hey lovelies so i know as well as anyone,when it comes to planning dinner we,usually focus on the main event and tend,to leave our side dishes as sort of an,afterthought today i want to change all,that with some inspired ideas i think,you guys are going to love that are,super simple to pull off even on a busy,weeknight starting with these absolutely,unbelievable,crispy roasted potatoes,these are so crispy guys that they,actually arrival french fries but they,happen to be a whole lot healthier which,of course i love now the secret to,making these totally amazing is actually,boiling our potatoes first so i'm,getting started by chopping up some,potatoes i'm using potatoes as,you can see i am leaving my skins on why,they have a ton of fiber and it makes,your life easier which you know i am all,about i'm going to cut my potatoes into,about half inch to three quarter inch,cubes and then get them in some water,and get them boiling on the stove once,they've reached a boil you want to go,ahead and let them cook for between six,and eight minutes the idea here is not,for them to be fully cooked but we want,those starches to sort of come out to,the exterior,that's what's going to give us the,amazing crispy edges once our potatoes,are ready we are going to drain them in,a colander and then return them to the,very same pot the heat in that pot is,going to help some of that excess,moisture evaporate which is going to,help our potatoes get crispier more,quickly in the oven at this point i want,to toss my potatoes with a few,tablespoons of melted butter you could,use olive oil in this recipe but i think,melted butter definitely makes these the,most delicious,i'm going to season these simply with a,little garlic powder some salt and some,pepper and that's really it guys we're,just going to transfer these potatoes to,a parchment-lined baking sheet,then we'll get these into the oven at,425 degrees fahrenheit for between 30,and 40 minutes about halfway through the,cooking process it's important to pull,them out and give them a quick toss to,prevent them from sticking then you can,get them back into the oven you'll know,they're ready when they are super golden,and crispy on the exterior but still,soft and tender on the inside,what is not to love about these i serve,them up with just a sprinkle of freshly,chopped parsley and they'll pretty much,be the perfect accompaniment to any main,dish you can think of,i would recommend this awesome garlic,brown sugar chicken if you have not,tried this recipe guys it is on my must,try list,next lovely is because of course we,could all use more greens in our life i,want to show you these awesome garlic,butter green beans that come together,super super fast but have so much,awesome flavor thanks to some amazing,smashed garlic cloves,once you've got your garlic smashed you,can get to work on cooking up your green,beans now this recipe all starts in a,skillet i'm using cast iron but of,course stainless steel nonstick both,would totally work here as well and to,that i am going to add some butter,once that butter is melted i am going to,get my garlic cloves into the skillet,now as you can see i have left them,whole but just given them a quick smash,so that butter can infuse with that,amazing garlicky flavor as soon as my,garlic is nice and fragrant after about,30 seconds to a minute i'm gonna go,ahead and add a good splash of chicken,broth to this the chicken broth really,is the secret to success in this recipe,as soon as that chicken broth starts to,simmer we're going to get our green,beans into the pan as you can see i'm,using french green beans here they're a,little bit thinner but if you only have,regular green beans those will,definitely work in this recipe as well,we're just going to pop a lid on this,and let it steam away for about five,minutes or so just until those green,beans start to turn bright bright green,then you can remove the lid and let them,cook for another say minute or two,you'll see the liquid will evaporate and,this is a good time to just season them,up then blade with some salt some pepper,and a little sprinkle of freshly grated,parmesan cheese if you feel so inclined,if you're looking for a really yummy,main dish to serve these green beans,with i highly recommend this awesome,parmesan chicken and ray skillet,so so good my next side dish has a,really beautiful asian influence we're,going to be stir frying some green,vegetables and then tossing them in an,incredible sauce this sauce actually all,starts with some fish sauce now don't,panic if you've never tried fish sauce,before or you haven't been a fan to this,point trust me i am all about making,people believers fish sauce has the most,incredible savory flavor and it doesn't,actually taste like fish especially once,it's mixed with all of these ingredients,now if you can't get past the fish sauce,go ahead and swap in some soy sauce in,this recipe what is going on YouTube family today's,video is about an often overlooked,aspect of meal prep and those are the,sides you know we are always so focused,on cooking that protein just right that,the size are actually in Africa and if,you think about it if you overcook that,Pro team and you have struggle chicken,having a good side can actually save,that entire meal so today I'm going to,share with you all four of my favorite,meal prep sides that serve various,purposes in my diet I think you're going,to like today's video because the,recipes are super easy and the best,thing is you can customize them to fit,your diet now if you are ready for some,meal prep fun and then let's get started,first we have a Mexican quinoa that is,also vegan friendly the main complaint,that I hear about quinoa is that it's,bland and pretty dry but this quinoa is,loaded with moisture because it's cooked,in broth and then we're going to boost,the flavor content by adding in some,black beans some cumin bell peppers,we're going to saute some garlic as well,trust me is banging after mile of oil to,a pot then add garlic and red onion,gonna saute for 1 minute then add in the,quinoa sear the quinoa for about 1,minute then add veggie stock and cumin,pop the top and cook for about 20,minutes or until the quinoa is fluffy,add black beans bell pepper cilantro and,sea salt and pepper stir it up then cook,for an additional 5 to 10 minutes,portion it out for meal prep and enjoy,next roasted barbecue cauliflower I,gotta admit I was not always a fan of,cauliflower because I found the flavor,was a bit too harsh but then I learned,how to cook cauliflower and then I began,to think differently about it now one of,my favorite ways to enjoy cauliflower is,to roast it and then mix it up with the,special seasoning or salt I mean come on,who don't like barbecue sauce spread,cauliflower florets on a baking sheet,and spray it with olive oil season with,a little garlic powder onion cumin,smoked paprika and pepper give the,florets a good mix in the seasoning and,roast them for 15 minutes at 410 degrees,place the roasted florets in a large,mixing bowl then mix together arrowroot,starch and barbecue sauce pour the sauce,over the florets then shake the bowl to,mix place them back on the baking sheet,and roast for another 5 to 10 minutes,next bacon jalapeno garlic green beans,yes it's a mouthful because it is full,of flavor,this recipe is a shout-out to all my,friends who are following a low-carb,diet or a keto friendly diet it's packed,with tons of flavor and the green beans,are fibrous enough to leave you feeling,satisfied with just a small amount slice,open a jalapeno remove the seeds and,then chop it into pieces set a nonstick,skillet on medium-high heat and add the,bacon cook the bacon until it's nice and,crispy reduce the heat then add garlic,and jalapeno cook for about 1 minute but,careful not to let the garlic burn then,add green beans and cook for another 5,minutes or until the green beans are,soft yet still have some crunch season,with a little sea salt pepper and lemon,stir it up,and finally toss in the cooked bacon,lastly we got maple candy plantain,without a doubt this is my favorite,post-workout treat of all times because,the carbs and it help to replenish the,muscle glycogen stores from training now,this recipe uses sugar-free maple syrup,but if you can handle it and if you want,to you can use real maple syrup or honey,just don't go overboard with it but if,you want to just cut out the maple syrup,or honey altogether,you can do that without compromising the,flavor because the cinnamon and the,coconut oil in this recipe pair,beautifully together to satisfy that,sweet tooth after a workout chop the,stems off a plantain peel it and cut it,into small pieces add coconut oil to a,nonstick skillet then toss in the,plantain pieces cover and cook for about,6 to 7 minutes on low medium heat,lift the plantains then let them cook,for another 3 minutes add sugar-free,maple syrup if desired then cinnamon mix,the pieces using a spatula to ensure,they are all evenly coated,thank you all for watching today's video,I hope that you enjoyed it,now if you're like me you love food like,love food a lot those are just four of,my favorite meal prep size but I know,there are tons more ideas and recipes,out there so I invite you to just share,one of those ideas below in the comment,section and if you like and appreciate,these types of videos I also invite you,to do a quick jab on that like button,below until next time guys I appreciate,y'all watching keep it healthy but never,ever boys mmm

hello lovelies if you are looking to,step up your side dish game this fall,then have I got the recipe for you it's,these incredible garlic butter potatoes,and they are seriously a flavor bomb of,goodness these potatoes are life,altering they are so good so crispy so,loaded with flavor and honestly worth,every bit of effort now one of the,secrets to making these potatoes,incredible is actually parboiling them,which is just going to help them get a,little bit tender it's also going to,help some of the starch come to the,surface which is how we're going to get,them Ultra Ultra crispy now for this,recipe I'm using about three pounds of,baby red potatoes that I've just cut in,half you could use pretty much any kind,of potatoes you want and you can leave,the skins on which is so convenient I'm,going to let those cook for between five,and seven minutes we just want to help,get the cooking process started so that,they don't have to spend as much time in,the oven now while my potatoes are,boiling away I'm going to be mixing up a,whole lot of deliciousness to bake them,with so in a bowl I'm going to be,combining some freshly grated Parmesan,cheese,now in a recipe like this I always,recommend freshly grated Parmesan cheese,because I find the flavor it makes a,huge difference I also have some olive,oil here,I've got some garlic and when I say some,I mean quite a lot of garlic this is,about four cloves and I've really finely,minced it because you don't want big,chunks of garlic you want it to be well,distributed and then finally I'm also,going to add some Italian seasoning to,this and then I'm just going to mix that,all together until it's well combined,I mean I actually don't think it's,possible for these to be bad,okay so my potatoes are part cooked I'm,gonna get them into a bowl they're still,nice and hot they're a little bit soft,and I just I'm gonna go ahead and add,this incredible parm garlic mixture all,over the top you wouldn't know it at,this point but this mixture is going to,create an incredible crispy flavorful,coating for these potatoes that is going,to make them some of the best that,you've ever had,now I want to make sure that these are,really evenly coated so they're well,tossed and all that goodness and I also,at this point want to make sure that I'm,salting these liberally and adding some,pepper as well,I like salting these once before I cook,them and once after so you get a really,nice seasoning happening,oh my gosh you can smell the,heavenliness already,yes heavenliness is a thing okay because,I made it a thing it's a thing,now at this point I'm ready to transfer,my potatoes to my baking sheet it's,important of course that your baking,sheet be well greased because you don't,want these sticking right,you know if you find them too hot to,handle it's fine just use some tongs,instead I'm going to arrange them cut,side down on my baking sheet by,arranging them cut side down we're going,to ensure that that cut side ends up,with the most crispy golden texture,imaginable and trust me that is a good,thing because that's how the best flavor,develops,all right my potatoes are arranged on my,baking sheet which means it's time to,get these Beauties into the oven at 400,degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 to 30,minutes after 15 minutes I'm gonna give,them a flip and let them continue,cooking until they are beautiful and,golden and ready to be devoured,okay so we have reached the promised,land and let me tell you guys it is,delicious,there is so much goodness Happening Here,everything is so crispy and yummy I'm,just gonna transfer these to a bowl and,then we're going to finish these off,with a final step that is going to blow,your mind,so this is going to sound a little rich,and decadent but honestly guys trust me,on this it is totally worth doing I'm,going to add a big drizzle of melted,butter onto these potatoes and also toss,them with a little bit of freshly,chopped parsley and honestly the,combination of that butter that garlic,that parmesan and that parsley is enough,to blow your taste buds away this is one,recipe you've got to give a try for,yourselves these potatoes are super,crisp super tender so flavorful and,absolutely delicious I hope you guys,love this yumminess as much as I do and,that you will give it a try for,yourselves if you do be sure to tweet me,Instagram me or Facebook me a photo,because you know how much I love seeing,your Kitchen Creations remember this,recipe like all of my recipes is,featured on my website the,domesticgeek.com you can find it there,or Linked In the description box below,and finally if you haven't already be,sure to subscribe because there is lots,more deliciousness where this came from

hey guys it's Danny and today I am,sharing three super simple clean and,delicious Thanksgiving veggie side,dishes I'm showing you how to make my a,roasted garlic and olive oil mashed,potatoes my orange scented green beans,with cranberries and almonds and then,finally a beautiful kale and pomegranate,salad now I don't know about you guys,but I get really excited around the,holidays because I am very grateful for,anything that reminds me to slow down,enjoy a great meal and spend some,quality time with my friends and my,families so give me a big thumbs up if,you can relate now for our first recipe,I'm making the roasted garlic and olive,oil mashed potatoes this side dish is,great if you have anybody at the table,who does not do dairy or butter because,we are gonna get them to be really rich,and creamy sands those ingredients so,the first thing that I'm gonna do is,roast the garlic I have my oven,preheating at 400 degrees and I have a,rimmed baking sheet lined with some,parchment paper ready to go now if,you're gonna take the time to roast,garlic I say you might as well do two or,three so you have it on hand because you,can use this roasted garlic for salad,dressings to spread on toast I mean you,can really put it on anything it's just,so delicious so here's what I like to do,I trim off the top of the garlic you,want to trim just enough off the bulb,that you can see almost all of the tops,of the garlic cloves and then remove any,of the excess thin papery skin on the,outside of the garlic then go ahead and,line them up on the baking tray drizzle,it with a little extra virgin olive oil,a little salt a little pepper and then I,put them cut side down,into the oven for about 15-20 minutes,until they're starting to become tender,flip them over and pop them back in for,another 10 minutes or so you don't want,to over do them so just check them,really we're just looking for them to,become soft and buttery and what you'll,see is once they cool down they,literally just slip right out of the,skins and unlike raw garlic it is so,sweet and creamy and,hinder so I'll squish all of those out,of the skins and set them aside now for,my potatoes I have two pounds of Yukon,Gold potatoes that I gave a good scrub,down and I'm just gonna cut them into,nice chunky bite-size pizzas fYI you,could also do this with russet potatoes,get them into a pot and then cover them,with just enough water that the water,comes about an inch above the potatoes,bring everything to a boil and once,you've got your boil I just let it go,for about five or ten minutes until the,potatoes or fork-tender drain those out,pop them back into the warm pot and add,in all of those sweet and creamy garlic,cloves that we have set aside along with,1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of extra,virgin olive oil a good hearty pinch of,kosher sea salt and some black pepper,then using a potato masher I'm just,gonna mash these potatoes down until I,have a nice hearty creamy mashed,potatoes they're kind of like a rustic,mash these potatoes are so full of,flavor and I love this hearty rustic,texture because it's very homemade and,you will see that nobody is gonna miss,the dairy or the butter mmm I just,really tastes like buttery these are not,your mama's mashed potatoes delish next,up I've got my orange scented green,beans with cranberries and almonds so,I've got my oven preheating at 425,degrees and I have a pound of green,beans here that I've rinsed off I've,dried they must be dry when you're,roasting or else they're gonna end up,steaming and now we're just gonna trim,them now whenever you trim your green,beans you just want to hold it up and,look at each end one side has the point,at the bottom and the other side is,where it used to be attached to the,plant and oftentimes you will even see,the stem still attached like this so I,just like to use a paring knife and just,cut those right off once I've got them,all ready to go I'm gonna transfer them,onto a rimmed baking sheet that I have,lined with some parchment paper and I'm,gonna drizzle on 2 teaspoons of olive,oil along with a little bit of salt a,little bit of black pepper and then just,1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder,toss that all together and then spread,them out make sure they have some room,you don't want them laying on top of,each other again if they are you're not,gonna get that deep roasted flavor so,pop those in the oven for 10 minutes and,then I pull them out and I add onto the,baking sheet a quarter cup of dried,cranberries I like to pop these in the,oven because they just go back in for,five minutes and it actually helps to,plump up and soften the cranberries so,back can we go for five minutes and then,when you pull them out what you're gonna,see is that the green beans have gotten,nice and tender but still have a little,bite to them and a lightly golden brown,color to that so from here I'm gonna,transfer them onto a serving dish top,them with some fresh grated orange zest,and then sprinkle some sliced toasted,almonds over th

First, grate a ginger :),Cut an eggplant into stripes,This dish can also be a main dish when you eat rice :),This is one of my favorite ways to eat eggplant ♡,Like this size!,Leave them in water for a while,Let’s make sauce,This sauce tastes amazing ★,Wipe off the moisture of the eggplant with a kitchen towel,Fry with sesame oil :),Fry until the eggplant gets soft like this,Turn the heat off, then absorb the extra oil with a kitchen towel,Add the sauce and turn the heat on again,When the moisture is gone, add green onion and sesame seeds :),Done ★,It’s easy but really satisfying!,Wash spinach well,Then wipe off the moisture,Let’s make sauce :),Put some vegetable oil, tear mushrooms and put them in the pan ,I’m going to use shiitake mushrooms but any mushrooms work :),Fry the mushrooms ★,When mushrooms are cooked, add the spinach :),Fry until the volume of the spinach becomes small,Then add the sauce :),Cook until the moisture is gone...,like this :),Personally I like adding some cheese but it’s up to you!,Done ★,Must try in the autumn!,Add 200ml water in a pot and start heating,1 tbsp of sugar,1 tbsp of soy sauce,Cut a sweet potato in small size :),I’m into sweet potatos recently ♡,It’s delicious but it has a low glycemic index (GI) ♡,Cut in bite size ,Simmer the sweet potatoes on medium heat for about 10 minutes,When the soup is almost gone like this, lower the heat,then add butter ♡,Cook until butter melts ,Put sesame seeds to finish!,I ate too much while cooking because it’s really delicious...,This can be a snack as well ♡,Clack 3 eggs,Add 2 tsp Chinese chicken powder,The container was too small ( ̄▽ ̄),Cook the bean sprouts with sesame oil for 4-5 minutes,Then add the egg mixture,Mix all together until the egg is cooked,Put salt & pepper,Add spring onion,Done :),It goes well with rice ♡,Cut a potato into 4-6 pieces,Awww ( ̄▽ ̄),Please be careful...,Boil until they get soft ,Let’s cut asparagus,Peel the hard skin,Let them cool down,I prefer peeling after boiling the potatos because it’s easier for me, but you can peel before boiling :) ,It’s so satisfying when you can peel easily...,Fry them with vegetable oil until the surfaces get golden brown ,then add the asparagus,and cook for a few minutes,Add butter ♡,1 tsp dashi powder,1/2 tsp minced garlic,Let the butter melt and mix all together,Salt & pepper to finish!,This can be a staple dish ★,Cut cherry tomatoes into half,I’m going to make sesame sauce :),Put canned mackerel in the pan,and the tomatoes,and start heating!,Cook until the tomatoes get soft,Stop heating, then absorb the oil,Add the sauce and mix well :),Done :),It’s sweet and sour!,Slice half a red onion and leave it in water for a while,Boil one broccoli for 2-3 minutes,Boil 2 eggs for 8 minutes,Let’s make dressing!,Mix all together and done ★,I also like how it looks ♡,Let’s searve ♡,This reminds me of MUJI cafe in Japan :) ,You can choose like 3-4 side dishes and they come with rice and miso soup...♡ ,Let’s try ♡,Great...
