hi everyone welcome back,to uh Mark's chat Tracy here and if you, haven't already don't forget to hit the,Subscribe button and the notification,Bell and you might notice I sound worse, than I have been,um,strangely enough,I think I'm I am getting a bit worse,um,I'm still taking the antibiotics and, every day that went by I noticed I was, getting better and better but,um I seem to have taken a backward step, and uh last night I went to bed and I I,couldn't sleep because I couldn't,couldn't stop coughing and so um I had,to get up again so I watched some CSI,I've been watching the new, series of CSI Las Vegas,I know there were many csis but the only, one that I really watched was Vegas, because I used to watch it with my,oldest son Paul,um for a long time when he lived at home,Paul was my TV buddy and we always watch, things like 24 and CSI,bones you know to 4400 we always kind of,had a series on the go,and um anyway, there's the new new season,um was advertised and then I realized, that it wasn't necessarily, the new season there was one last year,or the previous season so I watched that, first and of course um brass well it's,weird actually is he brass or is he,brass,I always wanted to know I really wanna, know sorry,I won't do that again,um,uh where was I oh yeah,Grissom,Sarah's Seidel was in it,with my funny voice I get to do Sarah's,Idol impressions, anyway,um because she talks funny she really, does, anywho um this season just started the, first one,has Catherine in it,and the others have I think gone back to,where they were, anyway good though,um so far anyway I I want to season two, episode one but I decided to go to bed I,was tired and um thankfully did actually, get to sleep the second time but um I,got up really late,um at least I did get some sleep I'm,gonna have to cough so I'm gonna pause,it a second, you need to be glad that you missed that, one of these days I'm going to say I'm,just going to pause it by like sneeze, cough blow my nose or whatever and I'm,Gonna Leave it running and you're gonna, get treated to the whole, well it sounded like a monster from Men,In Black like wow,oh Tasmanian Devil impression, anyway, cheers guys nice cup of biscuit tea,oh it's good I actually didn't put my,little warmer thing on,I didn't think I'd probably would have,it last long enough to do that,if I don't mind just seeing that but, when I know it's going to be a big one, anyway I have an open with me to do,I there were a few crochet magazines in,the shop, and I held off buying them for the, simple fact that last time I did because,I thought my subscriptions had all come,to an end they sent them to me lined it,up with duplicates and they're not cheap,so I didn't want to buy them for no,reason, but I know this one I don't have a,subscription for because it's one of the, knit ones,so I will do that,I will do that soon, although I'll get through it or not, without coughing I don't know because,it's talking that seems to bring it on,more now I wasn't talking to myself last, night was I,well no I wasn't,but yeah talking does kind of make it,worse it also wears me out, funny enough, how on Earth can you get into such a,state in your life we're talking, physically wet as well,I really want to know so I've got that,in my head now,I won't sing again,I won't subject you to it,did some more of my blanket last night, though it's quite,um quite big now,um it gets it hard to sort of switch, around when you're working on it to move, the whole thing when you get it to,change it's one minute it's easy just to,like switch around and do the next,Row the other way and after a while it,becomes like a major operation turning,it it's not quite there yet Gary's,blanket is I have to say,not that I have done any,Gary's blanket is at the moment in the,um,the Rocks shed the she shed the yarn, room the hobby rocks slash crochet rocks,Caravan conversion, which needs a simpler name basically, but um yeah that's where it is and I,often see it there and think oh I should, get that out,and you know a couple of you now used to,be just Jane but a couple of you now uh,Gary's cheerleaders give me a go give me,a guy no don't,no okay I think I've stopped, that did be no good whatsoever, give me a guy I don't give me a G give,me an a,h,come over the crochet rocks be of it PC,sorry,oh goodness gracious okay said something, the other day why don't you do a live I,went do come on,laughs,I said you know when I do a he says you,do your blog I know but I can pause that, while I have a coffin fit or when I need,to sneeze, blow my nose whatever, when it's live you know you'd be,subjected to the whole experience which,I can't see that plastic wear me out, during the whole live,I keep looking for granny D have you, ever known that I think oh I wonder if,D's on and I look and either she's not,or I've missed her,and uh,I saw Blossom was on last night but that, coincided with the time when I thought,oh no I really do need to try and go to,bed, because I'd already had one full start,in regarding the bed Department,so uh

#870 How Do You Do?, Forvo, Prince Charles, Wall

#870 How Do You Do?, Forvo, Prince Charles, Wall

hi I'm Sarah welcome to The Daily,Englischer the mistake I'd like to talk, about today is the use of the phrase how,do you do as I understand it how do you,do is a phrase used when meeting, somebody like nice to meet you so it,doesn't mean how are you or how do you,do something so some people might get, those two things mixed up how do you do,and how are you but i also think just, using the phrase how do you do when you, meet someone can be a mistake but, perhaps it depends on the country as for,me I'm from New Zealand and catch isn't,now in my life I've met thousands of,people and no one has ever said how do,you do so I don't think it's very common,in New Zealand if anyone uses it at all, most people say nice to meet you or a,variation on that it's a pleasure to,meet you lovely to meet you fabulous to,meet you darling so great to finally, meet you hey bruh when I think of how do,you do I think of the Queen of England,or very posh people in the UK I had a,look online to see what people are, saying about this and I found a post by,Jonathan and English teacher from the UK,who teaches in France he says stop, saying how do you do virtually nobody, says it anymore first someone replied in,a comment I just want to mention that, when you enter the world of academia and, business and the UK you go to a,conference in London every third person, you meet says how do you do but then,Jonathan our players you must be posh on,the estate where I grew up and read it,you'd get beaten up for saying how do,you do and if they could get beaten up a,new zealand,my look at you funny or laughs so tell,me do you use how do you do when you, meet someone is it only posh people in,the UK and characters and japanese text, books what do people actually use it in,other parts of the world today I,recommend a site called for VAR which i,think is brilliant it's a site where you,can listen to words being pronounced I,found it last week when I was talking, about Stanley Kubrick and I realized I,didn't know how to pronounce his name I,was looking over my notes before filming, and I was thinking is it Kubrick or,Kubrick and so I checked online and, that's when I found father and my,problem was solved just like that this, kind of site is really useful for me,because I don't work in an office full,of people so I can't just turn to the, person at the next desk to check and, also because they live in Japan I'm not, surrounded by English so I often forget, how to pronounce things and I think, you'll find this site is useful for, language study too,Keota instant news today for the first, time in almost two decades Prince,Charles is visiting Japan charles philip,Arthur George is a 59 year old english, prince he's the eldest son of the Queen,of England charles and his wife Camilla, arrived in japan on monday night they're,in japan for five days to celebrate the,150th anniversary of diplomatic, relations between Japan and Britain and, that was step news for wednesday the,29th of october kilda today's word is,estate this word has many meanings one,of them is this a large area of land, usually in the country that is owned by,one person or family in New Zealand I,think people use this word to sound posh,or classy a lot of wineries user in,their name like villa maria estate and, also luxury accommodation like a stone, ridge estate so at first I thought,Jonathan's comment sounded very strange, because he's accusing someone of being, posh and then he's saying he grew up on,an estate which makes him sound posh but, then I looked it up and in British,English estate also means housing estate,or council estates which is the kind of,public housing system and the UK in New,Zealand this is called state housing the, government or,or the state owns some houses and they, rent them to people who don't have much, money did you really play the part of a,wall and the wall speaks maybe ages ago,but I can't remember the story ok how, many shows did you put on oh so wasn't a,performance you just read the lines how, many lines did the wall have I'm sure, you made a great wall yeah, yeah it's a play within a play have you, seen a midsummer night's dream in the, play some characters put on a play so,the part of the wall is actually a,character playing the part of a wall in,a play oh it wasn't a proper shirt, actually I was just in class no it was,the performance and we rehearsed a few, times and had to remember lines and, stuff was in a lecture theatre actually,is for a second year Shakespeare paper I,think the professor art stefanel was, interested in doing it and in a group of,us got together and did the performance, just an election and that was in a,couple and a gesture to which was, crucial to the plan don't knock it walls, are very useful things Prince Charles is,the Prince of a whale's be Scotland Feed Your Family Dinner $1.00 - Struggle Meal But Delicious Meal - Eating on a Budget

Feed Your Family Dinner $1.00 - Struggle Meal But Delicious Meal - Eating on a Budget

hey everybody welcome back to the wolf, pit with another episode of eating on a,budget if you're new to the channel, welcome aboard you're now one of the, people and i'm here for you in most, cases trying foods for you so you don't,have to,but today we're making a budget meal, and let me explain the budget meals that,i make because there's always that one, person that's got to tell everyone that, they could eat the whole dish by,themselves and there's nothing wrong, with that they're very fortunate to be,able to eat all they want but they're,certainly not gonna get a participation, trophy for me for being a glutton but,all jokes aside some people aren't,nearly as fortunate as others who don't,know what when or if they're gonna have,a next meal so the purpose of these, budget videos is to try to create, recipes and ideas that are hopefully, inexpensive enough that those less, fortunate than others are able to at,least eat in most cases the serving, sizes are not huge there's only enough, food for one serving per person, depending on the size of your family but, they'll have a warm nutritious delicious, meal in their stomach and something in,your stomach is certainly better than an,empty stomach but the ironic thing i,found out through the comments of these, videos is whether you're struggling to,eat with your last buck or you're just, trying to save a buck people like these, meals because they're inexpensive, they're delicious and they're easy to,make,so in today's video i'm going to show, you how to make a delicious nutritious, and filling five ingredient chicken pot,pie for eight dollars and forty three, cents or one dollar and five cents per, serving started off with the most, expensive ingredient in this pot pie a,4.50 rotisserie chicken,it's gonna take a little bit more effort, but you can get a rotisserie chicken, cheaper than the four dollars and fifty, cents go to the grocery store early in,the morning between seven and nine a.m,and you're likely to find a leftover, chilled rotisserie chicken from the day, before that's been marked down for quick, sale or you can ask the person in the, deli if they have any left over because,in most grocery stores they use a,leftover rotisserie chicken to make, chicken salad so if they have too many,of them they're more than likely going,to give you a discount just to get rid,of it instead of throwing it away and,the same thing with fresh chicken if you, don't want to get a rotisserie chicken, again go to the grocery store early in,the morning and look for whole or,individual pieces of chicken that have, been marked down for quick sale so take, your rotisserie chicken and pull all the, meat off the bones and shred it or chop,it however you like it,i like big chunks of chicken in my pot,pie so we shredded it in big chunks and, then save the bones and skin to make a,chicken stock width that you can freeze,or in our case we eat the skin as we,pull the chicken when you're struggling, for meal to meal calories are very, important which brings me to another, point save all the fat and drippings in,the rotisserie chicken container and, either mix them with the chicken bones, and skin for stock or mix them with the, meat you pulled for the pot pie which is,what we did they had a ton of flavor and, calories, next add a can of diced potatoes that, have been very well drained and these, only cost 62 cents, next add a 12 ounce bag of frozen mixed, vegetables which cost exactly one dollar, and you can use any kind of vegetables, you like in your pot pie you don't have,to use the ones i'm using, follow the vegetables up with a family, size can of cream of whatever kind of,soup you like i'm using cream of,mushroom soup you can use cream of,chicken soup cream of celery soup cream,of asparagus soup cream of cream soup i,don't care use what you like you're the,one that's going to be eating it and, then season the mixture however you like,i'm using just a little bit of salt, pepper and garlic and some poultry, seasoning, just whatever you use be easy on the, salt because the rotisserie chicken and,the can of condensed soup already has a,good amount of sodium, now give it all a good mix,and if you've noticed i haven't added, any water to the condensed soup and, that's because as the frozen vegetables, cook they'll produce a lot of liquid,if you want your pot pie filling a,little bit more on the soupy side add a,little bit of milk or water, and then cover with a piece of aluminum, foil, and place it into a 350 degree oven, for 30 to 40 minutes or until it's,heated through, you're really just trying to heat, everything up and you don't want to,overcook the chicken and make it stringy, that is of course unless you like, stringy chicken, once your chicken pot pie is thoroughly, heated through give it another good mix,and then roll out an 8-pack of buttery, and flaky crescent rolls which only, costs 93 cents, but ensure you don't do what i did and,let the crescent roll sit out on the, warm counter while you're preparing the, rest of the pot pie, otherwise it'll be extreme

we'll have, for dinner because they don't serve it,here but maybe they can improvise, something for us it's so crazy that a,lot of people don't know this about,Thailand they just know the beaches Kevin O’Leary Reacts: Retiring Early On $870K In Arizona | Millennial Money

Kevin O’Leary Reacts: Retiring Early On $870K In Arizona | Millennial Money

hey mr wonderful here and i'm going to,watch this video that i've never seen, before called retiring early on 870,000 in arizona millennial money, hey listen smash that like button do it,now do it again,do it one more time with feeling in my,early 30s,i came to the realization that i just, could not spend the rest of my life, sitting in front of a computer working,10 to 12 hours a day, writing computer code or fixing problems,i just couldn't do that,i knew i needed a change, not everybody can work like an,entrepreneur has to work which is 25,hours a day, every day of the week now the reason you, would do that is one day you might sell, the business and have enough money,to not have to do that anymore but in,the majority of the cases, you know i've tried this too i retired, for three years it's really boring, you actually are successful sell a,business and you work even harder, how crazy is that some people like to,work, this guy doesn't nothing wrong with that,i'm just pointing out that many, entrepreneurs never stop working, they work till they're dead our rule of,thumb when it comes to,when we actually sell our investments, and take money out,is we only do it in an up market if we,can help it which is why we have that, savings account there, and we'll sell money we'll sell stock to,get money,in an up market if one we need to,replenish our savings,or two we have a big purchase that we're,planning to make in the near future, all right so let me tell you the first, problem i see with this, they try to keep between 60 to 80,thousand dollars in their savings, account when they need, money they only want to sell in an up,market, here's bad news markets don't listen to,you they don't care what you think they, don't always go,up sometimes they go down and when, you're trying to determine, exactly when to turn into cash you're,trying to do something called time, the market i have never met anybody that, successfully timed the market you can,get it right once or twice, but knowing when to sell and when to buy, based on the fluctuations and volatility,of the market,is really really really hard so if your, strategy is we're only going to sell, enough markets, that ain't going to work, yeah okay so their net so my points, being made we just, learned that their net worth dropped 200,000 because of the pandemic,no kidding the volatility in the market,in march april may last year was insane, and as a matter of fact in a matter of,just 20 days, the entire returns of the market really, were realized some days the market went,up as much as nine percent in four hours, that's volatility so a strategy that, you're selling, you know only in up markets isn't going,to work when you got volatility very, difficult, friends and some of my family were, begging me to sell to get out of the, market because everything is going to,crash, but for us we did not do that we did not, sell a single, share of stock during the economic, downturn and since then we have, recovered, about a hundred and fifty percent so,that's 250 300 000 dollars, yippee io kaia by not selling even in,the volatile times, this lesson has been learned he did not,try and time the market now he's up 150,of what he was at the low at so that's,basically how it works, maybe the best way for this couple is to,sell the same amount, each quarter regardless of what the, stock prices are, since april of last year so we are now,in a,better position than we were before, precisely because we did not try to time, the market, they sold their house okay, and bought an airstream it was my first, representation of freedom, after work we got to live in here and, travel the country for a living, that was awesome we would be traveling, sometimes multiple, days a week and did an entire trip from, our home state of arizona, all the way out east to new york up to,the upper peninsula of michigan and all,the way back down, working the little jobs we do or,whatever from the road we could really,be wherever we wanted to be,we call our house the off-grid,recession-proof house, for just that reason almost no expenses,we can live here, nearly as cheaply as as we need to,we have no power running to the house we,have solar only,so that was a prepayment essentially but,we have no monthly payments there we,don't have to pay for water because we,use, water catchment we don't have to pay for, sewer because we have septic,on site and that was really attractive,to us,as we were trying to settle down from,full-time airstreams a full-time,mobile life where do we go how do we,keep our expenses down so we can stay, early retired okay so it's a little bit,of an eclectic lifestyle okay i mean, there's nothing wrong with this,i mean it's it's kind of like the, wandering soul,or almost being hippie or being off the, grid and all that,it's not for me i don't like that i,prefer to be in a city where i can go,out to a restaurant for dinner or,whatever but for this couple it's,working, each to your own but the key is they've,kind of figured out a financial strategy, for doing this they're buying lan
