hello and welcome to in the kitchen with,mats i am your host,matt taylor today i have another air,fryer recipe for you and i'm going to,show you how to make bacon and eggs,toast super easy to do in the airfryer,start to finish you're done in about 12,minutes it's a great snack to have,throughout the day or have it for,breakfast i love it i've been eating,this all the time recently super yummy,again super easy to do,i saw this on tick tock and i thought oh,that's super easy i got to do that,again real easy if i can do it you can,do it before we move on make sure to,subscribe to my channel and hit that,notification bell so you don't miss out,on any of my new videos let's get,started,down below in the description box you'll,find a list of the ingredients and their,amounts and you will need an air fryer,this is one by sakura i really like this,one i do have a review video on this,particular air fryer here on my channel,but pretty much any air fryer will work,for this so you don't necessarily have,to buy this one,okay and so what i'm going to do is i'm,going to begin by taking an egg,and i'm going to crack it and just,get out the egg and put that in this,little bowl it just makes it easier to,have more control you don't have to put,it in a bowl but it just makes it a,little easier,and then i have some,bacon here,long strips of bacon,and i got some pieces of bread my,favorite white bread,and you can use homemade bread,whatever you,want and then you take your air fryer,basket out if it's this style of air,fryer some of them um are more like,little mini ovens and you just put them,right in that's fine,and what i'll do is i'm going to take my,slices of bread and just put them right,in there there's no need to spray the,airfryer or anything like that,put those right in there and then we,will take,our nice strips of bacon here,i love bacon,and you want to make with,the bacon you want to make kind of like,a little nest,for that egg so the egg stays right in,the middle so just make it kind of like,kind of like that,and then that will hold the egg and then,we'll take the egg,and we will just pour it right there,in the middle,and then that should be contained,pretty much and if it spills over a,little bit that's okay,we do this other egg,and come in here right in,the basket,the bacon basket,you could do a little seasonings like,salt and pepper i usually don't do salt,just because bacon is pretty salty but,i'll do a little bit of pepper,and then into the airfryer the basket,goes,and then we set the temperature to 350,fahrenheit,and then we just turn it on for 10,minutes and that's it,and let it do its thing,and when the timer goes off you can take,it out,and look at that,nice golden brown toast with a basket of,bacon and egg in the middle,now depending on your bacon if it's,really thick you're going to want to,probably cook it like you'll form it in,like the basket and just put that by,itself in the basket and cook it for a,few minutes first just because if it's,really thick 10 minutes is not long,enough to cook it,cook it all the way and any longer than,10 minutes is a little bit too long to,cook the egg okay just keep that in mind,just depends on the type of bacon that,you're using,and that is just awesome,and now i'm going to just grab this you,can,usually won't be too hot but if it is,you can just use a,spatula to get it out there i normally,just grab it,and put it on my plate like that so,awesome i'm excited,and then feel free to eat these however,you want you can just pick them up and,eat them or you can use like a fork and,knife and eat them that way totally up,to you,once again my name is matt taylor this,has been another episode of in the,kitchen with matt thank you for joining,me as always if you have any questions,comments or requests put them down below,and i will get back to you as soon as i,can thumbs up down the corner push it,don't forget to subscribe to my channel,and check out my other videos take care,time for me to dive into this so yeah,take a bite out of this one,so good,now i want to cut into the yolk here,just to show you kind of what the yolk,looks like,i'm just going to cut kind of straight,through,and,there should be a little bit of a run to,that yolk,okay,awesome

hello everyone welcome back to my,channel i hope you all are doing good,today's recipe is air fried baked,eggs in a toast and this is two,different type i'm going to share one,where the yolk is firm and the other a,bull's eye on a toast so it's going to,be a runny yolk i'm going to share two,different timings and temperature used,here so please keep watching till the,end you do not miss any step here so,here i've taken a bread loaf applied,butter on both sides,now i'm taking a small round bowl like,this and making a,round shape on the bread,do it gently so you do not cut the bread,if we press it hard the breads that,round portion will come off,so do it gently now i'm using a spoon to,press that portion,place it on the bread similarly i'm,doing it on another bread loaf,apply butter on both side,so if you don't want that brown crispy,crunchy,bread crust you can,avoid adding butter on it but if you add,butter you will get the perfect golden,crisp and crunchy toast so here i'm,baking egg one egg at a time on each,bread loaf,next we add a pinch of salt,on both the bread loaf,we can add chili flakes or chili powder,then i'm going to add black pepper,sprinkle some black pepper chili powder,which is optional or you can actually,flakes,just sprinkle or you use a pinch of salt,pinch of black pepper,now i'm adding chili powder here,it's not spicy it just gives beautiful,color to the toast,now it's ready to be air fried i'm going,to set it at 385 degree fahrenheit for 7,minutes so if you do it for 7 minutes,the,yolk will be firm,so here you can see,it's very crunchy crispy,and the yolk is firm,i will show you,how it looks here here you can see the,yoke is not falling,you can enjoy this with avocado,are your favorite,dip so here i'm going to show you how it,looks,you can see,it's nicely firmed,everyone has their own taste and the way,they enjoy the eggs some like it runny,some like it like this so this is one of,my favorite way and my kid and husband,love this way a runny yolk so let's see,how to make this one,sprinkle salt black pepper,we air fry it at 385 degree fahrenheit,for 5 minutes and here you can see how,beautiful it looks it tastes super yum,and i'm going to show you how it looks,385 degree 5 minutes,to get this brown crusty look you have,to apply butter and if you don't it will,be white color so here you can see how,it looks,i hope you enjoyed this easy breakfast,recipe made in airfryer to see more,variety recipes please click on the,subscribe button and the bell icon next,to it so you will get a notification,thank you for visiting my channel i hope,to see you again in my next video till,then bye bye take care please feel free,to comment here in the video recipe and,what recipes more you would like to see,here in this channel see you again till,then bye bye take care

hi there and welcome today we are going,to be making and complete breakfast,using the airfryer the airfryer that I,will be using is the cooks essentials 5,point 3 quart normally to be honest I,would not fry eggs in the airfryer I,would just rely on the stovetop but I,know there's people out there because I,do get comments from time to time that,they are relying on their airfryer you,know their stove or oven broke or if,you're a college student and air fryers,are allowed in your dormitory you can,make a complete breakfast using the,airfryer so with that let's go ahead and,get started,I will be just using one potato today,since Jim is the only one that's going,to be eating this this is a medium size,it is an Idaho Potato then it takes my,potato peeler and peel this ok I'm back,my potato is peeled now I'm going to,take my grater and I'm going to start,shredding this up now I'm not going to,mess around letting this soak in cold,water to get the starch out if I were to,soak it in cold water I would have to,get cheesecloth or tea towel and strain,out all that excess water I'm not going,to mess with that if you want to do that,that is perfectly fine I'm all about,easy I think we'll be just fine without,doing that I'm going to take some olive,oil spray and spray my basket since I'm,just doing one medium potato I think,I'll make this into one big hash brown,move this to the side and I'm just going,to plop all this in here,then I'm going to flatten it out don't,want it to sick okay that looks good if,you wanted to you can bag some onion in,here I'm just gonna make this basic,today now I'm going to salt and pepper,okay we are ready to pop us in the,airfryer okay I've never done hashbrowns,in the airfryer before I'm going to,start out at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for,15 minutes we will check this about 10,minutes in or so okay we are only 5,minutes and I am going to do is I'm,gonna spray a little bit of duck fat on,this you don't need to do this that I'm,doing it for some extra flavor,it also use olive oil and whatever kind,of oil and you would light anyway our 10,minutes in gonna flip this over let's,pray that it does not stick excellent,it's already crisping up oh this is,might've taken much longer at all this,is looking good I'm just going to let,this go a little bit longer we have five,minutes left,I'm not sure I'm going to let it go that,long but I will certainly let you know,the total cooking time is okay we are a,total of 12 minutes in and these hash,browns are ready they are crispy I'm,gonna plate this up there are the hash,browns all plated up now I'm not going,to be able to take a bite for you,because I'm doing low carb but they are,nice and crispy all right I have my,frozen sausage links into the air fryer,basket let's go ahead and pop these in,okay I could either set this probably at,380 or 400 I think I'm gonna go with the,380 for 8 minutes,halfway through I will turn the sausage,links over I will let you know how long,these two okay,total of eight minutes for our sausage,links I did take a temperature to be,safe and they already pay for our eggs,you're going to need some sort of dish,that will fit into your air fryer and,that is also oven safe I'm going to be,using my handy dandy pizza pan I'm going,to take some oil spray which again I'm,going to use duck fat you can use,avocado oil olive oil whatever you,prefer I'm going to spray my Peaks a pan,just gonna crack my eggs right into the,pan when I broke the yolk and I'm gonna,have it do that one over a gosh darn it,okay let's try this again and one more,okay I have my eggs in here we are ready,to pop this into the air fryer we want,to put this in gently we don't want to,break them yolks again I have not done,this before I had the temperature set to,350 degrees I just put it on eight,minutes,I'm looking for more like an overeasy,egg if you like them more cooked do,longer time you're just gonna have to,I own it this is exactly what I'm,looking for,so overeasy took five minutes at 350,degrees and here is our breakfast all,done in the airfryer so there you go I,hope you enjoyed this video today and if,you are looking for more airfryer,recipes here's a few more you can check,out next and as always I wanna thank you,so much for watching and I hope to see,you next time

simple grab-and-go breakfast ideas made,in your airfryer coming right up,with seven of us still at home it can,feel like i'm in the kitchen all morning,long my hubby and kids are leaving the,house in shifts anywhere from 6 30 to 9,00 a.m but with a little planning ahead,i can provide them with a hot and hearty,breakfast that they can just grab and go,i've got five ideas for you you ready,let's go i'm gonna show you a few things,you can do the night before to speed up,those mornings and keep it simple you,can do this while you're making dinner,i've got these sausage strips from,johnsonville that i'm going to cook up,ahead of time this is not baking y'all i,am loving these sausage strips because,they cook up so nicely there's no,shrinkage they don't make my airfryer,smoke and they taste so good i'm sure,you've seen johnsonville products in,your local grocery store they are a,family-owned company they've been in,business since 1945.,and a special thank you to johnsonville,for sponsoring today's video i mean just,look at how great these whip up in the,air fryer you can cook these up in about,five or six minutes at 400 degrees and,look there's like hardly any grease,drippings and if you happen to have,leftovers they reheat so nicely so your,first grab-and-go idea i've just got a,frozen piece of healthy bread here i'm,gonna pop it right in my air fryer give,it just a tiny little mist,and toast it up 380 for three minutes,just use a spoon and scoop some avocado,into a bowl mush it up with a fork,throw in just a tiny bit of lime juice,lemon juice will work as well,toast is perfect spread on some avocado,top with some garden fresh tomatoes and,then throw on your sausage strips,that is my kind of breakfast idea number,two crunchy breakfast tortilla wrap you,can make up these eggs the night before,or the morning of cook it up in your,frying pan you basically just want like,four big chunks of scrambled eggs cut up,some of your sausage strips then get a,flour tortilla and just cut it right,there from the middle out to the edge,then place a portion of your eggs on one,quarter then some of the sausage on the,next quarter then a little pico or salsa,and some cheese now you're gonna fold,fold again and one more time now it's,ready for the air fryer give it a little,spray and then you're gonna cook it at,370 for about five minutes this is one,of those that the kids can come make for,themselves too and whoop there it is,crunchy breakfast tortilla wrap,breakfast crunchwrap i've only got one,to taste test so,who gets the first bite,you like that,i'm gonna try light you want more like,it,i want more,but i'll give it a four,five for me that's so good crunchwrap,for the win,idea number three you can turn these,sausage strips into these cute little,muffin cups you need one sausage strip,for each one of these little cups cut it,in half lengthwise and then cut out off,from about a third of the end,get a silicone muffin cup place one of,the longer strips right inside of it and,then layer up the strips inside so they,make a little cup when the cups are,fully lined place them in the airfryer,basket and throw a few little bread,cubes in each little cup,someone wants some breakfast and just,crack an egg right inside each little,cup it fits perfectly and the beautiful,thing about this is the sausage strips,are already cooked so you're really just,reheating them throw on some sea salt,add a little pepper and you're gonna pop,these in the air fryer cook these up at,340 for about 12 minutes by the way,johnsonville actually has four different,flavors of their sausage strips they,also have some spicy ones and chorizo,flavor i just stuck with the original,and the maple flavored because you know,i'm a little bit of a baby when it comes,to spiciness check out the different,flavors because you can easily change,the flavor profile on any of these ideas,and tada,there they are and look how nicely these,pop right out of those silicone cups,let's test these out one for the,birthday girl,one for the little lady wow you're quick,um,five out of five five five five,there we go idea number four hash brown,veggie and egg cups this time for the,base we're going to use these simply,potatoes,place them in your silicone muffin cups,and then just use a spoon or hey your,fingers will work too and you're going,to make a little nest with the hash,browns place those inside your airfryer,basket and just give them a light spray,go ahead and cook these up at 370 for,about six minutes till they get a little,toasty,now that those are a little toasty drop,in some of those sausage strips that you,cut up and the kids can throw in,whatever veggies they like or just leave,those out if you want you could even,throw some cheese in are you ready to rock the mornings with,your air fryer i got you,today i've got 10 different ways you can,whip up breakfast right in your airfryer,my name is kathy and i'm here to help,you actually use your air fryer these,airfryer breakfast ideas will hopefully,help mornings go just a little smoother,are you ready let's go this airfryer,breakfast bake is so fast and easy and i,can easily feed three to four of my kids,with this one batch preheat your air,fryer for about five minutes at 400,degrees and then pop in five to six of,your favorite chicken nuggets and ten or,so tater tots and this is what i'm using,today spread those out in an even layer,and then cook them for six minutes at,400 degrees and i'm saving time and just,pushing my steak button then you'll need,four eggs and about a quarter cup of,milk i always love to dump those right,into a two cup measuring cup just whisk,those together and then set that aside,when the nuggets and tater tots are done,i drop them onto a cutting board and,then just chop them up into bite-sized,pieces and then get any airfryer safe,dish today i'm using a 7-inch cake,barrel drop those into the pan and then,pour in your little egg mixture right,over the top carefully set it in your,air fryer and then set your air fryer to,350 for seven minutes it's looking so,good carefully stir everything up that's,gonna help scramble up the eggs and then,cook it for another five minutes at 350,degrees and check it out it's looking so,good i'm just gonna take a peek and make,sure it's cooked all the way through oh,yes it is now cheese sprinkle some,cheese on top i personally like a lot of,cheese pop it back into the air fryer,for one to two minutes that's gonna melt,your cheese and this one is so flipping,good y'all doing sausage and bacon in,the air fryer is so hands off it frees,up your stove for all your other,breakfast things and clean up is a,breeze i'm going to show you how to do,both of these and in the beginning i,would cut my bacon down and i didn't,want them touching but i found you know,obviously bacon shrinks so i just kind,of shimmy it in there and i'm gonna put,some sausage in here one common problem,with bacon and greasy foods in the air,fryer is that it smokes crazy there's,two different things you can do you can,put water at the bottom of the pan or i,usually grab the end of a bread loaf and,stick it underneath the basket to absorb,the grease,and then like i said there's that preset,button 320 for eight minutes,and then we can add on from there if we,need to so now depending on how thick,your bacon is it might be done or you,can just give it some more time you can,crank up the heat for more crispiness,i'm just gonna shuffle these guys around,and now i'm gonna crank it up to 370 for,five more minutes,and that my friends is how you do bacon,and sausage in the airfryer i'm just,gonna let this cool down and wipe it out,with paper towel i just made in the air,fryer yes ma'am,that's right,these are yummy eggs in a hole or eggs,in a basket i don't remember what we,called them but it was the very first,recipe i learned to cook when i was in,4-h forever ago my little munchkin here,represents all of my children they all,love it start with two pieces of nice,moist bread if you just use the cheap,white bread from the store it's gonna,dry out and taste like cardboard and,lightly spray both sides with some oil,or butter then you could use a cup or a,cookie cutter and just cut a hole from,the center of the bread you know this,recipe right then lay them down in your,air fryer right on top of parchment,paper then crack an egg and drop it,right into that cute little hole and,don't worry the parchment paper does a,pretty good job of keeping the egg from,leaking out then quickly top it with,some salt and pepper and today i'm gonna,throw on some fresh thyme oh my goodness,it makes it so wonderful then pop it in,the air fryer at 330 degrees for six to,seven minutes i've found closer to seven,minutes makes it easier to flip them and,just pull it out at that point in time,you can kind of hold the parchment paper,down and use the spatula to flip those,around most often i can do this without,any casualties here we go let's finish,cooking,at this point if you want them runny,just cook it for about two more minutes,if you like them a little bit more go,through go up to four or five minutes,more,all right,check it out,these look good,these eggs and hole were one of my,favorites as a child and i love them,today,homemade bagels in the airfryer you know,it start with just a cup of all-purpose,flour and then add two teaspoons of,baking powder not baking soda baking,powder and a quarter teaspoon of salt,whisk that together and then you'll need,just about a cup of plain greek yogurt i,just eyeballed it because i just had,these single serve yogurt cups on hand,and they're just over five ounces each,then mix it all up until the flour hello from seoul since you guys loved my,previous airfryer recipes i came with,another episode,after watching this video i'm pretty,sure your airfryer will become a magic,cooking pot,alright let's get started,the first one is egg toast as soon as,you hear the name of the dish i'm pretty,sure you can guess how easy it is you,will be needed,bread egg mayonnaise and condensed milk,since this condensed,milk is optional you don't have to worry,about it first of all spread some,condensed,milk on the bread if you don't have this,you can spread some mayonnaise and,sprinkle some sugar instead you don't,want to put sugar then you can also go,for cream cheese,i should use it too that sounds way,tastier if you want to feel rich i,suggest adding a slice of,ham on it just a slice of ham will make,you feel so rich,and then as if you're building a wall,squeeze a lot of mayonnaise along the,edges it should be quite thick because,we're going to crack an egg in it now,let's put an egg in the middle i'm,saying the proper size of the egg don't,even think about using an,ostrich egg or something okay add some,salt and pepper to season to make it,fancy at a very low cost,parsley flakes are necessary but not,enough you want to feel more rich then i,suggest setting some fresh basil,then you feel like you're having brunch,at a fancy restaurant let's put this in,the airfryer and cook at 180 degrees,celsius or 356 degrees fahrenheit i set,the timer for 8 minutes because i want,to show you the beautiful runny egg yolk,but if you don't want your egg to be,runny please cook it for 10 minutes,claire keeps,asking me when it's done i think she,already smells something delicious,alright it's done let's coat our taste,tester claire,wow i love the egg yolk in the middle it,makes me more hungry,mmm smells good i can't wait,ready,all the good flavors are in one piece of,bread,the next one is garlic bread which is,super easy to make you may think it's,too common or ordinary food but it will,be a whole different level you even need,baguettes unsalted butter condensed milk,egg and garlic speaking of bread it,doesn't have to be baguettes to be,honest,mine looks like baguettes but this is,not either i went to a bakery near my,place but they ran out of it so i just,picked up something similar,so as i always say just use what you,have no need to worry about it first,let's make garlic butter sauce put 5,tablespoons of melted unsalted butter 1,tbsp of sugar,two tablespoons of condensed milk three,tablespoons of minced,garlic one egg and mix it i forgot to,add some parsley flakes so let me put it,now for information depending on your,taste you can increase or decrease the,amount of minced garlic and this,condensed,milk will give a more chewy texture so,if you haven't tried this you should,give it a try,i'm sure you'll be impressed now spread,a lot of garlic butter,on the bread you can also use this kind,of bread then that's gonna be garlic,butter toast or something try it with,different types of bread,i'm sure you will love all of them,depending on the size of your airfryer,and what kind of bread you use the,cooking time can be slightly different,but if you cook at 180 degrees celsius,or 356 degrees fahrenheit for 6 to 10,minutes,i'm sure you can get this beautiful,garlic bread for information i did 6,minutes and 2 more minutes,ok let's see how it tastes clear,the outside is so crispy let me try it,on,this time i'm going to make frittata,with an airfryer anything can go in,frittata so you won't even need to go,grocery shopping,just use what you have in your fridge,i'm gonna use egg milk,onion tomato bacon and spinach if you,can get this spinach you can also use,other vegetables,and even the frozen ones will definitely,work if it's green,you'll be even better so no worries,first let's prep the ingredients chop,the onion into small pieces,you don't have onions but shallots then,you can go for it next,bacon please cut it into small pieces as,you can see i'm using bacon but you can,also use friends of bacon such as ham,salami sausage or something like that so,dig to the bottom of your fridge and,grab anything that works for you to make,frittata with an airfryer we need this,kind of nonstick pan that you can use in,an oven put some oil in the pan add the,chopped onions and bacon,and mix it now let's cook at 180 degrees,celsius or 356 degrees fahrenheit for 5,minutes,while the airfryer is working hard for,us let's crack 5 eggs into a mixing bowl,a 2 3 cup of,milk and a little bit of salt and pepper,fyi you don't have to put too much salt,in it because after this,we're going to cook it with the bacon,and the cheese so don't blame me if it,gets too salty i'm not responsible,now put one tablespoon of unsalted,butter and mix everything together once,the butter is completely melted pour the,egg mixture and put 1 3 cup of grated,cheese tomatoes and spinach,please cook at 150 degrees celsius for,302 degrees fahrenheit,for 20 did you just get an airfryer and you're,looking for a fun recipe to test out,well today we've got a beefed-up version,of the Scotch egg,Scotch egg is traditionally sausage,wrapped around a boiled egg but we're,changing things up by making our own,beef sausage and then wrapping a,soft-boiled egg,we then bread the egg and put it in the,airfryer rather than deep-frying it,we're always trying to create new,recipes and show some techniques that,are really accessible for the home cook,and we've noticed that air fryers are,becoming extremely popular so we decided,let's make a fun recipe around something,different they can go in the airfryer,something you would normally deep fry,but it takes a lot of the time and mess,out of it,for this recipe I've got a 90% lean,ground beef the reason I like this is,because when you mix in the seasonings,it has that texture and flavor profile,similar to what you look for in a,sausage but it's all beef sausage at,this point first step to this recipe is,boiling the eggs for 8 minutes then,shocking them in ice water to stop them,from cooking now that my water has come,to a rapid boil,I want to gently lower the eggs in this,is important because if you drop them in,too hard they'll crack and then some of,that white will start to ooze out and,now I'll set my timer for 8 minutes I,like eight minutes because the white is,fully set the yolk is still jammy but,not fully runny for people who get a,little freaked out by that so I think,it's a great texture for this recipe now,while that's cooking I'm gonna start,mixing up my beef and seasoning that,getting that ready to wrap the eggs,first thing I've got my mixing bowl I'll,go in with the beef and so here I have,ground sage kosher salt chili flakes,garlic powder onion powder and then some,black pepper,the sage really gives it that kind of,breakfast sausage taste which is,traditional in a Scotch egg so this I'll,just mix up by hand I'm gonna divide it,into four equal portions one for each,egg,the eggs have been cooking for exactly,eight minutes so I want to get them out,of the boiling water and into an ice,water bath the reason for this is,they're perfectly cooked as they are and,I want to chill them down as fast as,possible and I want to chill them down,to completely cold because after this,when they get wrapped in the beef and,then go in the air fryer they're gonna,cook a second time so I don't want them,to overcook on that second cook while,the eggs chill down I'm gonna start with,the meat and what I'm trying to do is,make a disc with kind of a divot in the,middle because that's where the egg is,gonna go so I want it thinnest here and,then this is what's gonna wrap around,the egg so I'll just start shaping this,into the disk shape and make it as thin,here as possible because you're not,gonna stretch that part of the meat out,very much and I'll do this with each of,these four portions and then put the egg,in and don't forget for more fun recipes,like this so many different things to bread,this like flamin hot cheetos cheese's or,a list of other things that we have here,except for that last one don't use that,know why they put that up there make,sure they're totally coated and flower,kind of dust off any excess flour keep,your flour hand dry this is important,you go into the Edit mixture coat it in,the egg and now into the panko now I'll,give it a spin and again use my dry hand,because if you mix your dry in your wet,hand you'll end up with club' flour and,breaded fingers which you don't need so,this is called the standard breading,procedure because you have your dry,element like the flour to pick up any,excess moisture on the surface of the,meat then you go into your egg wash,which is to create that binding agent so,now it's almost like battered and then,into your panko and the panko is what's,really gonna crisp up and give it that,crunchy exterior now that I've got,everything completely encased in this,breading a key step is spring like and subscribe,buttons let's get started let's first go,over all the ingredients you need to,make this recipe ground chicken,coleslaw mix,egg roll wrappers,green onions,ginger,garlic,sesame seed oil,soy sauce,and olive oil spray or just regular,olive oil is fine too and the one piece,of special cooking equipment you need,for this recipe is an air fryer,first thing we need to do is to mince up,two cloves of garlic,next we're going to mince up two,teaspoons of fresh ginger you could also,grate the ginger which is really nice by,grating it you're really going to make,it super emulsified and you can really,get it into such small pieces smaller,than you could with a knife but i think,for this recipe cutting it and mincing,it is totally fine one other thing i,want to tell you whenever i cut my,ginger i realize it's the perfect time,to make ginger tea so all you have to do,for that is just chop up some ginger,super rough like this drop it into a pot,of boiling water and then let it boil,for i don't know anywhere between like,five and ten minutes and then you just,strain out the chunks of the ginger and,you get this really amazing ginger tea,that is always delicious makes your,stomach feel good so try that one too,all right guys the next thing we're,gonna do is to chop up our green onion,i've got two green onions here and just,chop it into like regular sized pieces,alright guys so now we're going to saute,our ingredients here but first i want to,tell you about this new really cool,gadget that i got this is the brayville,control freak i believe is what it's,called it's basically an induction,burner this burner works really well,with my hex-clad pans because my hex-pad,pans work on an induction top so i'm,very lucky that that worked out if i,burn anything in this video forgive me,this is literally the first time using,it so let's see how it goes next thing,we're going to do is add a little bit of,vegetable oil into our pan just one,tablespoon is fine and we're going to,first saute our ginger and garlic,together now one really cool tip that i,learned not too long ago if you,start with cool olive oil so meaning,that you're putting the olive oil in a,pan that isn't too hot already you are,much less likely to burn your garlic and,now we're just gonna let this saute for,just about a minute minute and a half,until it's fragrant i kind of find it,funny that this device is called the,control freak because i feel like that,sums me up very nicely all right so the,next thing we're going to do guys is add,two cups of coleslaw mix,i'm just gonna do it by hand it's like,literally trying to measure this is,absurd so just try to measure two cups,roughly it doesn't have to be perfect,you don't have to use everything that,you cook and if you see like a big piece,like this probably good to break it up i,think that should be good that should be,about two cups,and now we're just gonna let this saute,in the garlic and ginger just for i,don't know a couple minutes three to,four minutes until the coleslaw mix has,softened one quick note about this,coleslaw mix that i bought i don't,usually buy like vegetables already cut,in plastic,but i do feel like this is one of those,times when it might be okay because the,effort that it takes to shred up cabbage,like this and also julienne these,carrots this thin,it's actually a lot of work if you're,doing it totally from scratch so in this,one instance it is okay in my opinion to,buy a pre-mixed already pre-cut,cabbage and carrots in a bag,if you're really short on time you might,have to so let's just let this saute,until it's all kind of softened and,cooked through just a little bit,all right guys so when the coleslaw has,started to wilt next thing you're going,to do is to add your protein of choice i,suggest you use ground chicken or ground,pork whichever one like you like,let's not put that in there whichever,one you like from a dietary perspective,each one is going to work totally well i,will say if you're going to be using,ground poultry so if you're going to be,using ground chicken or ground turkey,what i truly suggest very highly suggest,is that you do not use white meat only,and the reason for that is is that white,meat has a very low fat content,therefore it's going to come out a,little dry and that's not as nice for,this recipe you can if you want just,saying i highly suggest you use dark,poultry so dark round chicken or dark,ground turkey pork is also just like,probably the best thing ever it's got,the most flavor and it's probably the,most traditional in terms of an egg roll,so use pork if you love pork so i'm just,gonna break this up in the pan a little,bit as it's browning probably not going,to like truly brown like you would,normally brown like taco meat or,something because we've got
