hey friends welcome to meals maria today,we are making a potluck for pennies each,of these servings for each of the,recipes is less than a dollar these are,very inexpensive potluck ideas i know,sometimes you get invited you're like,what am i gonna make is this gonna cost,me a million dollars you might see,something on pinterest and say i want to,make that,and by the time you get done in the,store you've spent,20 30 50,and we don't want that so i have i have,scoured the internet for you and found,some amazing potluck recipes that are,sure to wow any crowd and they're very,inexpensive and and sometimes they're,actually going to be even more helpful,because they're things that hopefully,you have some of this stuff on hand and,it's going to save you a ton of money so,i'm excited to share them with you i'm,excited to give you some ideas for your,next potluck so that you can save money,and not spend a lot and still wow your,friends for this first recipe we're,gonna make a chili cornbread salad and,yes it is a cornbread salad that is so,delicious so different and everybody is,going to love it,i did not have any jiffy corn muffin mix,on hand but if you do you can just,follow the instructions on the package,and go ahead and make that up or you can,just buy cornbread at store if you don't,have a lot of time but jiffy cornbread,mix is so cheap coming in at 47 cents at,my local walmart so that would be my,choice however if you don't have any,it's even cheaper to use the ingredients,that you have on hand i'm using a,two-thirds a cup of all-purpose flour,with a half a cup of yellow cornmeal,three tablespoons of granulated sugar,one tablespoon of baking powder,half a teaspoon of salt and two,tablespoons of vegetable oil,oh yes and i forgot that the recipe for,the chili cornbread salad actually has,you add an eighth a teaspoon of ground,cumin an eighth,teaspoon of dried oregano and a pinch of,sage you do just want to add that in and,mix everything around before adding in,your oil and for your wet ingredients go,ahead and mix in one egg and one third a,cup of milk and then you just want to,mix everything together really well and,we're just gonna cook this like a,regular jiffy loaf you can do it in like,an eight by eight you could do it like a,pie pan you could do it in a cake pan,i'm using a nine by nine and mine ended,up being i guess kind of too big uh so i,couldn't like spread over the whole,thing but it doesn't matter because,we're going to make a salad of this so,we're going to crumble it up after so i,just wanted to make sure that everything,was cooked well and i really didn't care,about the shape of my cornbread,you want to cook this at 400 degrees for,about 15 to 20 minutes definitely check,it at that 15 minute mark until,everything is cooked very well and then,you can set that aside and let it cool,down,as with most salads you're going to want,to cut up some vegetables so you're,going to start with one green pepper and,it says it calls for like a cup of,chopped green pepper and that worked out,perfectly for me to cut up one green,pepper which is like 88 cents at walmart,then i'm using a couple stalks of green,onions and slicing those really well and,that's about you know half a package,maybe less at 44 cents so pretty cheap,and then,some diced tomatoes i'm using three,tomatoes and dicing those up and kind of,taking like the slimier,insides out of those to make sure that,the firmer parts are gonna stay for my,salad now i'm getting this whole thing,set up the night before i'm gonna serve,the cornbread salad i actually served it,for fourth of july so i'm gonna make my,sauce for it i want one cup of sour,cream and one cup of mayonnaise and it,worked out perfect because i just had,the container of sour cream and i was,going to travel with it and i just put a,cup of mayonnaise right in there and,then you also want to mix in one,envelope of ranch salad dressing mix so,we're actually using that ranch mix,again just like in the other video where,i was using ranch mix to make different,things i will make sure to put that,video in the description box down below,if you want to check out more ranch,recipes,now while there are quite a few,ingredients in this salad i find that a,lot of them i already have on hand which,is something i love about it i always,try and keep those jiffy you know,cornbread mixes on hand or in my case i,didn't actually have any this time which,was crazy and i was able to make my own,super easy with things that i already,had on hand same thing always have sour,cream always have mayonnaise and i have,that big jar of the ranch mix so i'm,pretty much ready to go so that's a,bunch of things that are already kind of,crossed off my list that i don't even,have to worry about buying just to make,this recipe,we're also going to use some canned,beans some canned corn again things that,i have in my closet as is so there,really isn't like a ton of things to buy,in total this recipe is going to make 15,servings it is

ever go to a potluck or place a,gathering of friends and family and,you're forced to what is it bring a dish,and hopefully everybody likes it and you,make a bean dip but nobody eats it i,hurts,buddha life such a beautiful thing,don't you dare you guys are drawing this,content don't forget to like this,content here also come about mine you,part of the notification I'm here to,help you guys make the best the most,easiest finger food potluck is a couple,potluck or a friend and family gathering,where they force you to bring something,the easiest recipe ever guys this will,ring at this will wait at wing win the,crowd over I promise you your dish will,be eaten first,I promise okay your dish will be eating,first just follow these recipes fall,these just follow this recipe alright,step by step don't blame spareribs cut,in half so if you guys can't get your,spirits cut in half just chop it down,okay so it's pretty much your spareribs,cut in half so you know that piece you,know sometimes I Costco you get like a,rib piece but then in the back of it you,get this weird piece that you guys don't,even know what to do with it cut it up,guys cut it up with the two nice and,beautiful chunks like this and all we're,gonna do guys chop it down so I'm just,gonna follow the bone and chop it down,okay nice simple easy or just ask your,butcher to half a spare lid or pretty,much here in Canada Costco they have it,nice and chopped up already,guys these shears guys legit best shears,ever so if you guys want one all that,will sing is I'll leave his link or his,Instagram at the bottom just holla at,him I write legit,that's three everything guys,and we're just gonna chop it down follow,the boat chop it down follow the bone,chop it down well not really following,the bone chop it down into tree yeah oh,yeah we're making honey garlic groups,legit you bring this to any party while,Thanksgiving in America is coming so,make this for you Thanksgiving or,Christmas coming up nice nice by side,pieces like I said I guarantee you I did,I promised you your dish or beats,anybody else's dish at the potluck no I,never been to a potluck until my friend,invited me to a potluck and I had to,figure out what it was or I had to,Google what it was and I came in with,this guy's I came blaring with this,something simple and easy right,everybody gets a piece nobody's left out,let's go tablespoon and a half of season,developer I got half a tablespoon ginger,powder 1/2 tbsp white pepper 1/2 tbsp,black pepper I see we've got some garlic,powder let's go,tables are not to use with 1/2,tablespoon get into guys mix this in,very well let it cool all that in get,this you don't want it to eighty here,and you just want a nice coating on it,lastly two cups don't believe this stuff,in you go back hey listen listen very,well nothing cool guys we're gonna let,this sit for about eight five minutes,best honey garlic sauce you guys ever,made 2 tbsp of butter going in we got,two tablespoon of garlic here once you,get it going 1 teaspoon of white pepper,1 teaspoon black pepper we got half a,tablespoon of ginger powder,tablespoon of garlic powder,okay once it smells nice,we got a table spoon half a cup of honey,half a cup of soy sauce now say they're,a couple soy sauce I got two tablespoon,of course hearts at 3 tablespoon of,water here going head and we'll just now,let this pick it up pick it up nicely,just thickens up nice like this it's,ready take it off the heat here it is,guys canola oil heating Adam max here I,got a lot of work here so max heat for,about 20 minutes after 20 minutes we're,gonna drop these little kiddies into the,pool guys I don't care if you can swim I,just have to get it cooking time for,this make sure your oil is hot guys,before you dump this in it won't work if,you all ain't hot click - hey there thank you so much for joining,me in today's video I'm going to be,sharing with you my go-to dish for,potlucks and Friends gatherings etc this,dish is frugal cheap delicious healthy,and is good for introverts if you want,to find out why that stick around,today's video is another collab with the,incredible Kate from Kate Kayden and the,amazing Mary from Penny's not perfection,I will mission is,to love the life I have while building a,life of my dreams I can't wait to find,out what dishes Kate and Mary will be,sharing because they've been talking,about this meatball thing and I don't,know I'm never that so I'm excited to,find out how they make it and what the,deal is on that and get the scoop from,both of them because I have a feeling,that they both make delicious things so,I'm excited to watch them as well and I,hope that you've either watched them or,will watch them as soon as you're done,with this video,okay so here's the deal I love getting,together with friends I feel like I roll,few but deep in terms of my friendships,and I have a few like a handful of,really good friends that are kind of,scattered far and wide but we try to get,together at least a couple of times a,year and when we do get together it's,definitely a frugal and budget-friendly,option to have a potluck where we all,get together at someone's house or in a,church basement or fellowship hall and,everyone brings a dish and we sort of,share the cost like that so I've,developed what I like to call my,introverts option so and it's definitely,an option so the dish that I have,developed is like I mentioned frugal,delicious can be really healthy and is,readily available able to be made with,ingredients that are readily available,from Aldi in the Dollar Tree and it's,good for introverts and here's why the,dish is an appetizer tray or charcuterie,board or true cheese plate or something,like,however you want to want to call it but,it's an appetizer and why I love doing,this is because as an introvert I love,spending time with people but it can be,really draining I don't know if you can,relate so usually when it's like a big,gathering what I'll try to do is give,myself the option to like bring,something,leave it say hello to everyone and then,kind of like make a peaceful exit so,I've done this a couple times and,there's sometimes two when I do want to,stay and I'll usually bring something a,little more hearty and like fulfil you,know like full filling but in this,option I gives you the option just kind,of bring something leave it and go which,I actually had to do at my last,gathering we had a friendsgiving in,November at a church in in a time year,me and I see these people a couple of,times a year and I wish I could have,stayed longer but I had somewhere else I,needed to go so I just I brought this I,set it down I said hello and then I had,to leave but I felt good about doing,that because I thought that it was a,really like hearty option that people as,soon as they were coming in could like,have something to eat right away and I,appreciate that as a guest and I hope,that they appreciated that even though I,couldn't be there in person so the last,tray I made for this friends gathering I,kind of planned ahead because I knew,there was a chance that I might not be,able to stay for the whole thing so I,was able to make trips to the Dollar,Tree and Aldi in advance to kind of plan,out what I was going to do the entire,process cost me less than ten dollars so,I thought that was pretty good so with a,little bit of planning you can certainly,recreate this for around ten dollars or,less here are some pictures of appetizer,trays made using ingredients from Aldi,and the Dollar Tree full disclosure here,these are not my pictures mine came out,similar but not as artistic so my first,stop was at the Dollar Tree I find this,is as always my go-to stop if I'm,looking to stay within budget and create,something fabulous so I usually start,out with one of their plastic trays the,fabulous part about this is that they,look nice they're cute they're it's a,dollar you can't go wrong they have tons,of different sizes and you can just pile,it high with lots of different,ingredients,and then you can just leave it and go,and this is my favorite part this one is,for deviled eggs and so that's an option,or an idea for you if you're looking for,things to make and bring they even have,like portable punch bowls here are some,rectangular trays here are this looks,like it could hold a salad bowl so,that's another really great option as,well,OOP that one is a basketball you don't,want to serve that for potlucks I also,love using foil bakeware from the Dollar,Tree and I try to keep some on hand that,way you can just make your dish bring it,and not need to worry about collecting,your di

hi guys welcome to honestly Morgan it's,now officially summer and with summer,comes a lot of pot Luck's and I don't,know about you but I never know what to,bring to a potluck today I have three,potluck dishes that you can bring with,you to any potluck to impress they're,super easy super cheap and really tasty,of course so if you like this video,subscribe comment like share it with,your grandma you know the drill,so this first dish is my dad he took a,ball,you'll need some bocconcini it's like,fresh mozzarella fresh basil and some,cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes first,Chapa one of these balls of bucatini so,for each of the skewers you'll use about,half of all the polka cheese so just,like this of one of these tomatoes,cutting it up horizontally then you're,going to take your skewer and push it,through the tomato then tear off a,little bit of basil pop that with a,little Cheney and that's it there's,never too much cheese so these would be,really good on their own but we think,that it would be great if you had some,olive oil and some balsamic vinegar on,the side super easy,cheese makes everything better,so the second thing we're going to make,is a s'more step you'll need an oven for,this so make sure you have one wherever,you're going all you really need is some,milk chocolate chips marshmallows with,some graham crackers to dip it in pour,in your milk chocolate chips bread them,evenly along the bottom this is actually,like the easiest recipe ever because,then all the tough to do is you just put,in your marshmallows on top now you're,going to take this and put it in the,oven at 425 about 810 minutes should do,keep a really close eye on it because,they are melrose then they can burn,Saurus moist it took about 10 minutes in,the oven and now it's out and it's been,cooling for about another 10 so you,won't burn yourself on it but I'm just,gonna go ahead and dip it in really good,you should avoid keeping your chocolate,chips in the fridge beforehand they,haven't fully melted but I'm sure if,they were actually room temperature they,would have been fine I highly recommend,this it's amazing for the third dish,we're going to make some guacamole this,one's really really easy all you need is,one avocado two loaves to make it super,zesty some garlic powders some pepper,and salt,so at this point I like to give it a bit,of a taste test because every avocado,and every lime is a bit different it's,actually a perfect,we actually have Miss Piggy's,definitely not good for you look really,excited about it,that is good those are three potluck,dishes I hope you enjoyed them if you,did comment like subscribe let us know,in the comments what you want to see me,do next I will see you in the next video,bye,I love balsamic to like no that's not,pretty

today i'll be showing you how to make a,delicious fully loaded mashed potato,casserole,it's the most comforting side dish that,everyone loves,all you really need are some pantry,staples sour cream,bacon cheese and green onions to make,this,welcome back my name is daniel here to,show you simplified recipes that are,easy to follow using common ingredients,if you're new to this channel remember,to subscribe and the notification bell,for more delicious recipes that your,friends and family will love,now let's get started on this fully,loaded mashed potato casserole,start by washing and peeling about two,pounds of whatever kind of potato you,like for your mashed potatoes,give them a rough chop into large chunks,of a somewhat even size,this does not have to be precise since,we will be mashing them,all up later,to a large pot of water that is being,heated up to a boil,add in your potatoes slowly being,careful not to splash yourself,let it come to a rolling boil by,partially covering it with a lid,in the meantime thinly slice up two or,more stalks of green onions,chives is a classic and baked potato so,you could use that instead too,then chop up some crispy cooked bacon,into bits i'm only using four slices,today but feel free to use more if you,wish,shred some cheddar cheese i'm using,about three quarters of a cup here but,you could use more,your potatoes should have come to a boil,by now give them a quick stir and,remember to salt the water a little,and let it continue to cook,add three tablespoons of butter to,another saucepan over medium heat,and crush in three to four cloves of,garlic i used a garlic press for,convenience today,but you can certainly do this by hand as,well,give that all a quick stir and pour in a,quarter cup of milk or cream,mixing it in and heating it through,your potatoes should have cooked for,about 10 minutes or so and before tender,by now,drain them,and preheat your oven to 375 degrees,fahrenheit,i'm using a potato ricer today to mash,the potatoes but you can use a fork or,potato masher to do this as well,i prefer using a ricer because it breaks,the potatoes into tiny flaky pieces,instead of a gluey mess but use whatever,you have on hand to do this,your garlic milk and butter should be,well heated by now,so pour that into the potatoes and give,it a good stir to combine,then add half a cup of sour cream,most of the bacon green onions,and cheese reserving some for garnishing,the top,stir everything together until just,combined don't over mix,remember to season it with some salt and,pepper to taste,i also added dehydrated onion here which,is entirely optional,this is also your opportunity to adjust,the consistency of the mashed potatoes,by adding in more milk if you like it,runnier,pour the mashed potatoes into a,casserole dish and spread it out into,the corners,making sure the top is nice and even,it's now ready to bake at 375 degrees,fahrenheit,for 20 to 25 minutes,take it out,and sprinkle over the remaining bacon,cheese,and green onions,back into the oven it goes and yes i was,also making chicken wings to go along,with it which i have a terrific,recipe for that you should go check out,bake it for another 10 minutes or so,until the cheese on top is melted and,bubbly,letting it cool slightly before serving,and there you have it my fully loaded,mashed potato casserole that will,totally impress your family and friends,this dish is so simple to make and can,be adapted to easily feed a crowd making,it perfect for potlucks and parties,trust me it is so good enjoy,all right guys it is time for the taste,test fully loaded,mashed potato casserole here we go we,get some bacon and cheese and green,onions,oh i'm really excited here goes the,first bite wow it is still,steaming hot hope i don't burn myself,here we go oh,oh man,so satisfying,this is really good,mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon,and green onions,and and butter and it just works so well,together,remember to add in that garlic because,that just amps up the flavors to the,next level,but you got to have that bacon in there,and the green onions and everything just,tastes,so good and it's rich and it's creamy,it's delicious,if you want it even more rich swap out,some of the milk add in some cream you,can even,increase the amount of cream if you want,it a little bit runnier in consistency,add more cheese add more bacon add more,green onions add all,of that stuff you can double all of that,but i want to keep this a little bit,healthier,but this is absolutely fantastic,i really hope you guys give this a try,because it is that,good it's such an easy side to make put,together tonight i'm having chicken,wings with it,but you can serve it alongside pretty,much,anything else it works great as a fall,thanksgiving side and you can also,double this recipe or triple it,for a large amount of people so this is,perfect for potlucks,or if you're feeding a crowd make this,fully loaded mashed potato - Hey, everyone.,It's Erin from wellplated.com,and today you are going to find out the answer,to that age-old question,,what do I bring to the potluck?,It is this easy, and I mean easy,,black bean corn salad with lime dressing.,Everyone goes crazy over this corn salad.,I never leave a party with any left over.,I always have multiple requests for the recipe.,This salad comes together in 10 minutes,,sometimes even less.,It tastes better the longer it sits,,which makes it the perfect potluck recipe,to bring to a party,,and you can serve it at room temperature.,Be sure to watch for the very end,for the nontraditional way,that I top this black bean and corn salad off.,Let's get started.,(upbeat music),Here is the secret frozen corn.,Don't tell anybody,,but oh, my goodness,,that makes this lightning fast to prepare.,You do not even need,to let the corn kernels thaw all the way first.,Just toss them right in.,I'm using a 10-ounce bag, which is about two cups.,Of course, if it is the height of summer,,sweet fresh summer corn is a thing of beauty.,So you can certainly cut it off the cob,and use it instead.,Next up, a can of black beans.,They make this salad really hearty and filling.,And then cherry tomatoes.,We're cutting these in half.,I know the internet is full of different hacks,to supposedly cut these quickly,,but honestly, I just use a lightly serrated knife,and get with it.,Woo!,You're welcome to practice in your own kitchen,while you chop.,Now, fresh herbs.,You can use whatever you have in your garden.,I'm using mint, which tends to go absolutely crazy in mine.,I know mint might sound like it's a bit of an odd pairing,with black beans and corn,,but trust me.,It makes the salad taste bright, ah,,and so refreshing.,I also like to add cilantro.,I know you have those people out there,that think that cilantro is not delicious.,Um, I'm not one of them,,but you can certainly use basil or all mint.,Now, I'm not even gonna fuss,with making the dressing in a separate bowl,because remember when I said I am in a hurry?,Instead, I am just adding the dressing ingredients,right to it.,That is lime juice.,You gotta get yourself one of these citrus presses.,It makes a massive difference.,Salt and pepper, of course,,and now feta cheese.,This salad is such a crowd-pleaser,,and let's be honest, everybody loves cheese.,If for some reason you need a recipe,for someone that can't have dairy,,you can certainly leave it out.,Drizzle in your olive oil,and then give this a big toss.,All right, are you ready for this?,We are done with this salad.,Just kidding, we need a little more cheese on top.,Crowd goes wild for it,,and let's be honest, I love feta and I'm the cook,,so I'm gonna go for it.,Now you pop it into the refrigerator,until you are ready to serve.,I should have set a stopwatch,because I'm pretty sure I just broke the world record,for the world's fastest potluck salad recipe.,This black bean corn salad just could not be quicker,and I cannot wait to dive in.,All right, got myself a big old serving here,,making sure I'm getting plenty of that feta cheese.,It's the good stuff.,Here we go.,Mm, get out.,This is so good.,It tastes like summer on a plate.,It is exactly what I wanna eat with my grilled burger.,Hey, check out that burger recipe up there.,At every potluck that I go to,,this will taste great for hours at room temperature.,It is a clear winner.,Speaking of, be sure to check out my Asian noodle salad.,That is another potluck recipe that's super easy,and people go crazy over it.
