FIVE Cheap & Fancy $5 Dinners! / TASTY Low-Budget Meals Made EASY!! // Julia Pacheco

hey there if you know me you know that,i'm all about budget friendly dinner, ideas so today i'm going to be showing, you five new family dinners that you, could throw together for only about five, dollars each so these dinners will help, you on your grocery budget and they're,all delicious so i hope you enjoy it and, let's go get started to kick us off, today we are making this easy cheesy, goulash while we're at the grocery store,i do want to show you the products that,we purchased to stay right around five, dollars so i first grabbed an onion then,i headed over to the meat department and,i grabbed one pound of ground turkey i,only used a half a pound of that ground, turkey for this specific recipe and i,saved the other half a pound of the, turkey for a future recipe later on you, just wait and see, next i went over to the canned tomatoes, and i grabbed a can of petite diced, tomatoes with garlic and olive oil i do,like buying the specific can because it,does have the added flavor of the oil,and the garlic in it it is delicious and, then i grabbed one box of shells and, cheese this is very inexpensive and it,will add quite a bit to your meal the, last thing i grabbed was one block of,mozzarella cheese we will only be using, half of this block of cheese for this, specific recipe, now let's go ahead to the house and, start this meal to the pan on my stove i,have two tablespoons of hot olive oil,i'm adding our half a pound of ground, turkey into the pan along with half of,the onion that we grabbed from the store, then i broke the ground turkey up and i,started cooking it through we're going,to be adding our seasonings now just, about half a teaspoon of salt and pepper, and then one teaspoon of italian, seasoning cook your ground turkey, through at this point while we have our, turkey cooking away we are going to,start on our pasta shells so to my pot,of boiling water i added that pasta, right in there and i cooked it according,to the box instructions now back over to,our turkey that is now cooked i added in,our can of diced tomatoes along with a,teaspoon of italian seasoning half a,teaspoon of salt and pepper and the, cheese packet that came with the box of,shells and cheese i gave this a really, good stir to combine the ingredients,i strained our pasta shells then i added, them right into my pan i gave this a,really good stir to coat the pasta, shells then after i was through with, that i added in our four ounces of,mozzarella cheese that i shredded i gave, this a really good stir to melt the, cheese down then it was time to serve it,up,here's my big bowl of dinner my family, absolutely loves this dinner especially,my little toddler brinley this does not, lack in flavor it is so so delicious and,you cannot even tell how budget-friendly,this dinner actually is,now we're making these super fun pizza, pockets the first thing that we're,grabbing from the grocery store is one,of these cans of tomato sauce this is a,little trick that i like to do when i'm,trying to save money at the grocery, store i buy a can of tomato sauce like, that instead of buying one of these jars,of pizza sauce because it's,significantly cheaper and when we go,back to my house i'm going to show you, what i'm going to do to this jar of,tomato sauce to make it so so delicious, the next thing that i'm grabbing is one,of these cans of crescent dough or you, could use biscuit dough whatever you, prefer this is very inexpensive and then, the last thing that i'm grabbing from, this store is a package of pepperoni or,you could grab any of your favorite, pizza toppings,to get this recipe started the first, thing that i am doing is pouring our can,of tomato sauce in this bowl then we're,going to be adding plenty of seasoning,so it is not bland a half a teaspoon of,pepper and dried basil then one teaspoon,of italian seasoning give this a really, good stir then there you go you have, some delicious pizza sauce that costs, near nothing to make now over to my,sheet pan that i have lined with, parchment paper i unrolled our crescent, dough and i'm putting a little scoop of,that pizza sauce on each crescent, triangle next you're going to be placing,a little bit of mozzarella cheese on,each of the crescent triangles as well, this is just the other half of the, mozzarella cheese that we used for the, goulash the last thing i'm adding on is,a couple pieces of pepperoni or you, could use your favorite pizza toppings, and then go ahead and roll these up,after i was finished rolling up all of,our pizza pockets i sprayed the top of,them with a little bit of avocado oil, spray then i sprinkled them with a,little bit of italian seasoning for, extra flavor this baked on 375 degrees, for about 13 to 15 minutes or until the, tops were golden brown and you might be,wondering what i am doing with the, excess pizza sauce that we made up i,typically just keep it in a tupperware, container or a little bag and i just, store it in my freezer until the next, time i need to use it,here's what they look like out of the, oven and ready to enjoy t

$5 DINNERS | FIVE Quick & Easy Cheap Meals | Julia Pacheco

hey there welcome over here today i'm,really excited to be sharing, this video with you i'm gonna be showing, you some of my family's,favorite dinners that are all either, five dollars,or less i got a request to do this video,a couple weeks ago so,that's why i'm making it these meals are,all delicious we're not compromising, flavor or anything of that made,of that nature they're all delicious but,i hope you guys had a wonderful week, this past week and i hope you are all, doing well but let's get to cooking,we're gonna start out by making some, homemade, marinara sauce you could buy canned, marinara sauce at the store for pretty, cheap, but making it at home is very very, inexpensive, and it just tastes so much better and,you know what ingredients are, actually in your sauce so to get this, one started i am just dicing up one, medium sized onion into smaller pieces,to my dutch oven i added a tablespoon of,olive oil let that get hot,and then i added our diced up onion i'm,going to let this onion, get soft once it is soft i'm going to,add in our garlic this is three cloves,of garlic, adding fresh garlic is very inexpensive,to recipes it stays fresh for a while, and then it makes your food just taste,so much better so we love cooking with, garlic in our home,so now that the garlic is fragrant i'm,going to be adding in,two teaspoons of some dried basil or you, could add italian seasoning, whatever your preference is to cut the, acidity of the crushed tomatoes that we,will add in a moment i'm adding a half a,teaspoon of some, sugar that will really help out i've,added brown sugar in the past and that, also tastes delicious, then i added in our 28 ounce can of,crushed tomatoes along with a fourth a,cup of water,we like ours a little bit thinner so,that is why i added the water,i'm going to stir this all together, bring it up to a simmer and i let this, simmer on my stove for about 40 minutes, now i'm going to add my half a pound of,spaghetti to this pot of boiling water i,got this entire thing,a spaghetti noodles for so cheap at,kroger my store kroger, puts those noodles on sale that specific, brand very often so keep an eye out for, that brand, anyways i just added our spaghetti, noodles to that sauce once, each of those were cooked and then this,is the finished product, this marinara sauce spaghetti mixture is,delicious it is also a meatless meal so,if you are meatless, this is perfect you could also add, ground sausage to this, and then that will also boost up the, flavor and then add, some protein if you you know want some, meat in there, for a rice casserole i actually made, this pretty often when my husband and i,were first married we didn't have a ton,of money, and this is just really really good so,to my dutch oven i'm adding this pound,of ground, turkey i got this ground turkey for half, off,at my local kroger they had it on sale,so i actually got a few of them, they freeze well so just keep that in,mind now that my,turkey is completely cooked i'm only, going to be adding about a teaspoon of,this taco, seasoning to my turkey i'm going to stir,it all together and then add a small, amount,of water to scrape all the bits off of,the bottom of the pan,now i'm adding in my can of petite diced, tomatoes i prefer petite diced tomatoes, over, regular diced tomatoes that's just my,preference i'm going to,stir this all together and then we're,going to be adding in our,box of rice-a-roni spanish rice and then,i'm going to follow the directions on,the back,of that as far as adding the liquid in,and, the cooking time so i'm just going to,follow the back for that, now that our rice is completely cooked i,just gave this,a stir to fluff it up and now here is my,bowl i topped mine with some, fresh onion and cheese onion is very, very inexpensive, this is delicious like i said previously,i made it a lot when will and i were, first married it's just very budget, friendly, now i'm showing you these fajitas i grew,up in new mexico, and my mom made fajitas all the time, growing up,these are the ingredients i'm using i,only used one chicken breast this, chicken was on sale it's typically on,sale,at kroger or smith's and now i'm just, chopping up,my one bell pepper and one onion i do,want to mention, green bell pepper is always less, expensive, than the other colors of bell pepper i,have found so just keep an eye on,that it's actually significantly less, money,to my pan i'm going to drizzle a,tablespoon of some olive oil right in,there,i'm going to let it get hot and then add,my one chicken breast you're going to,want to season your chicken breast now,you can make your own, homemade fajita seasoning or buy fajita, seasoning i'm just using some more of,that taco seasoning that we just used in,the, last recipe because i didn't want to,have to buy some more fajita seasoning, that's just,my preference i think it still tastes, good with taco seasoning,i'm going to do this to both sides you, could also bake your fajitas,i typically do that when i make more, fajitas but anyways, once that was cooked i removed it

EASY $5 DINNERS ON A BUDGET | 5 INGREDIENT OR LESS MEALS | FIGHTING INFLATION ON GROCERIES WITH ME!

EASY $5 DINNERS ON A BUDGET | 5 INGREDIENT OR LESS MEALS | FIGHTING INFLATION ON GROCERIES WITH ME!

hey guys welcome back to my channel in,today's video I'm sharing with you five, five dollar dinners it has been quite, some time since I have done a five, dollar dinners and I thought that I,needed to bring them back so all of,these meals I got everything at Walmart,I would pick the cheapest store around, you to get these meals please just keep,in mind that where you live products, might cost different than where I live, that's how I judged, how to make these meals and what, ingredients and keeping the cost in mind,so I will share with you everything that,I got how much I spent and then I will, break down each meal and then all of the, ingredients and instructions will be in,the description box give it video a,thumbs up if you like it please share I,appreciate that and let's get into the, video, okay here's everything that I got at,Walmart, these are for five meals,um and I spent, with taxes,26.26 so,foreign, foreign, foreign, foreign,so this is some of my favorite bread,it's a dollar at Walmart deli and, sometimes you can go to the back and get, these for like 25 cents, and just eat them that day or put them,in the freezer thank you, blue red blue,so we're gonna use this bread and some, cheese we're gonna have grilled cheese, and tomato soup I am gonna put some, seasoning in the tomato soup the cream, that I put in made it a little creamy, and we're gonna put some seasoning in,there, thank you, foreign, foreign, here's the soup I put in,a little bit half and half because, that's what I had you could just do milk,or water whatever you want put in basil, onion powder and then all of that bread, made probably about 10 to 12 of these, this is what we're gonna have,um tonight so turned out really simple, and easy it's a really good winter meal,if you have croutons croutons or,goldfish are actually good in tomato, soup, foreign, okay y'all so for this five dollar, dinners,it makes a ton of food and it really is,five dollars, all you're gonna need is a bag of brown, rice this is like 88 cents at Walmart, okay, and then you can also buy this 15 bean, soup this is really good there are like, instructions on here if you want to make,it more filling or add more stuff but, honestly,it it usually comes with it comes with a,seasoning packet in it you literally, just have to do water you can add onion,or diced tomatoes or whatever like to,make it more filling you can even add,ham like a ham bone or sausage if you, have more than five dollars,um I'm just gonna Add Water it comes, with seasoning, and then here is some more one dollar, bread,at Walmart and so we will cut this up,later with butter and eat that,um I'll probably chop up an onion just, because I already have that here, super simple let it cook in your crock, pot all day and then cook the rice how,you normally would cook it and it's a,lot of food especially in the winter so,we're gonna do that we're getting a cold, front today,it's going to be super cold so it's,perfect for us today, okay so these are optional but I am,going to put in some of these beef, bouillon cubes so I'm just gonna do two,of these and then drop them in I don't,have any diced tomatoes so I'm not going,to do that I do have an onion I'll do,that and then I'm just gonna do like, garlic powder, onion powder, that's probably it,all right this has been cooking all day, long I did have to add one more cup,of water to cover the beans, but it looks really good, this is not going to take long I'm just, going to pop it in the oven really quick,at 350 to heat it up,foreign, foreign, dinners it's going to be Pizza Diaz, which are quick and easy and we're going,to dip them in ranch all you need is,mozzarella sauce,um,if you buy the Hunts one at Walmart it's,like 82 cents my husband used it the, other night on accident so I just have, this one from Aldi, and then pepperonis and then flour, tortillas and this is what's all five, dollars for this meal, foreign, foreign, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, foreign, dinner I'm gonna share is fried rice I,think I may have shown this in a video a,long time ago,but it's super easy all you need is the,bag of rice that was in like the, previous meal, for like 88 cents, soy sauce is really cheap if you don't,have it on hand already you need eggs, which you probably already have on hand, and then I just buy this little pack,um a frozen vegetables you can even do,canned honestly that's cheaper, and you're gonna need your rice cooked,so I just cooked the rice in the instant, pot, and I'm gonna throw it in like a skillet, and fry it up,um it's like super cheap and easy my,kids love it you could put chicken or,pork with it if you wanted to for more, money but we just like it like this, all right my rice is cooked you can just, cook the whole bag however you would, like, foreign, foreign, thank you, thanks so much for watching everybody I,hope that you all enjoyed I am planning,to try to make more of these if y'all, like them please drop a comment down, below of more video ideas you'd like to,see in the new year, also stay tuned for my budgeting video, that is go

15 CHEAP $5 Dinners! Quick Low Budget Meals Made EASY!

15 CHEAP $5 Dinners! Quick Low Budget Meals Made EASY!

today i'm sharing with you 15 of my,budget friendly dinners, now usually the budget dinners are, really quick and really easy which i'm a,huge fan of this week's actually been, pretty crazy we went down to moab my,husband and i and our two daughters we,went to our youth girls camp and it was,so fun to be rafting the river and just, having fun in the outdoors and now that,i'm back back to being a mom where life,is wild i need to get back to cooking, dinner and so i'm gonna start with some,of my budget-friendly meals let's just,be honest they're quick they're easy and, they're cheap, now the ingredients we need for this is,our french bread which is one dollar our, milk we're gonna use,not all of the milk so it'll be about 86,cents our eggs will be 159 and our, frosting will be 134,all right we're gonna start by,preheating our oven to 350 degrees, all right now you're gonna cut the, french bread into half inch slices, mine are closer to an inch and you know,it'll still work it's fine now i'm going,to take a pan and spray it with,non-stick cooking spray i like to use, pam, then you're going to take your bread and, just do a single layer on the bottom all, right in a little bowl we're gonna crack, five eggs we're gonna add 3 4 cup of,milk, now please don't be mad there are some, things i didn't add to the five dollars,so i already had vanilla i already had, cinnamon and i already had nutmeg so,hopefully you have these in your house,so we have two teaspoons of vanilla half, tablespoon of cinnamon whoa we won't add,as much since i got a little out of,control and then two teaspoons of nutmeg, and we're just gonna mix this up really, well break those egg yolks, then we're gonna pour half of the, mixture onto our little french bread, french toast that might be more than, half but that's okay i'm gonna spread it,around just a little bit okay and we're,just gonna add the rest of our bread on,there just going right over top i know, these pieces are a little smaller but it,will still work okay then we're gonna, take the rest of our mixture and just, pour it on top now for my favorite part, you're gonna take about half a cup of,brown sugar and we're just gonna, sprinkle it on top then if you want to,you can add a little bit of cinnamon too,now this recipe you don't have to let it,sit overnight you can just bake it as,soon as you're done or if you want to,have it overnight that will work too so,either way it doesn't matter but we're,gonna bake it at 350 degrees for about,25 minutes all right our french toast, bake is all done cooking i'm gonna take, the cream cheese frosting yes i know,it's canned i actually don't mind it but,i'm gonna stick it in the microwave for, about 10 seconds or so just to get it,nice and soft so we can spread it on top,of our french toast now the secret is,pull this out of the oven let it sit for, about a minute or two and we're just, gonna put a blob of frosting on each, french toast bite, then i'm gently gently so you don't want, any of that brown sugar to come up just, gonna spread it across each one okay and,we're just gonna let this sit,and melt, now what i'm picking up today is,tortillas are a dollar cheddar cheese is,186 our eggs are 159 and the salsa i,love dipping in salsa comes to 1.23,cents,okay we're gonna first start by cracking, the eggs now if you haven't seen this, before this is called a crackum not, sponsored or anything i just love using,it we're gonna crack all six eggs into a,bowl then i'm just gonna add a little, bit of salt sorry salt is not part of it,i figure most people have salt at home, and then we're just going to crunch up,the yolks and then mix this all together,in a skillet on medium heat i'm going to,spray the bottom of my pan and then just, pour in my eggs we're going to make some, scrambled eggs, now usually you can add a little milk to,your scrambled eggs or water to your, scrambled eggs or my dad taught me you, know what you can just cook them just, like this and it'll be just fine, all right we are pretty much done here, let's just pull this off,all right next i'm just going to shred,my cheese usually i buy pre-shedded but,if you're trying to save money, shredding yourself seriously will save, you quite a bit now i love these for, breakfast time or i love them for dinner, time or lunch you know you can have eggs, any time i swear so we're gonna put our, cheese down, first on our tortillas so i'm guessing, this will make about three you can, really stretch out your eggs you could, make four, okay next we're gonna add some eggs,i'm just going to try and spread them, out the best that we can,and i'm going to put a tortilla right on,top of here i'll let that cook, they've been on for about two minutes,we're just going to flip them real quick, all right these are, done so we're gonna pull them right off, part of the five dollars is the salsa so,we're gonna just pour that into a bowl, and then, dip in,our, breakfast quesadillas, the first thing that i got is rotel or,the walmart version of it and that came,to 60 cents next i bought a bag of

💵 ALDI BUDGET FAMILY MEALS // $5 DINNERS, KID FRIENDLY

💵 ALDI BUDGET FAMILY MEALS // $5 DINNERS, KID FRIENDLY

hey friends welcome back to my channel, and welcome back to my kitchen i'm mindy, today i am sharing with you one of the, most popular types of videos on my,channel this is a budget cooking video,so stay tuned,if you don't find what you're looking, for with this video i hope that you will, check out the playlist that i have, linked in the description box below i,have done dozens of these budget cooking, videos using different parameters, shopping at different stores using, different budgets cooking for family, cooking for just one person using, different appliances in my kitchen to,only using the microwave i've made, budget cooking videos where i cook a lot, from scratch using really basic, ingredients and i also have videos where,i have used some convenience items or,some pre-packaged pre-seasoned items to,make meals from which is actually the, tack that i took with this video so if,this one doesn't float your boat i hope, that you will check out that list below, and see if there's something else that,is closer to what you're looking for for, this video i shopped at aldi and my,budget for myself was ten dollars to,make two family meals and i really, wanted these to be very kid friendly i,am also currently living in one of those, weeks as a mom where i just do not have, very much extra time on my hand so i,took a few shortcuts and i used some, convenience ingredients to make these, meals to feed my family this week maybe, you already have some of these, ingredients maybe you need to shop at,another store but i will show you what i,purchased what i paid for it and then, show you how i used it to make two, dinners for my family that came out to,just about five dollars a piece if you, need to change these up to suit your, tastes or preferences or to suit the, budget that you are working with and by,all means do so i'm just trying to give, some ideas maybe this will be a jumping, off point that will lead to other ideas, that will work even better for your, family before we dive in i hope that you, will hit that like button give me a,thumbs up because it helps me appease, the algorithm and if you like this type,of content i hope that you will consider, subscribing to my channel because i like,i said have done a lot of these videos, and plan to continue doing them in the, future believe it or not i'm going to,get two family meals out of what you see, here on the counter that i purchased at,aldi who says you can't have fresh, produce on a budget i got some zucchini, they were on sale for a dollar 29 a,pound i got a package that is just a,little bit less than one and a half, pounds and then the roma tomatoes are a,dollar oh nine for a one pound package, not a bad deal i also got one box of,beef flavored this is kind of like their,rice-a-roni take you'll see how i'm,gonna use that, one block of extra sharp cheddar cheese, this is an eight-ounce block they are a,dollar eighty-five at my aldi right now,you can switch this out for a different, kind of cheese i'm gonna use half of,this in each of the meals that i'm,making and since i'm using a little less, cheese than i probably normally would i,went for a sharp and actually an extra, sharp because that will be a little bit, more flavorful than some of the more, milder cheeses i have a can of,chili with no beans and then a can of,chili flavored beans which i know sounds, really interesting right next to each, other why didn't i just you know cut a,corner and buy chili with beans you'll,see why and i wanted to get pinto beans, but they didn't have any,so you could change this out for, different kind of beans they have black, beans once you see how i'm using these, you can decide what you want to use you, could also do refried beans they do have,a couple of different kinds of pastas, there that are 79 cents a box but they, have the farfalle and then i think it's,like a tri-color rotini that are only 12,ounce boxes and they usually have a,penne and another kind of pasta that's a,16 ounce box but they were out of those,16 ounce boxes for the 79 price so i,went ahead and went for the bow ties, which is actually okay because 12 ounces,is usually about all that i use in the, meals that i make for my family that's,six servings of pasta plus with the, other things we're gonna put along with,it it will make five to six servings, which for us is just fine i also got a,package of flour tortillas this is the, kind of the large size the burrito size,so there's eight of them in here and i,also got one of these cans of crescent, rolls and this is actually what put me,just a little bit over my budget but i,wanted to try something with these to go,along with the pasta dish that i'm going,to make so you'll see what i'm using, those for here in a bit my total before, tax for everything that i showed you was,10.44,so i was just a little bit over my 10,budget and what put me over was this, right here the crescent rolls had i just, picked up a regular loaf of white bread, for 79 cents for a whole loaf i could, have made some toast to go along with, the pasta dish

$5 DINNERS | SIX Quick & Easy Cheap Meals | Julia Pacheco

$5 DINNERS | SIX Quick & Easy Cheap Meals | Julia Pacheco

hey there welcome to my kitchen today,i'm going to be showing you,six different family dinners that cost, only about five dollars i know a lot of,people, especially right now are trying to save, money,so this is going to be super duper, helpful i do also want to let you know,we are not cutting corners all of these, meals are, really delicious so i hope you enjoy, this video let's,jump to my kitchen and start cooking,we're going to begin today with a,simple classic fun one these taco pizzas, are awesome so in my pan right here i,have a little over a half a pound of,ground beef,i'm going to cook this ground beef up,once it's thoroughly cooked through,i just removed any excess grease and, then i added about a half a cup of water, and then a half a packet of this taco, seasoning, stir this all together and let it simmer, for about three minutes, over to my large baking sheet i'm going,to be spraying it with plenty of oil, spray and then adding my four flour, tortillas right on there,of course you could use more or less, tortillas depending on your family's,needs, and then i sprayed the top of the, tortillas with more oil spray and then i,put it in my preheated oven to 350,degrees,for about 10 minutes or until they were, crisp like this, for the toppings for my pizza i'm just, going to be layering, these refried beans first just a little, layer of them and then the taco meat and, then, plenty of cheese on top,you could really add any type of,toppings you like to these pizzas but i,kept it fairly simple and budget, friendly,so i baked these for about 10 to 15,minutes,while those were in my oven baking i,just diced up my three tomatoes, buying tomatoes like this at the store,is very very budget friendly so i,definitely suggest it,once my pizzas were out of the oven i,just topped them with the tomatoes, and just like magic our taco pizzas are, done,i love how flavorful these taco pizzas, are, you can't really tell that you're trying,to stay on a budget with them either, which is so nice, and like i said before you could add, whatever toppings you have in your, fridge or your pantry,to make them your own now we're going to,be making this, perfect homemade easy marinara sauce you, could even make a bunch of it at one, time, and freeze it for future meals after i,diced up my one, onion into smaller pieces i went over to,my dutch oven and added a tablespoon of,olive oil, once my oil was hot i added the onion, and i let this onion soften, and saute it took me around five minutes, once it was soft i added in my cup and a,half of chicken broth and then i gave, everything a good stir, the rest of the ingredients i'm going to,be tossing in is just one can of crushed, tomatoes and a can of fire roasted, tomatoes, for the seasonings to give this plenty,of flavor i'm adding in a teaspoon of,oregano, teaspoon of italian seasoning and one,bay leaf, one thing that i typically like to add,in that i didn't add in today is a half,a tablespoon of brown sugar,it just adds so much great flavor and, then the very last thing i added in was,two tablespoons of tomato paste,i gave this a good stir and then i let,it simmer covered for 15 minutes, and then i uncovered it and let it,simmer for an additional,5 minutes, while we do have our marinara sauce, simmering away i'm going to take this, time and boil up,my one pound of spaghetti noodles in a,pot of water,so now over to the marinara sauce now, that it is through simmering i'm,removing the one bay leaf, because nobody wants to accidentally eat, that bay leaf,so now over to my blender i'm just using,my ninja blender or you could use a food, processor,i'm adding the marinara sauce right in,there and then i'm going to,process this all together until it's,smooth this part is of course, optional you don't have to do it but my,family does prefer, really smooth marinara sauce,of course i sprinkled the top of my,spaghetti with parmesan cheese, this marinara sauce has such a nice rich, flavor,it totally beats any of the jarred, marinara sauce at the store and like i,said before you can make a ton of it at,one time and freeze the rest, now we're going to get started on this, vegetable packed taco pasta,to my dutch oven i have a tablespoon of,hot olive oil in there,i'm going to be adding these peppers and, onions blend this is a 20 ounce bag i,only used half of it so i only used,10 ounces of it and then i also added, one cup of,frozen corn i do want to let you know if,you don't have oil on hand or if oil is,a little bit too expensive you could, always saute your vegetables in water,i've done that a lot of times in the, past and it worked well but, while my veggies are sauteing i'm just, going to boil up,about half a pound of these rotini, noodles, now that our veggies are soft and they, are super fragrant and smelling really, good,i added in two tablespoons of taco, seasoning along with a third a cup of,water,i gave this a really good stir to,combine everything, and then now we're going to be adding in,one can of rotel i just used the, original rotel but you could use,any type of

thank you,hey there today I'm going to be showing, you five new dinner ideas that only cost, about five dollars each I know grocery, prices have been extremely high recently,so whether you're on a budget or just, trying to save a little bit of money at,this time I hope you could find this, helpful and let's go get to cooking,we're beginning today with this fajita, pasta and while I'm at the grocery store,I am going to show you the products that,I picked up to stay right around five, dollars first I grabbed this box of bow,tie pasta for under a dollar then I,headed over to the produce section and I,grabbed a green bell pepper green bell, peppers are very high in vitamin C then,I grabbed an onion and I noticed that, these white onions are 88 cents a pound, whereas the yellow onions today are 98,cents a pound typically I could buy a,yellow onion for less expensive than a,white onion but today the yellow onions, are more expensive so always keep an eye,on the price per pound when buying, things then I grabbed a container of,heavy whipping cream and then I headed, over to the Tomato section and I grabbed,a can of diced tomatoes with green, chilies this is kind of like Rotel now, let's head back to my house and let's,get to cooking to this pot of boiling, water on the stove I'm going to add in,this entire box of bow tie pasta I,cooked it according to the box, instructions and while that was cooking, away to this large pot I added in a,tablespoon of olive oil once my oil was,hot I added in my sliced green bell, pepper in my sliced onion I gave this a,stir and I let these peppers and onions, cook together for about six to seven, minutes or until they started to get, soft, foreign, now that our pasta is cooked before we,strain it we are going to be removing, and reserving one cup of the water that, the pasta is cooking in and the reason, why we are doing this is because it's,going to help make the sauce and it's,going to make it really silky and creamy, but now that our peppers and onions are, tender we're going to be adding our, seasonings in so toss in a teaspoon of,onion and garlic powder a teaspoon of,paprika a teaspoon of salt and then just,a half a teaspoon of pepper now I'm,going to add in our one cup of heavy, cream we're of course not using the, entire box of heavy cream that we got, from the store just the one cup then I,added in our reserved pasta water I gave, this a stir and I brought this up to a,simmer once simmering I added in our can,of diced tomatoes with green chilies I,did strain our can before adding it in,and then I gave this a stir I let this, simmer stirring it occasionally on my,stove for about three to four minutes to,thicken up the sauce then I added in our, pasta and I gave this a stir once the, pasta was coated in the sauce I served, this up,here's what dinner looks like I topped, mine with fresh cilantro but you could, top yours with anything that you love, for example like guacamole cheese sliced, tomatoes anything but we love this meal,so much because it is full of flavor and,it does not taste like you're trying to,be on a budget at all,now we're making this turkey and rice, goulash so the first thing that we're,going to be grabbing at the grocery, store is one pound of ground turkey as,you see this festive brand of ground, turkey is only two dollars and 54 cents, whereas the genio brand of ground turkey,is 3.17 in the refrigerated section so,look in the freezer section for the, ground turkey it is a little bit less, expensive now I'm going to be grabbing a,bag of rice rice is super filling and as,you see I could grab this one pound bag,of rice for under a dollar and it will, make multiple meals then I grabbed a can,of diced tomatoes this diced tomatoes, has garlic and olive oil in it so it has, extra Flavor now I'm grabbing one can of,mixed vegetables let's head back to the, house and get started the first thing,we're making for this recipe is our rice, and I'm making it in my instant pot, you're only going to need about a cup,and a half of rice for this recipe you, don't need the entire fire bag as you,see there's extra rice here for, different recipes then I added in about, two cups of water and a tablespoon of,olive oil I gave this a stir and I,pressed the rice button if you don't,want to cook your rice in an instant pot,or you don't have one you could cook it,in a rice cooker or just simply over the, stove but while our rice is cooking away,I am going to start on our ground turkey,so to the pan on my stove I'm going to,add our turkey down and I'm going to,break it up and cook the turkey through,at this point once our turkey was cooked, through I added in our seasonings two, teaspoons of Italian seasoning a half a,teaspoon of pepper a teaspoon of onion, and garlic powder and then a teaspoon of,salt and I do want to let you know if,you're on a budget seasonings are pretty, low cost and they will last quite a,while and if you add a bunch of,seasonings to your food it will really, amp up your food so just keep that in,mind then I added in our dr
