How to Make Dinner Rolls in 30 Minutes/30 Minute Rolls

believe it or not you can make homemade, yeast rolls,in 30 minutes these rolls are easy, delicious, picky eater proof and the entire family,is going to love them,hi i'm leanne from your homebasemom.com,and this recipe for 30 minute rolls is,one of the most popular recipes on my,blog,it has hundreds of comments people love, that that doesn't take, four hours to enjoy a homemade roll all,you need are a few ingredients and 30,minutes,let's get started so this roll recipe, makes 12,rolls which is about the perfect amount,to feed a family but if you've got a,reduced-sized family like i do you can, easily divide this recipe in half, all right we are going to use the bowl,of our stand mixer today to make our, rolls, this can totally be done by hand too if,you don't have a stand mixer, and we're going to start with two, tablespoons of,dry active yeast okay now, initially that may seem like a lot of,use to you and it is but we're going to,make these rolls in 30 minutes and this, amount of yeast is what helps, make the rolls rise quickly and but, don't worry that the yeast, does not give the rolls a really yeasty, taste so it's not overly yeasty so,two tablespoons of dry active yeast,we've got a fourth of a cup of sugar,we have a third of a cup of oil now you,can use canola oil vegetable oil, olive oil avocado oil whatever your, preference is,and then we're gonna add in a cup and,two tablespoons of,warm water now you want your water, temperature to be between 105 degrees to,115 so that it,activates the yeast and doesn't kill it,if your water is too hot,it'll kill the yeast if it's not warm, enough it won't activate the yeast,we're going to give it a quick swish, here, and then we're going to let it set for,15 minutes until the yeast gets all nice, and bubbly, one thing i like to do to help my yeast, proof a little bit faster especially if,your home,is a little on the cool side is just to,put a towel or a plate or something over, the bowl, and voila it's going to be nice and, foamy and bubbly we are ready to add in,our other, ingredients we are going to add in one, egg,a teaspoon and a half of salt, and three and a half cups of flour now, today i am using all purpose flour, but you could also use bread flour if,you have that, then we're going to put it in our stand, mixer and we are using our dough hook,we are ready just to knead it for a few, minutes until it's all nice and soft and, smooth, after a few minutes of kneading our, dough is nice and smooth, and soft and we're going to take it out,and divide it into 12 rolls, now to divide my dough i like to just, use my bench scraper, and you can get technical if you want, and pull out your little food scale and, weigh, each roll to make sure they're all the, same size but,i'm not that technical or precise so,we're just going to take it and divide, each half into six pieces, and then we're going to take our a,non-stick baking spray and give our,pan a light spray i am using a 9 by 13,pan,all right then we'll take each of our, pieces of dough and just with a quick, little roll of our hands we'll,form them into a ball and again if,they're not all the same size,i'm okay with that if you're okay,so the rolls have risen for about 10,minutes if you want to give them 15,you've got a few extra minutes that, works too you can see they've gotten, bigger, but they are also going to rise more in,the oven so,don't worry if you don't think they're,quite big enough yet so we're going to,pop them into a 400 degree oven, and we're going to bake them for 10,minutes,30 minutes later and you have beautiful, delicious, homemade rolls that smell amazing, now for the taste test nice and light, and fluffy,of course we're going to add some butter, there is no need to wait for a holiday,or a special occasion,to enjoy homemade rolls all you need is,30 minutes thanks for joining me in the, kitchen today, you can find the recipe for these 30,minute rolls and the description down, below, and be sure to click over here to check, out my other recipes here on youtube, and as always i'd love for you to,subscribe to my channel by clicking down, below, and turn on that little notification, bell so that you'll be notified every, time a new recipe drops here on youtube

Quick & Easy 30 Minute Dinner Rolls / Delicious Bread

Quick & Easy 30 Minute Dinner Rolls / Delicious Bread

hey y'all we are doing 30 minute rolls, today I've been busy in the kitchen I've,got ribs cooking I've got potato salad, going I'm gonna make some baked beans, and I'm gonna do 30 minute rolls, let's get to cooking so the first thing,I'm going to do is I've got one cup of,very warm water I believe it's supposed,to be about 110. I just do it out of the, faucet and as long as I can it's like, hot water or something warm bath water,it's good and I've got some yeast this, actually says it's for bread machine but,it's all they had when I went to get it,a while back but you can use any yeast, active dry rapid rise, and then we're going to use some oil,so we are going to add 1 3 cup of oil, which I have here I'm just using, vegetable oil to the warm water,1 4 cup of sugar I forgot to mention, that a while ago,we've got 1 4 cup of sugar, and two tablespoons of yeast,we're going to stir this up a little bit, until the Sugar's dissolved and then,we're gonna let this sit maybe eight or,ten minutes until the,the yeast is foamy,so we're just going to set this aside,y'all have so much going on but look, this hasn't even been the eight minutes, and look at this foam on this I'm gonna, pour this into my mixer Bowl, this is the oil the sugar the yeast in,the water,so now we're gonna stir in,the beaten egg one beaten egg I've,already got it beaten here I'm gonna, pour it in,one tablespoon of softened butter, got it in,and 1 4 teaspoon of salt,I'm just going to stir all this together, until it gets mixed up and the butter, should melt, now I've already made a mistake I told, you 1 4 teaspoon of salt is one half so,I'm gonna add another fourth, there we go I got it in,y'all I love white lily self not,self-rising all-purpose flour I love,self-rising too uh white lily to me is,the best so that's what I'm gonna add,one cup at a time,so I'm going to go ahead and add one cup,and I just measure it I get it as full,as I can and then just, measure it with my finger just level it,off with my fingers what I should say,I'm going to add one cup to this yeast, mixture, and we are gonna let this mixer do the, work,we're going to start out slow and then,we'll start, starting if I did not tell you you can,do this by hand you do not have to have,a stand mixer I have done it by hand but, this sure does make it a lot easier I'm,adding my second cup of all-purpose,flour,I'm gonna mix this up,I'm gonna go ahead and add my third cup,it says three to four on the recipe, that you never know because of the, weather how it's gonna do,just want to add this flour until you, have a soft dough that isn't sticky, all I'm doing now is just scraping the, sides down,it has come together in a soft dough but,it is still sticky so I'm going to,continue beating this three cups in here, and see where so where we go from there, okay I'm going to go ahead and add a,fourth cup and that should be it,30 minute rolls,up,and you'll see that this has come to a,it's making a ball,in the mixer, and speed it up,and at this point you want the, difference the kneading part if you were, doing this by hand you would do it for,you would need it for five minutes, for five minutes, okay y'all can see it is a good, beautiful dough it's not sticky it's,formed a ball,we're ready to take it out the next, thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna grease, this pan, remember I have a preheated oven at 400.,degrees,we'll set this aside,if y'all only knew what I went through,to make these videos so,if I can't edit it out you'll see it and,so we are making just a bowl and we are, going to cut this into 18 pieces so I'm,going to cut it in half first, that have to be exact,ly I'm just going to start cutting from, here, just in past shape until I get 18.,and we'll have to adjust to make the, size of the rolls, the approximately the same so I'm going,to start with one of the smaller ones, and all I'm going to do is I'm going to,fold this under and then roll it in a,ball so I'm just going to fold this, under and then roll it in a ball, and put it in the pan,and do the same thing to this just tuck, those ends under,it's really no,good what you know, perfect way to do this, now if I say that one is really small in,here see I didn't even do the ends there, but I will add some to it I'll take it,out and add some to it,and I do have some small ones,so I'm going to continue this, until I get them all done, such a smooth dough not sticky at all,I didn't add much flour to it,to roll it out now this is a big one so,I'm probably going to pinch some of that, off and add it to another one, really big one,a lot of people weigh these uh not, necessarily this roll recipe but um,rolls,so what I'm going to do now is I'm going,to put a piece of parchment paper I fell,in love with parchment paper y'all I,don't use it like a lot of people do,and then I'm going to,put a towel over this, and let it sit here for,um,probably about 10 minutes,I'll probably put it on the stove, because I've got my oven on it'll be,warm just let it rise about 10 minutes, all right let's see how these look after, they'

30 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS FOR TWO

30 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS FOR TWO

today we are making homemade yeast rolls,in,30 minutes don't believe me well set, your timers, join me in the kitchen as we make what, may become, your favorite roll of all time,hi i'm leanne from yourhomebasemom.com,and i have been making at these 30,minute rolls of four years, and so many of my blog readers have told,me once they make these, this is the only roll recipe they use, now, the original recipe which i am going to,link to down below, makes 12 rolls but today because we are,a reduce size family,we're gonna make four rolls now the, process is the same, but if you're making 12 rolls be sure, and use the measurements for ingredients, that are listed in the recipe down, below are you ready set those timers, our first step is to get our yeast, proofing and so we are, using a third of a cup plus one, tablespoon,of warm water now you want that water, temperature to between 105 to 115,degrees,it's a nice warm baby's bath temperature, and so we're going to take that and,we're going to take two teaspoons of dry, active yeast, add that in we're going to grab a spoon,or fork or something give it a little, swish, and then we're going to let it set for, five minutes so that's our first five, minutes of our 30 minutes, now to help this along i like to take a,plate put it over the top creates a nice, little warm environment, and let that raise or bubble, all right so while that yeast is,proofing we're going to make good use of,our time and we are going to get the, other ingredients, into our mixer now today i'm going to,use a stand mixer but you could totally, mix these up by hand,we are going to use a one cup of,all-purpose flour, plus three tablespoons i had two, tablespoons in there, that is the third tablespoon and then, just keep a little bit of extra flour on,hand because you may, need to add a little bit more in and and, then into that we are going to add,44 teaspoons of sugar,a half of a teaspoon of salt, one and a half tablespoons i am using, olive oil but you could also use canola, oil if you prefer, and then we are using one tablespoon of,beaten egg so i just beat up an egg and, measure out one tablespoon you can, there's about three tablespoons of egg,in a medium to large size egg save the, rest to throw into some scrambled eggs,or an omelet or something, but if you put the whole egg in your, rolls are going to taste too, eggy all right our yeast mixture is,already, nice and bubbly and we are going to add, that in,get sure make sure you get it all in,there, and then we are going to turn on our, mixer, and let this knead for a few minutes all, right there we go we're plugged in ready,to go,and you just want to mix this until it,all comes together pulls away from the, sides of the bowl, and it's a nice soft and smooth dough if,you find that your dough is a little too, sticky,go ahead and add a little bit more flour, and just do it a teaspoon at a time, just a little bit and if you found, you've added too much in you can always, add in just a little bit more water but,you want a nice, soft dough that is a little bit tacky, but it's still, totally manageable to handle we're going,to take our dough, and we're just going to add a little, flour to our counter and,we're going to then divide it into four, pieces i'm just going to use my little, bench scraper here you can get fancy and, weigh, out each one to make sure they're all,the same but,i just kind of eyeball it now i'm going,to use this little seven by five baking, dish it's a perfect little size for,a reduced-sized family i'll link to it,down below and i'm gonna go ahead and, just give it a light spray, then i'm gonna take each one of our, little dough balls and, form them into a ball now the way i like,to do that is i kind of just pull it out,a little bit,and then just do a little fold motion on,each side then the other two sides, and then just kind of tuck and form,a nice round little ball we're going to,put those, into our pan and then just repeat with, our other ones flatten them out, fold over the two sides then the other, sides, and form into a little round ball, right now we are going to let them rest, for about 10 minutes i'm going to cover, them,um if your house isn't really warm i,like to,turn the light on in my oven and put my,rolls in there to rise there's a nice, perfect temperature in there, just wait to preheat your oven but you,are going to want to preach, preheat your oven to 400 degrees, fahrenheit, and i'll see you back in 10 minutes been,10 minutes, and they're not gonna look like they've,raised a whole lot but that's okay, because they are gonna raise even more,as they bake,so we are ready to put them into our 400,degree oven for about,15 minutes just watch them you want to,be nice and golden brown, all right they are out of the oven they, are nice and golden brown, they smell amazing and we may be at just, slightly more than 30 minutes but come,on,what's another extra couple minutes when, you can have these amazing homemade, yeast rolls in,almost 30 minutes when they're out of,the oven i like to take some melted, butter just t

How to Make the BEST Homemade Rolls in 30 Minutes! (NO RISING!)

How to Make the BEST Homemade Rolls in 30 Minutes! (NO RISING!)

hey guys it's Camille from six sister, stuff comm and today I'm gonna be,sharing with you our 30 minute dinner, roll recipe so I'm gonna start with, about a cup of water hot water I,actually have a cup and 2 tablespoons, and then I've got 2 tablespoons of yeast, you heard that right 2 tablespoons which,is a lot but for this recipe it works, and then I'm also going to add a quarter, cup of sugar these really are a little, bit more of a sweet roll okay and the, last thing I'm gonna add is about 1/3,cup of vegetable oil and we're just, gonna mix this all together until it,kind of gets nice and bubbly, okay so now you're gonna let this sit,for about five minutes and you'll notice,it starts to get frothy and really, bubbly that's when you know it's ready, okay so it's been five minutes and if,you look in there it is all nice and, bubbly okay so the next few things that,we're gonna add is just a little bit of,salt I think I've got about half a,teaspoon and then add one egg which, isn't super typical of roll recipes but,for this one we need it out but kind of,rise and get fluffy okay so from here,we're gonna add flour so I'm gonna start, with two cups I'm gonna get the air out,so you want these to be nice and level, cups so kind of mix this dough and, you're just gonna watch it and see how,it comes together, still looking really doughy so I'm gonna,go ahead and just add I'm gonna go buy, half cups now, okay so if you look at this dough this, dough is perfect,so this dough is super sticky but I'm,gonna show you the trick that I use for, rolling these rolls into balls so what I,do is I actually just spray my hands, with some cooking spray kind of rub it,together, and then you can pull your dough out now,we'll make it so that doesn't stick to,your hands make a big mess so you can,see here's my dough what I'm gonna do is,I'm gonna separate it into twelve equal, portions now you're kind of gonna, eyeball it they're not all gonna be,exactly perfect, okay so cut it in half, added into fourths, and then I'm gonna cut each of these, into three this only makes 12 rolls so,it's perfect for like a small batch or,if you've got a smaller family you could, definitely freeze half of them and save, them for another day so there's my,twelve portions obviously you can kind,of take from some and add to others if,they're a little bit smaller make sure, that you spray your pan before you get, started basically all that I do is kind,of just tuck everything behind until I,get a nice round shape,so now you need to put these in a nice, warm spot and let them rise for about, ten minutes they don't have to double in,size because they're still gonna be,growing in the oven but let them rest, for about ten minutes then we're gonna, put them in the oven at 400 degrees and, cook them from anywhere from 10 to 12,minutes you just kind of want the tops,to be a little bit golden brown, okay it's the 30 minutes later and the, rolls are done when I serve these rolls,to my family I love to serve them with, butter some honey maybe some homemade, jams to get this recipe be sure to check, out six this your stuff calm

DIY Freezer Rolls (Make one, Freeze One 30 Min. Dinner Rolls)

DIY Freezer Rolls (Make one, Freeze One 30 Min. Dinner Rolls)

on today's episode I'm going to show you,how you can make some incredibly easy,DIY freezer rolls now you guys voted for, this recipe over on Instagram and I'm,super excited to show you how you can, take literally the world's easiest roll, recipe and turn it into a freezer roll, recipe quite easily in fact what we're,gonna do is we're gonna make one freeze, line which means we're gonna double the, recipe make some for tonight and use the, others to stock the freezer to use out, another time now really the best part, about making these freezer rolls is you,can actually make it with any recipe, that you like to use the recipe I'm,gonna show you today is my favorite,30-minute roll recipe okay so let's just, take a quick second to talk about why, being able to make your own freezer, rolls and having them in your freezer, pretty much all the time is one of the, smartest things you can do number one, freshly baked rolls pretty much amp up,any dinner you're making and when you're,pulling them out of the freezer you're,not using any extra energy or time or,cleaning up any extra mess to use it,you're just straight up supermom number, two taking an extra trip to the grocery, store to buy rolls is not that fun and, store rules are also pretty matte when,it comes to who knows when they bake, them or how long they've been sitting on,the shelf and third store rolls can also,be kind of pricey these rolls are three, dollars for only 12 rolls we're gonna, make 32 rolls and it's gonna cost us,under a dollar plus when you use freezer, rolls you can pull out the amount that, you need so if all you want are six, rolls you can plot exactly that amount, remember that scene from father of the, bride where Steve Barton's going a,little crazy over not being able to,match up the correct amount of buns to,hot dogs this will never be you and then,of course when you know how to make one, freeze one so you're being super, efficient with your time you're gonna, get all your ingredients out once clean,up the mess once but be able to have, rolls not only for tonight, but for multiple dinners in the future, okay so let me go ahead and show you how,we're gonna do this by doubling the, recipe and then making some and freezing, some for later now number one you're,always gonna want to start with a sink, full of soapy water that way we can, easily put our dirty dishes straight, into the sink and guess what your sink, now is doing all the cleaning for you, while you're busy finishing up the, recipe now the next thing you're gonna, want to do especially this is good, advice anytime you're doubling or,tripling your recipe is to write out the, amount so that you don't mess up halfway, through the recipe now if you have my,outsmart dinner meal planner this is,easy to do because they're in sheet, protectors so all you need is a dry, erase marker and you can write on the, side the doubled amounts and then wipe,it off when you're done now the next, thing you're gonna do is get out your, stand mixer with the need attachment in,place then you add in your warm water, now I just use tap water and make sure, that it's warm then add in the yeast, followed by the sugar because the yeast, loves to eat that sugar and you'll be,able to tell really quickly if your, yeast is working then you're gonna go,ahead and add in your oil and your eggs, now you add in your flour now my biggest, tip is to use bread flour because it's,gonna give you that texture that you, want soft and springy yet nice and chewy, and for a little bit healthier you can, always do half whole-wheat flour and, finally you're gonna add in that salt,it's always a good idea to add the salt,at the very end because salt and yeast, don't always get along now you're gonna,go ahead and knead your dough now here's,my next tip because I don't have time, for that double rise business what you,can do to get out of it is to knead your, dough for 10 to 12 minutes on a medium, speed and you should notice that the, dough is clearing the bowl meaning, you're don't have this sticky mess, behind if it's doing that you're good to,go if it is sticking you might want to,add a little more flour 1 to 2,tablespoons at a time until it,clearing the bowl now my trick for, knowing when your dough is just perfect,is that it should feel just like baby, cheeks soft and squishy but not sticky, after it's done kneading you're just, gonna let it rest for about five minutes, now for the batch you're making tonight, you're gonna want to go ahead and set, your oven for 375 degrees and you're,gonna want to prepare your countertop, now you could put flour on I kind of,think that can turn into a gummy mess so,instead one trick you can do is to spray,it with a nonstick cooking spray which,is a lot easier to clean then you're,going to go ahead and turn out your, dough onto your prepared surface and, you're gonna divide it in half one half, you can bake for tonight, the other half you can freeze now to,shape your rolls all you're gonna do is,keep pinching that dough in half half, and then half and then half again until,y

That looks perfect.,Now, we're gonna add four tablespoons,of warm, melted, unsalted butter.,Also, add the rest of your one-third cup of sugar, and one and a quarter teaspoons of salt.,Next, we're gonna add just under four cups,of all-purpose flour,,and make sure you measure that correctly.,I do have a video tutorial,on how we measure ingredients for baking,,and I will link that in the notes.,Add the flour just half a cup at a time, and whisk in to incorporate between each addition.,Once that's fully blended in,,add a little bit more flour and continue doing that, until it's too thick to whisk.,(funky music),I love starting my dough with a whisk, because it incorporates much faster, and speeds up the process,,but eventually, the dough will get too thick,,and we're gonna switch to the dough hook attachment.,If you don't have a stand mixer,,you absolutely can continue to blend this together, with a stiff spatula and then knead the dough by hand.,(funky music),I'm gonna set my mixer to speed two,,and continue adding that flour.,Scrape down your mixing bowl as needed,to help the flour incorporate evenly.,Add the last one to two tablespoons of flour, only if it's needed.,When the dough is done,,it should still feel sticky and tacky to the touch,,but if you have clean, dry fingers,,it should not stick to your fingertips.,If you see it is very sticky to your fingertips,,you can add one to two tablespoons of flour at a time, until you reach the right consistency.,Once the flour is all mixed in,,you want to knead that for another two minutes on speed two.,Because this dough is so soft and moist,,it will produce the fluffiest dinner rolls.,Now we're gonna let the dough rise.,Transfer it to a well-oiled large mixing bowl.,Cover that with plastic wrap, and let it rest and rise in a warm room, for about two hours or until the dough has doubled in size.,The dough will rise faster in a warmer environment,,so you can either use your oven or a microwave.,If using your oven, preheat to the lowest heat, for about two minutes, then turn the oven off,,and set the bowl of dough on a towel,,and let it proof in the warm oven for about two hours,,or you can place a damp kitchen towel into your microwave.,Heat that for a minute on high heat.,This'll create the perfect warm and moist environment, for the dough to rise.,Place the dough into the warm microwave,,shut the door, and let it rise for a couple of hours.,When it's done,,you'll see that the dough has doubled in size.,Now we're gonna divide the dough into individual rolls.,Lightly dust a clean and smooth work surface with flour.,Now, turn the dough out onto your floured surface.,Since the dough is sticky,,I find it's much easier to work with, after giving it a quick turn on a lightly dusted surface.,We're gonna turn this into 15 dinner rolls.,You can make 16 dinner rolls or 24,,depending on the pan size that you use.,We're using a 13-by-9 casserole dish,,which fits five across and three deep,,making 15 dinner rolls.,I find the easiest way to portion this is just to divide.,First, divide the dough into three even pieces.,Then divide each of those pieces into five even pieces.,I find it helps to score the dough before slicing,to see what your pieces will look like.,Once you have your dough pieces,,you're gonna roll them into balls.,You can either wrap your hand around the dough, and roll it on a clean work surface,,or you can roll it in the palm of your hand.,(funky music),My favorite way is to hug the dough, with my thumb and fingers, and then roll it in the palm of my hand.,You should get a smooth and even ball.,(funky music),Lightly oil a 9-by-13 casserole dish.,Then add your dinner rolls,so they're evenly spaced in the pan.,(funky music),Cover those with plastic wrap,,and we're gonna let those rise in a warm place, for about an hour or until they're visibly puffed.,We're gonna do our same warm microwave trick.,So put a damp towel in the microwave for a minute.,Then, put your casserole dish into the microwave,,close the door, and let them sit for about an hour.,When those are nearly
