Quick And Delicious Keto Dinner Rolls (Nut Free And Gluten Free No Yeast)

welcome back once again all of my low,carb friends and for those of you who,are here for the first time welcome for,today's recipe i have a super easy keto,dinner roll recipe for you this dinner,roll recipe is perfect they are nice and,crusty on the outside super soft moist,yummy on the inside and the best thing,once you learn to make this basic dough,you can flavor these dinner rolls any,way you want you can put some savory,herbs seasonings spices whatever you can,make them however you want and flavor,them however you choose to flavor them,they are super easy and super versatile,and if you cooking,preheat your oven to 400 degrees,line an 8 inch round cake pan with,parchment paper and set it aside,in a large mixing bowl combine 120 grams,or around 1 cup of coconut flour,24 grams or around 1 tablespoon of the,granulated sweetener of your choice i'm,using granulated monk fruit sweetener,you can use whatever granulated,sweetener you want,this is optional i like a hint of a,sweet taste in my dinner rolls,if you don't want any type of a sweet,taste then you can just leave this out,that's up to you,13 grams or about 1 tablespoon of baking,powder,a fourth teaspoon of salt,and one teaspoon of xanthan gum,sift or whisk these all together until,they're fully combined and there are no,lumps in the dry ingredients,now if you don't have xanthan gum or,don't want to use xanthan gum then you,will most likely need to add at least,one more egg when we add our eggs,the xanthan gum,is to help give extra binding to the,ingredients without having an extra eggy,texture but as i said if you don't want,to use it then you will most likely need,to add one more egg when we add our wet,ingredients,add three large room temperature eggs,make sure they are room temperature so,they stir in more smoothly if you're not,using the xanthan gum then you may need,to use four eggs,stir the eggs into the dry ingredients,until all the dry ingredients have been,moistened by the eggs,add 3 4 cup of butter that's been melted,and cooled make sure it is cooled you do,not want to put hot butter into your,ingredients it will cook your eggs stir,the butter in until everything is fully,combined and smooth,add 3 4 cup of warm milk of your choice,make sure it is just slightly warm it,doesn't have to be hot or anything you,just want it warmer than room,temperature it helps keep the dough nice,and soft,stir the milk in until everything is,fully combined,once the ingredients are all combined,together,give the dough an extra,20 to 30 second good stir,this helps the coconut flour to start,absorbing the moisture and also helps,the xanthan gum in the eggs to start,binding the ingredients together really,well,scrape down the sides of the bowl and,push the dough to the center of the bowl,form the dough into a large smooth ball,then massage the ball for about one,minute this is going to help absorb any,extra moisture your dough should be very,soft and very moist but it should not be,sticky if it's sticking to your hands a,lot then you need to add just a tiny bit,more coconut flour,after you've massaged the dough for a,minute and it's absorbed a little bit of,the moisture it still will be very soft,and you still should have a decent,amount of moisture in it form it back,into a ball and place it back into your,mixing bowl,then let it sit at room temperature for,about five minutes this is again going,to help it absorb a little bit more of,that moisture and help the ingredients,to settle in really well so that they,bind together well so that you have soft,sturdy dinner rolls,after five minutes massage the dough a,little bit in your hands again this is,just testing the texture out you want to,make sure,that your dough is holding together well,then take a small portion of the dough,and just roll it around in your hands to,test out the texture,if the dough is coming together really,smooth and very easily into a ball and,when you roll it around in your hands,it's stained together really well then,you know you have the right texture,if it's not coming together well and it,seems crumbly then you need to add just,a tiny bit of water to it until your,dough is holding together well,after you're sure that y

hey there it's steve from serious keto,and in this video i am going to be,reviewing three different keto breads,over the last couple of years i have,done a number of reviews on keto breads,the first one was the aldi bread lovin,fresh i think it was called zero net,carb or something like that or net zero,i don't remember i'll link to that video,up here that was the first one,they now have a new,bread it's still loving fresh,and it's just called keto friendly,they've changed up the recipe a little,bit and i'll talk about that in a moment,i'm also going to review two breads by,sola,sola also changed their recipe within,the last year or so they used to contain,soybean oil and now they contain olive,pumice oil so we're going to give these,a try to be consistent with my other,bread reviews here's how i'm going to,review them first off i'm gonna try one,slice just plain how does it taste as,plain,bread the second slice i'm gonna toast,and add butter now i realize that butter,and the fat that's in it can have a,glucose blunting effect but i want to,make sure that this review is consistent,with the others and that's how i tested,in those other videos plus,who's going to eat just plain dry toast,outside of ellwood blues for each of,these breads i will be testing my,glucose using the abbott freestyle libre,continuous glucose monitor and i will be,analyzing it using the software from,levels health and i will link to that,that program levels health down in the,description below it's not cheap just so,you know also for each glucose test i,will be doing it in a fasted state and i,will have checked my blood glucose,before i started to make sure that it's,stable and somewhere in the 90s or lower,the first bread that i'm going to try,out is the new keto bread from aldi,when i did that other bread about two,years ago at that time keto bread was,very very difficult to find people were,buying these loaves from aldi and,scalping them out on ebay for like,thirty dollars a loaf anyhow they have a,new formula,and the macros have changed a bit so,let's go through this we have 35,calories it was 45 calories per slice in,the old bread one gram of total fat it,was two 10 grams of total carbohydrates,all ten of those are fiber for a net,zero it used to be nine and nine,and four grams of protein it used to be,five grams of protein,the ingredients have changed a bit,there's a few different ingredients as,well as the order has changed a little,bit the ingredients are water modified,wheat starch wheat protein isolate wheat,bran yeast oat fiber inulin soybean oil,vinegar salt monoglycerides wheat gluten,and preservatives,so the big disappointment to me in all,of this is the soybean oil,i generally try and steer clear of those,highly processed seed oils and of them,all for me soybean oil is the worst,just personally i tend to get a lot of,inflammation i feel it my knees i feel,it in my knuckles so if i have that same,experience with this bread i will,definitely let you know,also if you are clean keto or have an,issue with wheat or with gluten this,bread is going to be a no-go,using the levels software i am going to,snap a picture of this bread,to kick off the two-hour timer,i'm gonna pop one slice in the toaster,while i try out the other one,all right texture,behaves very much like bread it's got,sort of a gluteny tear to it,okay,texture,kind of dry,i mean it it absorbed any sort of saliva,that was in my mouth it was like a,sponge just,saliva went right away,i'm gonna grab a chunk here more from,the center,the texture compresses kind of like,wonder bread,um,it's,but it's so dry and the taste is sort of,off to me,it does not have a strong,that startled me,so the taste is,off to me it it it does not have a,strong bread type of a taste to it,in fact it's almost a little bit bitter,all right so i'm going to butter up this,slice here,now what i've noticed in some keto,breads is,once they get the butter on it they,almost seem to start to dissolve a,little bit,not the case with this this is this is,holding up to the butter,definitely better toasted and buttered,but still,the flavor is just not quite right,additionally after toasting it,i feel like it's lost some of that,gluteny tear,structurally it kind of reminds me of,like some of the keto products that are,made out of protein powder you know like,the the quest chips for example,as you're chewing it it just it doesn't,quite feel right and it's got that,slightly powdery,aspect to it,so i'm going to finish both this,buttered toast and the rest of that,unbuttered untoasted slice and then i'll,be back in two hours to see what impact,if any there was on my glucose,so it's only been about 20 minutes since,i had that bread but i have a really,gurgly stomach going on right now let me,see if we can pick any of that noise up,with the microphone,hopefully you heard that,that's what's been going on for the last,10 minutes,it's been a little bit over two hours,and i can tell you that i am feeling,some inflamma

hello keto family mattress here and,today,i'm gonna review these new keto buns,from aldi,with only two grams of net carbs per,serving,i'm gonna review these but first don't,forget to hit that subscribe button,followed by the bell so you'll be,notified every time i release,a new video and also please feel free to,share this out with,anybody you feel would benefit from,watching this video,anybody you want you have my permission,sharing is caring guys and we're all in,this,together so keto buns this is incredible,this is a,game changer right here it looks like,they had two styles they have one that's,hamburger buns,and one that looks like biscuits but in,any case let's look at the macros,the macros are identical for each one 60,calories for each bun,2 grams of fat 21 grams of total carbs,minus the dietary fiber of 19 grams,we'll give you 2 grams of net carbs,and 8 grams of protein let's take a look,at the ingredients,water modified wheat starch wheat gluten,oat fiber,soy bean oil i will say there aren't,that many ingredients in these buns but,i would love for them to replace the,soybean oil,with maybe olive oil or avocado oil i,wouldn't mind paying the extra dollar,so i tasted both buns the biscuits,were great with the bacon egg and cheese,absolutely delicious,incredible and the hamburger buns were,incredible for burgers,and feel free to top them with lettuce,tomato mayo,pickles onions whatever you desire just,put it on the burger,and they're amazing now these are a game,changer especially going into,barbecue season aldi we need some hot,dog buns for barbecue season,but these will definitely suffice now of,course i wouldn't recommend these for a,clean,ketogenic lifestyle these will more fit,a,dirty ketogenic lifestyle but no i,wouldn't recommend having this on a,daily basis,but if it works for you that's all that,matters,these actually taste better than the,aldi's keto bread,this is as close to bread as you're,gonna get without the added carbs,of course i do have some keto recipes,for keto bread i'll link those above,here,but for convenience these are a home run,all right keto family thank you so much,for joining me,i hope you all be safe and be well,and don't forget to like share comment,and subscribe and feel free to check out,any of the three videos,i'll link to at the end of this video,if you enjoyed this one i am positive,you're gonna enjoy those enjoy the rest,of your night,metroid signing out,you

hi mindful fit fam that's Lara here with,another Quito review we find out what's,the real deal or just a bad meal so,today I am going to review a product,that I found in Aldi if you follow any,of the Facebook groups are the Aldi,groups you know this is a rare find,it is Logan's fresh zero net carb bread,and according to the package it is,indeed supposed to be zero net carbs so,it has 9 total carbs and 9 grams of,fiber so you know that I am very,skeptical about these like low carb,marketed products I've had some bad,experiences in the past with the low,carb tortillas so but I love bread so,I'm going to try it well let me say I'm,going to review it with the blood ketone,monitor so I've had it before it's quite,good I have some toast here but I'm,going to enjoy later yeah so the bride's,a little dry it's not that lovely fluffy,breads straight fresh from the oven,but it's great to have a sandwich or if,you're like me,avocado toast I have been like why all,these people get to have avocado toast,but I don't so yes I have had an avocado,toast on it and it's excellent so before,I get started I want you to know that I,tested my blood ketones and they were at,4.3 and my glucose was at 69 so my gki,is actually 0.8 which is the highest,level of therapeutic ketosis so I'm,gonna enjoy these two pieces of bread,I'm going to come back in an hour and,retest my blood and we'll see if it,kicks me out of ketosis or not and of,course your mileage may vary but,experimentation time alright I will be,back with you in about an hour,thanks hi friends I'm back it's been an,hour I greatly enjoyed the bread,I had it with butter and that's all I've,eaten in the last hours so I'm gonna,test my blood so it'll be kind of a,surprise for us all so let's see,so first we're doing glucose my glucose,was very low cuz I was fasted so it's,going up to 114 I don't think that's,quite unexpected and then I am doing,this all wrong,all righty here goes nothing,squeeze some more blood out geez,my ketones are still at 3.4 so I'm,actually recording with my phone so I,can't do the calculation I'll do that in,one second and let you know but I were I,was not kicked out of ketosis so the,bread is good to go let's just be,absolutely sure about what the gki,number is so give me two seconds I'll be,right back thank you,and we're back so I did the the gki,analysis and I met 1.86,which is a moderate level of ketosis so,it did you know reduce my level of,ketosis but that's not unexpected again,I was in a very fasted State I believe I,was past 18 hours when I consumed the,bread so it makes perfect sense that my,glucose would spike my ketones stayed,pretty level so a moderate level of,ketosis is good for me your mileage may,vary but from what I've tested on myself,I do believe it be acceptable to indulge,in two pieces of bread I'm not gonna,continue to eat more bread throughout,the day to see how many how many slices,of bread I can have I think in this,protocol in this way of eating we have,to exercise balance and I think to two,slices for sandwich or toast is,perfectly acceptable and again,moderation so I hope you find that,helpful again I got this an at alby's I,bought like five loaves I've bought all,the loads that they had and I froze them,so and that's what I have as a frozen,load today so it's a it's a great way to,stay on protocol and still enjoy the,things that you love like avocado toast,so thank you have a wonderful rest of,your day and good luck on your journey,thank you

aldi has white bread,oh he has white bread,hello and welcome back to putt nuts,kitchen it's good to be back,now what we're going to talk about today,is low carb and keto bread from aldi,and i've done a video on aldi bread,before i'll,put a card for it right up there,but that was this aldi bread the whole,wheat and also they have a multi-grain,or at least they used to have a,multi-grain they don't carry it anymore,for some reason haven't for a while,please bring it back it was better than,this,but what we're going to talk about today,is this one because this seems like a,new thing i only found it about a month,or so ago it's aldi white bread yeah you,heard me right white bread,now let's read off what it says here on,the back the ingredients first of all,it says water modified wheat starch,wheat protein isolate which you all know,i use,in a lot of recipes,inulin yeast oat fiber soybean oil,vinegar salt monoglycerides,wheat gluten preservatives sorbic acid,and calcium propionate,so there you go there's the ingredients,and as far as the nutritional facts of,course one slice 28 grams 35 calories,10 grams total carbohydrates 10 grams,dietary fiber now we know there has to,be at least a small amount,of carbohydrates in this because,wheat gluten,has,one carb per tablespoon now there's,probably not a tablespoon in a slice,there's probably not half a tablespoon,in the slice but there has to be at,least some minute amount of carbs in,here from what i understand,less than half a carb per slice and they,can put zero on the label which i think,is wrong when it gets down to less than,one they should put point carbs you know,0.1.2,that i digress anyway we're going to get,into this see how it tastes and see what,it does to my blood sugar so here we go,price comparison you go to walmart,you've seen my reviews for other breads,keto culture bread,or wheat bread i've reviewed many of the,different kinds of breads and,this keto bread here,price point wise,a little over four bucks it was 419.,most the other ones start around five so,and they go up to six,over six almost seven that's where,you're at on price point okay so now,let's do our little keto mojo before,test,first let's do the painful part and get,us a little drop of blood,that didn't hurt so bad,stick,in there squeeze out a little bit of,blood,there you go,116,116. i hope you see that clearly,so that,is our before test 116.,now we're going to taste test it we're,going to wait a half an hour and we're,going to do another blood test,as you can probably see i'll get up nice,and close,nice texture,soft,i can squish it down and stay squished,just like real white bread,it's not like the old aldi bread none of,the aldi breads like the old aldi bread,it was real hard and thick and firm this,is a lot softer so is the other the,others changed since i reviewed it the,first time,okay,the crust was a little bit rubbery,but not real bad not much worse than,regular,white bread regular like wonder bread,wonder bread's got a really dry crust i,always thought,okay so the white part,tastes like white bread it's soft,it squishes the same way,it tastes very close to real white bread,except for one thing you know when you,bite into regular white bread when you,get that instant a little bit of,sweetness when you first bite down,it doesn't have that,and i don't see how anybody could,replicate that with a low carb no carb,bread simply because what that is,is your saliva instantly turning the,carbs and the bread into sugar right,there on your tongue,there's no way to replicate that,other than that that little tinge of,sweetness,this,this is wonder bread almost i mean it's,really good stuff,so let's check back in a couple of,minutes,actually about 25 minutes,and we'll see what it does to my blood,sugar but first let me finish eating it,but first,let me just compare this to a few other,white breads that i've had the,keto culture that you find at walmart,it's about six bucks a loaf,half again as much as this this was a,little over four,this is very similar but this is,actually a little softer,and has a little better flavor it does,have a tinge of sweetness to it even,though you don't see any sweetener,in the mix,um oral wheat,i didn't care much for oral week it was,hard it was dry kind of had a bitter,aftertaste i wasn't a big fan of it,but,for me,if you're gonna eat white bread,most of the time it's just something to,keep your hands dry while you eat a ham,sandwich right,if i want really good bread i'm going to,get a good,sprouted whole grain multi grain and put,butter on it and i'm just going to,take a meal off and eat that which i,haven't done,since i started but,that to me is is bread that you eat just,for the faith just for the sake of,eating bread or rye bread don't forget,rye bread and if you really miss rye,bread on keto,because nobody makes a keto rye,commercially that i'm aware of,but you can make rye bread low carb,that is almost exactly like real rye,bread,there'll be a card right up the

and there's market Okita Fitness today,we're making soda breads but when I make,there was small individual roles rather,than as one big one to share so stay,tuned so I'm making a new dish for,dinner tonight so I'm gonna try it out,before I sort of do it live I'm gonna,make some soda bread to go with it it's,a it's a tomato based spicy vegetarian,dish that we're making and we're gonna,serve it with some soda bread because,we're not afraid you know and we really,liked it so it will be sort of rather,than just being that that are now using,it as a lunch it's actually part of the,the dish that we're having for tonight,30 grams of melted butter,so yes mugs the new ones have just been,posted Louie helped me down to the post,office with several boxes and 15 mils,cider vinegar well since I need to make,the soda bread again but with Stilton,yeah don't you what if I'd like I would,yeah apple cider vinegar from home,bargains bnm bnm that's the one I think,he's available also in home bargains as,well to rest for 5-10 minutes I didn't,read that bit hundred grams of cheese,can't cut you some cheese and not me,some shooter no it's not this is some,variety there as well doc will sit on 25,grams of almonds ground almonds no,fatties would be all of this pack,half a teaspoon of my carbs right so the,only thing that's got to go in there now,is the cheese the cheese really make it,look very great but it's actually a,beautiful color coming on the oven yeah,obviously these don't pop out at all so,I'm doing reasonably close to each other,actually done obviously five miniature,versions which will be about six grams,of carbs each just we get with this that,was quick,yeah and I knew it would be a quick one,mini soda breads rather than biggie soda,breads I'm gonna pop him in the oven as,a loaf it takes 30 35 minutes oh these,things are pretty gonna take no more,than 20 minutes,right thank you very much for watching,don't forget you can make that as a,whole loaf as well as a tear and share,time loaf if you want more recipes come,and find us we're on Facebook key to,fitness club I'll hit subscribe and,catch MOBOTIX videos

okay guys i have a really exciting video,today i'm,so thrilled that i can do this,i have an aldi's loaf of their zero,net carb bread i'm so excited i don't,have an aldi near me,um this was actually sent to me by,rhonda said thank you so much,i can't believe i have this i'm just,ecstatic,um but i am going to taste this,untoasted then toasted and i will test,my,ketones after i have the bread but first,i need to make sure i am in ketosis,oops whoops,okay so i'm gonna test my ketones again,and see where they're at,it's been a few hours since my last test,okay i'm okay with that okay so i'm,going to try,the first slice i've never had aldi's,bread before,i um have seen it all over youtube,and it looks so good a lot of people,really really love it i've heard some,people don't like it,uh but i want to try it this is what it,looks like,it does have like a very hard-ish,top here but then this is more like,bread so i'll give it a try i see what,people are talking about some people,don't like the crust here,this is a little bit kind of like a,plastic kind of texture,it actually reminds me a lot of um,the low carb companies bread,i think it's low carb company or thin,slim,that bread um i think the inside,is a lot softer than thin slim,but yeah that crust is not ideal i'm,gonna go ahead and toast this so the,actual bread part,is really soft i could see it making a,really really good sandwich,i probably would cut off the top uh,crust part just because that was kind of,hard and plasticky,and i don't imagine that would be very,good um,in a sandwich but we'll see how it,toasts so this is how it came out,toasted,i think it actually toasted up really,nicely,so i'm gonna go ahead and try that top,part again,oh wow,so obviously this is dry i just didn't,want to put anything on it because i,don't want the,results to be skewed at all,but even with it being dry it still is a,little bit,soft on the inside but it's crunchy on,the outside it reminds me a lot of,chompies in that way,um this outside here is a bit more dry,than here um but it's not that plastic,kind of texture that it was before,it gets to be a little bit hard,swallowing it but that's just because,dry,it doesn't have a whole lot of flavor,has kind of like an,oat kind of just like a hint of oat,flavor,this one was wheat a really nice chew to,it,it doesn't get as dry as like the fran's,bread,gets but it still toasts up really well,so you do get that crunch this would,make really good toast i wish i could,put butter on this but i,like i said i don't want to skew the,results so,i went ahead and made two pieces so i'm,gonna eat this one,and then i'm gonna eat this one i just,wanna make sure we get kind of like a,clear idea,of how this affects ketones so,i'm going to go ahead and eat this and,then i'll put a,timer on for one hour it has been an,hour since i finished,the aldi's i forget i don't even know,what the brand's called i think it's,like love and fresh,but since i finished those two pieces of,bread so my ketones,an hour ago were at point eight,oh wow okay so that did drop,quite a bit drop by point,six point six drop by point six,i'm also gonna go weigh myself um i'm,not gonna show you,but i'll i'll tell you i wanna see if,i'm retaining water white so hold on,okay so i am not retaining water so,that's good,my weight's actually gone down since i,had the bread,um and i've only,urinated the water that i've been,drinking all day so but,um okay so i think what i'm gonna do is,i'm going to test,again tomorrow and see,what my ketones are like then because,if i test again in an hour we're not,going to really know how much it's going,to drop because i'm only at 0.2,so i will test again tomorrow and try,and do a one hour and a two hour,test to kind of get a clear image of how,much this affects,ketones,okay so i haven't eaten anything today,it's 8 30,i've been up for probably an hour and a,half i'm gonna test my ketones and see,where they're at right now,um i'll also test my glucose too because,i know some of you,are uh concerned about that okay so this,is ketones first,0.6 so i'm gonna go with it,okay so this is glucose 81,okay,so i'm going to i already did the,review of uh the taste and stuff so i'm,just gonna toast up,a couple pieces of bread i think it was,easier to eat when it was toasted so,i'll have a couple pieces of bread and,then test my ketones and glucose in an,hour,okay it has been one hour since,i uh ate the aldi bread,so my ketones were at point 0.6 so i'm,going to test that first,0.6 last so,okay so i think yesterday it lowered my,ketones by,0.7 so it probably lowered my ketones by,0.7 as well,but i was at a 0.6 so let me,test my glucose now so my glucose last,was at 81.,okay so it didn't raise my glucose by,very much but,and this is why i kind of stopped,testing my glucose because,i don't feel like my glucose raises a,whole lot or drops very low,and to me uh what i think makes me feel,the best,is to be in ketosis and um,that clearly is kicking me out of,ketosis so,

okay morning everybody,headed out to,give my pasture raised pigs a little bit,of grain,helps fatten them up a little bit but,they got all kinds of stuff they get to,eat out of the dirt too,what i'm doing today is i'm double,testing that aldi white bread because to,be honest with you i had a hard time,believing those results,so i just took my blood test,a few minutes ago,i'll show you the results here,here,and then,i ate a slice of the bread again,so,in a few minutes,a few seconds for you,i'm going to,show you the results,stay tuned,in the meantime,let's take a look here my little friends,i call them bacon and sausage i thought,that was a good name for them,out here at my farm,i got another channel called spring,hauler farms if you'd like to see that,more about the farm it's up here,so,we're gonna feed these little guys now,okay,here we go let's get a little shot of,food they can keep from dumping it all,over the place,always fighting and spilling their food,and they don't have as much,i don't know why they do it,this is where they live for now,not real big that's because they're not,real big,but they're soon gonna have this whole,big area all them tall weeds you see,over there you're gonna have all that to,dig up and munch on,probably about another week when they're,big enough i know they can handle it,don't fight,and you won't spill it all over and,you'll have more to eat,so was it the bread or was it my body we,know the answer now don't we so i guess,it's a good thing that we did this test,and now we know,we really can't trust that aldi bread,i'm sad to say it,because it does taste really good,thank you very much for watching,hi this is putna if you enjoyed that,click right over here for more low carb,recipes and reviews and if you love the,channel please click right here to,subscribe it really helps,and thank you very much for watching,please be assured we here at putt that's,kitchen appreciate every minute you,spend with us
