Create Recipe Card Using WordPress Block Editor | Recipe without Plugin

hey guys welcome to another new video,my name is prani and you are watching,pro web tips youtube channel,today's in this video i am going to show,you how you can create a recipe card,using wordpress block editor,and you can see you can pretty much,do everything using your clock editor,you no need to install any third party,plugin,so let's start so uh login to your,wordpress dashboard,then create a pos store page whatever,you want okay or you can click on the,plus sign then click on pause then,you can give a title,for testing purposes we are going to,create the same block as you can see on,the screen which i have,created earlier so first you have to,give the title then,click on the plus sign then select group,selecting group then you have to select,the image,for demo purposes we have already,uploaded a image you can use whatever,image you have in your workplace website,or you can,capture a photo and upload so load the,image,then,we have to give title,or heading so we are going to select,heading 2,and here give the name,okay,we are going to give,cheese pizza then here,description,add,recipe,description now after the description,uh click on plus sign,then search draw,okay we are going to add,for raw here,first would be,preparation time,select paragraph okay if you are using,windows operating system then click on,windows key,and semicolon,key in your keyboard,so it will open a emoji box and you have,to search here time it will open the,clock emoji,you can select and then you have to type,here,preparation time,and,select all text,and to involved,okay now we are going to align this text,into the center so we have to uh,click on that and select,text align center,you have to do for all,now the next step is to add the,ingredient section,so we are going to use a heading,duplicate,here now change the from h to s3,and give the name here,ingredient,and you can use here the list whatever,ingredients you have used to,make the nail,i am using that for our demo purposes,if you are,have a recipe website then you can use,the real ingredients name here,i'm just showing how you can create,a recipe card okay,and then again we are going to,duplicate the heading,and,move down and then rename the,ingredient to direction,what kind of direction we'll need to,cook the particular name again use list,this is also demo text so you can modify,afterward okay so,almost done and now we are going to add,a social share,section,for that you have to,install the plugin,name social sharing blog,so as you can see here uh in this,section uh use the social share block,plugin,for that you can go to the,dashboard,and then plugin and you have to install,this plugin name social sharing block by,nick diego you can search here,by clicking add new then search new,plugin okay and after installing that,and activating the plugin,you have to uh click on on the plus sign,then again group,and change the background of the group,background select background and then,select whatever color you want,okay,you can use also gradient if you want,and then,add a title,so click on the plus sign then,select heading,we're going to use h3,so,like,this recipe,align center hit enter then click on,plus sign,then search,social,sharing,okay it will uh you you can say social,sharing this one you have to select this,one,and then,you have to click on again plus sign and,select,your particular social media,like i'm going to use facebook,and again you have to set uh some basic,setting,so click on social sharing here,and then you have to select build shape,and the layout justification would be,center and,share setting uh you have to toggle,show level,so it will show the full name click on,plus sign,select pinterest,again plus sign then twitter,and so on you can add other social media,icon here,so if you done then you can publish the,content,for now i am going to,save as draft and i am going to show you,the preview,as you see the earlier one,the earlier one has a,a border line,and this,doesn't,we are also going to add a border line,for that you have to add a single line,of css score,on your,particular,block,or you can use here the plus sign,then,search custom html okay and before that,you have to click this line select this,group then click on advanced,and here you can add the additional css,you can use whatever class you want so,i'm going to use a recipe card,okay that's enough,and then you have to add here some,styling css,so,add style tag first,close,the style here,and between them,you have to add,first div,recipe,card,whatever css classes you have used you,have to,use uh this css class in between this,css styling tag okay like ado dot recipe,card,then,in between parentheses okay,you have to use border,semicolon,2px,solid,gray,okay,now again save draft,and see the preview,it will show you the,borderline and you can also add the,radius if you want,so for now i'm going to leave as it is,this is your recipe card,yes and if you want to that,page,we go first we go from gutenberg,and then we go with elementor,so what thing you need is just a,search recipe called blog okay,just here is,all menus coming okay,so,first thing you need uh there's a three,design,uh this is one default new design,new design and simple design okay this,one is simple,so,the new design was that one okay,so you you uh,like you have a cooking channel you give,you want to make blog,on your cooking channel this plugin is,very helpful for you okay,this create a menu i just simply,take a picture from i download that,picture from pixel uh i hope so hello friends in this quick tutorial i'm going to show you how to add recipes to ,what phrase but before getting started this video make sure to subscribe how to administer ,so first of all hover over on plugins and click on add new,search here recipe maker,and install this wp recipe maker,activate this plugin,after that to the left hand side here you will find this new option wp recipe maker ,click evolve it now click on create recipe and now you have to select your image from here ,so i'm going to upload my featured image,and now you have to fill up this form with your recipes information,so after putting all your information here click on save,now click on close so here we can see i created a recipe now let's see how to add this recipe to ,our wordpress website to add this recipe to your website first of all you have to open your website,and then click on edit with elementor,click on this plus icon and select your structure from here,and click here and search for wp and here you'll find this option w ,prm recipe grant these and drop it here and click here and select the recipe ,and here you can see the recipe has been updated then click on update,and now i'm going to show you the final preview,so here you can see i have successfully added a recipe to my wordpress website and ,by clicking here anyone will be able to print the recipe so that's it for now if you find ,this video helpful make sure to subscribe how to one minute thanks for watching this video

hi and welcome to another out of the box,to the left side tutorial here at,websites for beginners with,jp this one is a little different,actually very different to what we,usually do because it focuses,exclusively on recipes and that would be,if you have a food blogging site,and a site where you share recipes with,others,a few things we'll quickly cover before,we look at recipe card blocks,and if you're more interested in that,you can check out the link in the,description,below just to note that there is a free,version which we will be using in this,video,and then also pro version with pro,features this is a very very new plugin,it's got a lot of people already using,it but there is still,a lot that's going to roll out in the,weeks and months and years to come,so i'm very excited to show this to you,and if you ever have to do a recipe site,or you know of someone,that needs to do one then you have to,keep that in mind,recipe card blocks before i show you why,you would want to use this,this is a gutenberg extension so it's,for gutenberg blocks which is the,wordpress,editor you can use it directly which,means you don't need to add,big page builders and other additional,plugins,if you're just running a very standard,basic,blogging foodie website so what will,this plugin for you do and for that i'm,going to open a new tab and i'm going to,search for a recipe,let's say i'm interested in learning how,to cook or i want to,bake my own bread so i go look for a,easy bread recipe,and then from here i will get these,results now,currently i'm running it in microsoft,bing which is not the best,in the world but you'll probably be,searching it in google chrome,what is important that when you start,scrolling down through the results,you're going to get this typical markup,what do i mean by markup now normally,you're just gonna get a little bit of,information there,but when you look at this number one you,see that there is an image below it then,you see this,rating you see things like total time,how long it will take you,to make this bread from the moment you,start preparing it until the moment it,is fully baked,and then over here you have things like,ingredients this is what we call schema,schema i'm never sure how to pronounce,it big word,schema is specific things that the,browser which in this case is microsoft,bing,google chrome they look for this and,then they say ah,these are related to a recipe i'm going,to display it,in my results in this way now for you,who is running your own recipe website,to get it to work like this it takes,actually a little bit of work and there,are many ways you can do it with,seo plugins and schema plugins but what,recipe card blocks plugin is going to do,for you is going to provide you with a,block where you just enter all this,information,and it's naturally there that is pretty,cool because it takes all that hard work,away from you,which means you can just bring that recipes,out there in the world,nicely marked up so that it can work in,any browser,let's then get into a site get practical,i've got a recipe site here and i'm,using the tsuki wordpress theme it comes,with this starter site that you can,install,very nice and then i have a recipe here,naturally this is a starter site so the,recipe hasn't been,built out and it's actually got a lot of,mambo jumbo here at the bottom,what you're going to do with the recipe,card blocks from wp,zoom is you're going to go into your,wordpress gutenberg editor,and you're going to drop that block in,here and then build it up,first we have to install it let's go to,the back end,plugins add new,search for recipe card,and you'll see it recipe card blocks by,wp zoom,install now,and activate,this is a How to create and display recipes in Recipe Card Blocks 4.0

hello everyone this is pavel from recipe,card blogs and today i want to show you,quickly,a new feature we have,just added in our plugin in version 4.0,so we call it,all recipe feature which is basically a,new page which will show you all recipes,created using our plugin,i have here an installation with the,fulika theme installed on it and,the demo content is also imported,and i have a few posts which include the,recipes created using our plugin,and now if i go in the dashboard you,will notice that here is a new page,called all the recipes under the recipe,cards,section,let's go and see what happens here,so even for i have already a few recipes,created using the plugin we are not,showing here if i have just updated to,the new version,so in order to show them here you need,to click on this button search recipes,let's see what happens,okay eight recipes,so i'm gonna refresh the page,and now all my recipes,were extracted from post where i have,where i have added the block,and i have them here organized nicely,if i want to add a new recipe now i have,two options i can either create a new,recipe from this page,or i can go to post and,create a new post just like before,let's see what happens if i create a new,post here,you can add here some tags,then let's say you include the recipe,card block,you can fill all the details here choose,an image,add your ingredients,now when i'm gonna click,save or publish,okay let's go with save,i'm going to this page back,you'll see that my recipe also appears,here,so,every time you will create new blog post,and you'll add in them this blog,specifically,it will also generate a new it will show,also your recipe here,now in the future you can easily make,changes to this recipe or to a different,one,either from this page,or you can go to the parent page where,the recipe was created,also there is another option to create,recipes,so,let's say you want first to create just,the recipe blog and later insert it in a,page or a post,so now you can click on this button here,add new,and it will create a recipe as you can,see i already have a recipe card block,here inserted,so all i have to do is to fill all the,details add your images,another recipe so,now when i'm creating here you can print,all these details,publish it now if i publish this recipe,it will not show anywhere on your,website it will simply be available in,this list here with all the recipes,and now you can go let's say,in another post to create a new post,here,so,i'm gonna create a new post and,i will try to insert this recipe created,here,so instead of using,this block recipe card block you will,need to use another block,you need to use the insert recipe,existing recipe block,i'm gonna click on it,and in this list you can see all recipes,created already on your blog,for example i can,choose my newly created recipe,and,publish this post as you can see this,block won't allow you to make any,changes to them,to this recipe,but you can go back to this page,and make any changes you want to it,so if i'm gonna add another ingredient,save exchanges,you will see that it will also update,the block,in all recipes where it was inserted,i also have a list here of all posts,containing a specific recipe,you can do the same thing in if you're,using elementor,let's say i'm creating a new post or,it's a page,in elementor,we have now two widgets,from uh for sp cardbox,you can either use this block to create,a new recipe or you can insert an,existing one,you can choose here a recipe,and it will appear,in case you don't see this,button here you can also find this,option to import your,all the recipes,from the settings page,look in the tools tab,and you can find this button here so you,have to click it,and it will also extract all the recipe,blocks all the recipes from,all your posts,and we'll you'll see them here,we hope that,you like this new feature and if you,have any questions feel free to reach to,our team,for assistance you can also contact us,quickly on our website,by clicking on this icon here,till next time

with the card layout option users can,choose to display the recipe cards they,create and their preferred layout,in this video i will show you how to,select a recipe card layout step by step,the delicious recipes plugin provides,two ways for selecting a recipe card,layout,the default layout for recipe card and,card layout for the recipe card blog,in this video i will show you how to,select a recipe card layout step by step,let's get started,first you have to login to your,wordpress admin dashboard,i will demonstrate default layout for,recipe card first,you have to go to delicious recipes then,go to settings,go to appearance,scroll down,from under default card layout you can,select from the list of recipe card,layouts available,so if you go to our front end,let's open our site,and let's open one of the recipes,this is the default recipe card layout,now let's go back to our dashboard,and select a different one,okay let's select layout number three,this one is a bit different now click on,save changes,let's go back to our site once again and,we will give it a refresh,and here you will see the recipe card,layout has now changed,let's go back you can select a different,layout like layout number five for,example,click on save changes,now let's go back to our site and give,it a refresh,and here you will see the layout has,been changed,let's go back to our dashboard,i will select the default layout and,click on save changes,which will also set,the recipe card to default layout,now let's go back,now i will demonstrate the card layout,for the recipe card block unlike the,default layout this method of selecting,the card layout is block specific,to add a recipe card blog and select a,card layout for this blog,you have to select the page post or the,recipe editor where you want to add a,recipe card blog,for now i want to add the recipe card,block,on a post so i will go to posts and,click on add new,let's give this post a title,now click on the add block icon here,or you can also click the add block icon,here,here you have to add in the recipe card,blog,if the recipe card block does not,display as it is displaying right now,you can search it from here by typing in,recipe card,now select the recipe card block,and once you click on the recipe card,blog it will be added to your post or,page or a recipe editor,now if you move on to your right hand,side you will find recipe card settings,these are the blog settings for your,recipe card blog that you have just,added,these settings,will help you to further configure the,recipe card block,from here you can add in the title,here you can select the heading from the,list of available headings,you can select the recipe from here,then you can select your preferred card,layout from under the default card,layout option,just click here then you can select the,layout from the list of available,layouts,which when selected will apply the,layout to the recipe card immediately,i will select layout number three and,let's click on publish,now let's view this post in the new tab,and see how it looks like in our front,end,and this is what the recipe card layout,looks like on our front end,so that was it about the recipe card,layout if you have any questions or,confusions please do let me know in the,comment section below or you can,directly reach out to our support team,i have added the link to creating,support ticket in the description box,below,thank you so much for watching this,video and i'll see you in our next video
