what's in there,so it has four cups of cherry tomatoes,uh one red bell pepper one yellow bell,pepper,four carrots one cup of frozen corn,one big red onion you can use any onion,you want,you want and twelve crushed smashed,actually twelve smash garlic gloves,all of that is going to go uh into my,oven,for 20 minutes and it's gonna it's gonna,be high broil,for 20 minutes so then we'll see how,it's gonna look like,after so i'm gonna,put it in right now right with you all,right,there's my vegetables we are,putting it inside,we go bye-bye we'll see,all right guys so the vegetables are,ready,i'm gonna show you how pretty they are,look at that,so pretty hi,so i'm gonna show you,the rest of the recipe,so you want your soup,where are you gonna cook your soup i,already have,eight cups of water in there so what i'm,gonna do right now,i am going to add my spices,so it has one tablespoon of ground,cumin and one tablespoon of,chili powder and one teas teaspoon of,ground coriander,it has pepper in there and i actually,added some table taste to it it has,three tablespoons of table tasting,so that's what i'm gonna add in and i'm,going to,mix it here we go i'm gonna add,everything,in that's your spices,go then you want to add one cup,of dry dry lentils,in so you are on,medium to low,here heat go you want to add,the recipe says one teaspoon of,um tomato paste i'm gonna add two i just,like the tomato,flavor so i'm gonna add two,tablespoons tomato paste,and this tomato paste has no salt in,there,i get it at whole foods sprouts hazard,rainbow has it,i wonder if you can buy it online,actually because it's like it's a canned,food,so i'm gonna spread it real good,you can actually add like any spices,that you like your favorite ones for a,soup too,but i'm just following a recipe and,adding just a little bit of something,something to it,all right now i'm going to go ahead and,add my vegetables to it,it just smells so good already i'm so,excited for the soup,go,if you can just pick it up and kind of,like pour it in,feel free but it's just so it's a heavy,um thing for me to,pick up so so basically everything goes,in,and then you're going to simmer it for,30 to 40 minutes,the recipe says it's a you,use vegetable broth i i don't have,vegetable broth,that is ready or precooked,so i just added water and,you can use the water too,all right,it's almost in there,go now i think i can pick it up it's,still hot,so be i'm careful,pick it up and put the rest of it in,there,there we go,all right,i'm mix it well,that looks so good too my goodness,all right so i'm going to simmer it for,30 40 minutes and then i'm going to do,our next step,all right guys so it's been,40 minutes and i'm going to add,my last step guys so it's going to be,three cups of spinach and the recipe,says two cups of spinach i don't have,spinach i have a mix,of baby spinach well i have spinach but,it's a mix of baby spinach,uh baby cane and baby chard so three,cups of it goes,in and i'm gonna mix,it and let it sit for another,three minutes i'm sorry for the noise my,kids are playing here,over there in the kitchen so,this is the last step,and it's gonna be in there for three,minutes,and i'm going to show you,actually nothing goes to waste,all right so i'm going to simmer it for,three more minutes i'm going to show you,how it looks like,all right guys it's been three minutes,and i'm going to turn,off,it's not so good guys smells delicious,it looks so pretty it's thick,it's really really good,all right my son is here,so it's actually 10,in the morning and it's my breakfast,time usually i eat raw vegetables or,salad but today it's so cold and gloomy,outside i'm very excited to have a bowl,of soup instead,so i'm gonna pour it in for myself,huh yeah i'm gonna open it for you first,in a second,my kids are starting to come home all,right,here we go something beautiful,twice one second all right i'm gonna,show you closer,how it looks like so that's your soup,it's really really good yeah,it's gonna be really good my kids are,gonna say it's gonna be yummy,like of course it's gonna be yummy all,right guys i hope you enjoyed the recipe

stat and today we are doing soup which,I'm gonna can and I am making a Panera,copycat 10 vegetable soup however I,don't think I have ten vegetable,well I want you anyway about ten,vegetable buns vegetable soup by Panera,this is my own recipe I take to choose,from different recipes and I actually,just went to the Panera Bread website,wrote down all the ingredients which,they list and I'm just trying to decide,how much to use of what so this is gonna,be vegetarian so I'm going to be using,my homemade vegetable stock I should say,may have to make some up with some,bullion but I'm hoping not to so what,I'm gonna do right now is I'm going to,show you I've bought some I've got an,onion and a half so the recipe I've got,is um no particular order of mind you 1,onion diced 4 carrots diced no I only,had a bag of already sliced carrots and,then I decided I was gonna I was gonna,chop them up you know make them diced,but I think they're gonna fall apart and,turn to mush in the canning process so I,think I'm gonna leave them home none of,them are too big to for a mouthful so in,your guts I've got two stalks of fresh,celery damn 1 cup of celery dye so I'm,also going to use some of my dr celery,and i bought one and a half onions no,one onion sorry there's two halves one,white onion in here that I use my,Vidalia chopped wizard I love this thing,I might get another one to have in the,RV just because I never remember to pack,this one so got all those so now what I,am going to do it and also a recipe that,I found called for one cup of frozen,corn kernels I am going to use up this,isn't a cup but I'm going to use up the,rest of my fresh corn kernels which I,put down here right now and I am also,going to get some blazing corn kernels,and I'll just dump those in thinking if,I want to use that by two points that I,have here but I don't think so all right,then I'm gonna throw you know what let,me bring in so you can see what the heck,I am doing there we go alright so whole,idea when my phone stopped recording so,I stopped what I was doing and when you,downloaded everything I was recorded so,far so space again going to put these,vegetables which I've missed it with my,misto and I'm gonna put a little more,just because probably absorbs a little,oil a good spray on ya alright I'm gonna,stick these in the broiler for just a,couple minutes and assess 15 to 20,minutes but I don't already cooked,I mean depression,garlic,my first time,it,for,five heaping,top retired,right now,from,I like the way that faith,they did,it,human,like human all that much but I know,I don't have any poblano peppers so I am,going to,and Chili Peppers,I'm going to put,yeah,that first night,so,as well,Aaron,now this of course is season,turn it up,of Arrowhead organic red lentils,trust,now,we going,now not time to write a timeline on the,clock,my back,all right a little bit I'll bring you,guys back,I've tasted this in,is that,Hill,and a fresh village I believe not but I,don't so,be a nice pick,it's been interesting up,maybe a little more liquid so let me go,grep we go crab my last jar of vegetable,broth and then this will be ready to,start the canning jars I did add some of,my pickling salt and some pink Himalayan,salt to this and I added pepper ground,pepper now I want to show you something,remember I just showed you the lot of it,that's what it looks like when it,rehydrates didn't look so pretty going,in did it nope didn't but look at that,okay I just remembered,well that's right try to be careful,still mastering this okay now let me get,this out of the way all right so now I,am going to stir this in now I added,another quart let me show you another,quart of my homemade vegetable broth was,the last that I had so and then I made,three cups with better than bullion,vegetable so let me add it three more,cups of broth and I think that's a,pretty good soupy consistency now okay,still smells amazing now let me get a,spoon and do a little tasty test,mmm-hmm our,subscribers and members in the facebook,group laura b,went to the trouble of making this,insta-pop version of the soup so i want,to thank laura for doing that and i've,changed it up a little bit from the way,she does it uh but i think you're really,gonna like what we've put together here,people ask me about this soup all the,time it is an amazing meal it's a,filling meal it's got all your,vegetables in it it's got your starch in,it uh and you know as far as soup goes,like when you start eating this you like,have to eat everything on your plate and,you probably want another bowl i don't,make this that often because i feel like,it's a lot of prep work i mean there's,10 vegetables in it and you know i just,i hate to clean and cut vegetables even,though i do it every day,so i make it when tim's home because he,loves that he just wants the soup so he,doesn't mind doing the work and then i'm,fine just throwing stuff in right and,throwing it instant pot so you're,absolutely gonna love this we're talking,about three minutes of instant pot cook,time and the soup is ready this is the,single most popular recipe on the,website uh plant-based.net if you didn't,know we had all of our recipes on our,website it's at plant-based dads.net and,there's a reason for it it's a very,hearty and filling soup and it's a meal,all by itself plus it's done in the,instabot like you throw the vegetables,in you cook it and it's ready to go so i,mean you know me like if i can make,something in the instant pot i'm totally,doing it this recipe makes about half,the soup that the original recipe makes,the original recipe makes a lot of soup,right you have to freeze some of it and,all that which we do this recipe only,makes an insapot full of it and i don't,ever have to freeze that it's usually,gone within probably 72 hours with me,and tim eating it and and i mean that's,just the way it works so,be mindful of that if you're making this,for a family of five or whatever you,might want to make the original version,it makes a lot more soup otherwise if,it's just you and the hubs or the wife,or whatever then uh then make the,instapot version uh and that should take,care of both of you all right i put a,lot of work into showing you just the,right way to do this i really think,you're gonna love it if you got an insta,pot get ready let's get to the food,the first thing we need to do is get the,barley cooked because the barley takes,longer to cook in the instant pot than,the vegetables we have to cook it first,i'm starting with a half a cup of pearl,barley i'm tossing the bulk pearl barley,into the strainer here and washing it to,clean it since i buy it in the bulk bin,i want to make sure it's clean before i,use it and then i'm just going to let it,sit there for a minute and i'm going to,shake it around just to kind of get the,excess water out after that i'm going to,take it and toss it right into the,instant pot and then i'm going to add my,water it's a 2 1 ratio so two parts,water one pot dry barley so i'm using,one

hi everybody today i am going to be,showing you how to make a really quick,tin vegetable soup and we're just going,to start,my with a little bit of olive oil and my,pan is already heating on the stove and,i'm just going to put a little olive oil,in there,and to this i'm going to add most of my,10 vegetables,in this bowl i've got,a whole diced yellow onion,in this bowl i've got three diced,carrots,in this bowl i've got three stalks of,celery all diced up,and in this bowl i've got one yellow,bell pepper one red bell pepper and one,poblano pepper all diced up,we'll just give these a little stir and,it's to take probably five to eight,minutes for these to get soft,at this point you might want to add a,little salt and pepper i've got a salt,and pepper blend here,and then just let them cook until,they've softened,so it's been about five minutes and my,vegetables are looking pretty soft so,now i'm gonna add in my garlic garlic,burns really really fast so you're just,gonna put the garlic in and as soon as,you smell the garlic it's probably ready,to go to the next phase once you're,smelling the garlic and it usually only,takes about 30 seconds it's probably,about to burn,so stir that garlic in and then i'm,gonna add in some tomato paste about two,tablespoons of tomato paste,and we'll give that a good stir as well,you want to cook the tomato paste for,you know three or four minutes,so that it gets kind of the raw,canned tomato flavor cooked out of it,all right once that's good and,incorporated we'll add in just a little,bit,of vegetable stock,so my box here is actually four cups and,we're going to use the whole thing but,i'm going to start,by pouring just a little bit in there to,deglaze my pan,so deglazing your pan you would pour a,little liquid in and then use your,spatula to kind of,scrape up anything that's burned to the,bottom of your,pot,anything that's sticking there,and all of that adds really great flavor,to your soup,once i've deglazed the pan,i'll go ahead and,pour the rest of my stock in,now i've got,one box,of vegetable broth and i've also got a,box of chicken broth,you could do two boxes of vegetable,broth you could do two boxes of chicken,broth,it's really just your preference i like,the flavor of the chicken broth and,that's why i put it in here but of,course it's no longer vegetarian this,way so if you want your soup to be,vegetarian then just add two boxes of,the vegetable broth,and give that a stir and we want to let,this come to a boil,and once it's starting to boil i am,going to add in a cup of lentils and a,cup of frozen corn,so our soup is starting to boil and i'm,going to add in my cup of frozen corn,and my cup of lentils,and just give them a little stir,and these lentils will cook pretty,quickly probably another 15 minutes,and then we'll add in some baby spinach,and this soup will be ready to eat,so our soup has been boiling for about,15 minutes i think our lentils are done,so i'm going to season this with a,little bit of paprika,and some thyme,and a little bit of cumin,and at this point i am also going to add,in our baby spinach,now adding in spinach is tricky it takes,up a lot of space at first but then as,it wilts down it doesn't take up much,space so just adding in a little bit at,a time,so you just add some in,stir it,add some more,until you get it all in there,and once the spinach has wilted down,the soup is done,this would be wonderful for your family,on a cold evening,or for lunch someday i hope you'll try,the recipe and i hope you enjoy,we hope you enjoyed this video as part,of our oklahoma gardening youtube,channel you can also find even more,videos on the ok gardening classics,youtube channel and join us on social,media for great gardening tips photos,and discussion

live,their best life possible,today i'm making 10 vegetable soup from,plant-based dads this is i call it a,loose version because i don't use all,the ingredients that he does but it does,have 10 vegetables and they vary,depending on what vegetables i have on,hand today i'm using 10 vegetables that,i have in my fridge plus lots of spices,what i love about plant-based dads is,their,use of spices and herbs it really makes,the soup delicious i've made this soup,for the past several weeks and we eat it,all week long for whenever we're hungry,we have a bowl of it as a snack or we,have it for dinner or a quick lunch this,is a great plant-based soup that you can,have that is loaded with fiber and,micronutrients one of the best things,you can do for your health is to have a,variety of vegetables throughout the,week and this one gives you 10 all in,one bowl so it's amazing so i started,with,one and a half onions chopped,a couple of big carrots and some celery,with the leaves included and i have it,all,sauteing in some water,and i don't use any oil in my cooking i,just add a splash of water,to get things to keep things from,sticking and keep them from burning,so these are getting a little bit soft,you can see,i i the pot is almost half full with,just carrots celery and onions i always,make this in this pot and i always fill,it all the way to the top that way i,know it's got at least you know,10 or 11 servings in there,that i can have throughout the week,so these are starting to get soft i'm,going to add in,four cloves of garlic i buy the,pre-minced stuff because hello it's easy,and i'm just going to stir that around,to get the garlic cooking then i'm going,to add some of the other vegetables that,don't take as long to cook i have a red,bell pepper a yellow bell pepper and,some cabbage,i usually add a lot more cabbage than,this,but i i want to make sure that,everything fits in the pot sometimes i,get a little crazy with the vegetables,i don't know about you guys but i like,to cook a huge amount of something that,i know i like,and then i can eat it,whenever i want whenever i'm hungry this,is looking so colorful and delicious,already,so we have the garlic in i'm gonna add a,couple of bay leaves i'm gonna add about,three,i'm gonna add two tablespoons of tomato,paste,this gives it a rich tomato flavor,two tablespoons of rice vinegar,a half a cup of quinoa,a half a cup is all you need for this,whole pot it really absorbs the liquid,and makes it like a thick stew it's,delicious,and then we're going to add our spices,i have a teaspoon of onion powder,teaspoon of garlic powder,a tablespoon of smoked paprika,the first time i made this soup i,thought wow tablespoon was a lot but it,gives it a delicious smoky flavor,it's amazing a tablespoon of basil,a tablespoon of cumin,a tablespoon of,dried rosemary,one and a half teaspoons of white pepper,or you could use black pepper too,i'm just going to stir this around to,get the tomato paste incorporated and,get it cooking,make sure that it's all mixed in,this smells amazing i'm going to add a,tablespoon of better than bouillon,this is a vegetable bouillon paste,it is this one is beef flavor but,there's no beef or any animal,ingredients in it or you could use low,sodium vegetable stock also i'm gonna,add eight cups of water,and a can of diced tomatoes,i've used crushed tomatoes before,i usually buy the big can of diced,tomatoes or crushed tomatoes but i only,have one small can so that's what i'm,using today,and my pot is pretty full but i'm gonna,add as much kale as i can,that's probably gonna be it it really,cooks down a lot so,and then i still have two more,vegetables to add,i usually use peas and corn at the end,but today i have a,half a bag of green beans i'm going to,put in there,and,about a cup of frozen corn,i also have about an eighth of a can of,coconut milk just a very little bit at,the bottom that i'm going to put into,just to use it up it's going to make it,a little bit creamy,this looks so good so the soup is pretty,much done at this point i'm just going,to let everything heat through and mix,everything up completely and i'll show,you what it looks like when it's done,my ten vegetable soup is done,it looks amazing i just put some green,onions on the top,and,smells delicious like i said this is,loosely based off the plant-based dad's,recipe they use two tablespoons of chia,seeds which i don't have any right now,and they also put chickpeas in theirs,and some other different spices i,drizzled some fresh lime juice over the,top at the end i think that that's key,for any soup to have a little bit of,citrus or vinegar at the end,and i put some green onions on the top,this soup is so hearty and delicious and,it thickens up overnight if you if you,put it in the refrigerator the quinoa,kind of
