Charles Parker,welcome to the show thanks for having me,Jeff always nice seeing you man today I,want to talk about breakfast and protein,and I think I heard somewhere a that,protein is brain food but what was,interesting to me is protein in the,morning it's kind of like a time,delivery it's a slow if you're taking,meds and you have like carbohydrates and,stuff like that it actually like a,time-release thing and it's really,beneficial can you speak to that well,the issue is that people really need to,know about as more of a clinical,experience that I've seen because I,can't tell you the exact science of what,goes on protein and then the gastric,juices and so on but I can tell you from,clinical experience that the people who,have the protein have fewer side-effects,to medication just a basic thing they,have fewer side effects really so if,somebody comes in and says I can't take,that medicine I said well did you have,breakfast,no I don't eat breakfast I mean so,pervasive Wow in stimulant medication,land is people don't eat breakfast it's,adolescents as adults is women its man,is not specific to any group the very,first question I'm going to ask is did,you have breakfast they say oh yeah well,I had a pop tart and in fact this white,talked about in my book you know if you,come by and we meet later on you tell me,you're eating pop-tarts for breakfast,don't tell me because I will give you a,lecture you know a partisan straight,carbohydrate thing you know so the issue,is but you get protein on board what,happens is helps you on a,neurophysiologic level because the,protein and there are Studies on this,I'm telling you I'm telling you straight,studies neurotransmitters come from,protein and you can see it they rise and,fall in a day so if you have good,neurotransmitters on board then you're,sending the medications in to collect,the neurotransmitters and then you're,going to have a better outcome that's,one thing but back to the original thing,that you and I were talking about if a,person doesn't take the protein in the,morning that medication is going to come,in,going to go immediately into their,system mm-hmm and when it comes into,their system they're going to have,gastric irritability they can have a,rush in their head and they I just can't,take this medication because that's,what's happening whereas if they just,took it with protein most of the time,not all the time most of the time it's,going to be much better and you know,it's interesting because when we talk,when you go out even you talk about,treatment start taking about medication,people think pills and I was ill a,couple years ago and at one point in,time the doctors walked in they said you,know food is going to be medication for,you you're gonna need to eat these for,certain reasons and it's interesting,because as you begin to describe this is,if you have ADHD and you're on stimulant,medications whether you like or not if,maybe you wake up in the morning not,really hungry but protein is as much a,part of medication in this process as,the actual stimulants in that context,that is a very key point Jeff you raised,a very key point because if you're,really not eating correctly mm-hmm then,you're not actually in a way,quote-unquote medicating yourself,correctly because the medications are,not going to work predictably they're,going to be unpredictable the person is,going to be a treatment failure they're,gonna be all upset and they're going to,come in and see me for a second opinion,there was just simply protein for,breakfast yep yep but I think it's,important again breakfast is important,protein is particularly important and so,with that thank you very much for coming,on the show thank you and I see ya,take care

which one you're gonna take well it's,been an entire year since I took that,first out of our pill and it's been,quite the journey I can tell you that,there's definitely been some ups and,downs and I've learned a whole bunch of,stuff about ADHD about adderall and,other medications about my body and I,definitely know some do's and don'ts now,first of all I consider the treatment a,resounding success I mean it's really,transformed my life when I think about,how I was before I started any kind of,treatment at all that includes adderall,and therapy by the way nowadays I'm less,flustered I'm less erratic I'm more,confident I just feel more in control of,my life now which is amazing so I want,to talk about what life was like before,the treatment first because I feel,that's kind of important so before I,started the treatment I was doing okay I,had got through school in college I had,gone to university and got a degree I,had started my own freelancing company,and I was also working as an assistant,manager and another job as well so I was,doing all right,also I thought when I really start to,think about all of those achievements,well I am really proud of myself for,doing all that it's easy to forget the,struggle that came with all that take,school for instance my attendance for,school was atrocious and when I was in,school I couldn't concentrate at all and,I was constantly being reprimanded or,sent out of classes for distracting,other students all of the time the truth,is I barely scraped through school I had,just enough grades to just make it to,college so at college it was a little,bit different because I was allowed to,take courses that I was actually,passionate about the problem is that,ADHD doesn't really care about what,you're passionate,because I cared so much about these,classes when I was in class sometimes,that hyper focus would just kick in and,then I would be like boom best student,in the class absolutely soaking up every,single ounce of information that comes,out of the class and I did really well,and then other days I was completely,non-existent like I just couldn't even,focus on what was going on,I just didn't participate I would just,kind of was a totally out of it and the,worst part was talking my teachers they,said the same thing over and over again,you know you've got so much potential,Christ you could do so well you just,need to listen you just need to try,harder and no it's not that he's he and,it sucks and all of you I bet can relate,to that it really sucks because you know,how much potential you have but you just,can't do it all the time and at that,point I was undiagnosed sort neither,myself nor my teachers had any inkling,that it was ADHD and I just thought that,that's who I was and they just thought,that I was lazy and that is a common,misconception with ADHD luckily one of,the really awesome things about ADHD is,I was able to hyper focus a couple of,days before my exams and I did pretty,well I mean I got enough grades to get,into the university that I really wanted,to go to so I was stoked,and after that all I could think was now,we're going to university this is all,gonna change I'm gonna be a different,person when I get there I'm gonna change,myself and be more focused now,University was no different either I,would have an entire month where I would,go to every single class and absolutely,nail it and do my assignments really,well and my teachers were really,impressed and then a month later I would,just be completely off the grid,I had this constant mantra running,through my head and it went like this,Chris don't worry about it it's fine you,have so much time to do everything you,always do so much better under pressure,you can cram a deadline last minute you,can pass your exams last minute you got,this man you can do this you thrive,under pressure and honestly like I,believe that this was real and I was,like going to classes last minute I was,not even turning up for some I was doing,my essays right before the deadline and,then that all culminated when I had to,do a ten thousand piece dissertation in,two nights yeah two nights I literally,remember screwing in across the campus,like 15 minutes before the cutoff,deadline and sliding it through that,slot and just being like yes now with,work I did pretty well I was always,promoted pretty soon in every job that I,was in and that's really part and parcel,because of hyper focus so when I first,got into a job you'd be so into it that,I would just be blasting through tasks,and doing everything as well and as,quickly as I could take in charge of,everything and that helped me to get,noticed pretty quickly the problem is,then the ADHD would creep in and I would,kind of either get super bored of the,job really quickly and want to move on,or organization is not a strength of,somebody with ADHD so I would just be,all over the place forgetting stuff but,luckily at that point I had people,working underneath me that would help me,out with that so I actually

what's up adhd crew you know it's just,dawned on me that roughly three years,ago i was first diagnosed with,inattentive diabetes hd and i was,prescribed these bad boys consider xl,or as it's called on this box zener date,xl and this is 36 milligrams,it's prolonged release methylphenidate,which is the proper name for it so this,stuff has been by my side for three,whole years now and boy it's been a hell,of a ride it's taken me through some,good times and equally some pretty rough,and bad times,so what i would say the highlights of,concerto are i consider it to be my,go-to day starter and it definitely,improves my sense of productivity and my,motivation to get going every day i,haven't been taking it every single day,of the last three years i mean there's,been times when i've had like a month or,two off just for a break i think it's,good to do that every now and again i,don't think that you need to be on it,every single day for the rest of your,life now and again it's totally cool,just to have little breaks here and,there just to give your central nervous,system a break i think that's pretty,smart there have been moments where i've,been on a slightly higher dose than i,should have been and the come-up was,definitely a bit too strong it did make,me feel anxious and irritable and it did,affect my moods negatively so if you're,going to try concerta definitely try to,find the sweet spot but it's like it,gets the cogs going in my brain it,starts to get all machinery loose and,working nicely so that's the way i kind,of describe the effect some of the best,times i've had on concerto has been when,i've just been super productive and i've,just like totally gone further than i,thought i ever could in completing,projects maybe for uni work or,just having to get up and go to do,things that i would not have been able,to do had i been off it i think in the,right dose it can make you feel more,competent and make you feel more,confident which is what you really want,but for me the worst times have been,when i've been up for like two days,straight because i took it maybe perhaps,too late in the day and i've had too,much stimulants like coffee with it as,well that's a bad idea so like if you're,gonna take it i would try to limit the,caffeine because it does definitely make,you very sensitive to caffeine and you,have to be smart about taking it because,it can interfere with your circadian,rhythm and there's a likely chance,you're going to interrupt your sleeping,schedule if you don't take it in the,proper dosage and you don't take it,early enough in the day so i have always,said take it in the morning but of,course it depends on what your schedule,is like because concerto takes about,eight to twelve hours to get out of your,system and i say it's probably more,towards 12 hours than eight it's helped,me to feel more in control of my life,and it's improved my confidence in,myself i think that now i do have this,feeling that i can actually achieve,things which i really struggled with,before so let's have a look inside the,box shall we let's unbox it,a bit of asmr,so i don't really know what it's going,to look like in different countries but,here in the uk we've got a little uh,white bottles like that so it's just,going to be one a day that's the dosage,for this and when you take it out,you have a little cylindrical pill with,a flat edge on it and it's got a slight,little indentation right through the,center there,so how this little thing works is that,it slowly increases the norepinephrine,and dopamine in the brain over a period,of extended time and you're gonna feel,the effects anywhere from about 45,minutes up to an hour and a half it,depends on if you've eaten or not if,you've taken an empty stomach you're,gonna feel it probably sooner at least,that's been my experience so if you ever,get prescribed concerto you can either,get them in 18 milligrams 27 milligrams,36 milligrams and 54. so it really is,depending on your severity of adhd and,how sensitive you are in general but,your psychiatrist or doctor will know,the right dose for you,usually on evaluation but if you have,any negative side effects you can either,increase the dosage if it's not working,for you perhaps,or if it's too much anxiety which you,might find that happened with me the,first time it was too much for me i was,on about 54 i think so when i first did,that it was just way too much and i just,felt completely,off the walls it was way too much so i,went right down to 18 and,now i'm on 36 so it's a happy medium for,me 36 now i've got a bit more experience,with the drug i can handle a bit more,and it works a bit better but it's not,overbearing now traditionally the old,concerto tablets that i used to have,looked slightly different to this one it,was more of a cylindrical,thicker tablet and i'm not sure if it's,the same mechanism with this one but,concerto traditionally works with three,components it's got the stimulant it has,a time release component and it has a,pus

hi guys and welcome back to my channel,so today we're going to be talking about,eating on adderall so my tips and tricks,for you guys because i know from,personal experience um,eating a natural sucks so eating an,adderall can actually make you really,really hate eating um i remember the,majority of the time when i first,started taking adderall i really really,genuinely hated eating and it took,literally every ounce of effort that i,had to get myself to eat so either,everything sounded disgusting or i would,have a safety food um and the safety,food would eventually sound disgusting,and then,there were other instances where,everything sounded really good and i,would be in the middle of eating and,then all of a sudden it would make me,want to throw up like that's it's it's,ridiculous how adderall makes you feel,about eating and there were even nights,where i was crying because i could not,get myself to eat i have a few tips and,tricks for you guys to hopefully help,you guys eat just a little bit more,because,having a certain amount of calories each,day is actually really important and i,can attest to that because when i wasn't,eating i gained like 30 pounds,and when i started eating more food i,actually lost weight so,that's kind of weird and each of these,points is going to be just a small,little tip that i have come up with that,either my friends know that my doctor,has given me or that i've come up with,for myself um to help you guys get more,food in during the day so,let's get into the video so my first,biggest tip for you guys is to eat a,meal before you take your medication so,usually with adderall you can take it i,think twice a day and you take it once,in the morning and once in the afternoon,so,try to get a decently sized meal in high,in protein before you take your,medication um that's going to help you,stay fuller for longer and it's also,going to help you get in a certain,amount of calories before you take your,medicine having a meal beforehand can be,a really big help number two find your,safety foods and hope that they last a,pretty decent amount of time so,a safety food is something that you are,willing to eat no matter what the,circumstances are so i know when i was,first eating on adderall my safety foods,were either hot dogs or sandwiches and,so i would always have stuff to make hot,dogs or sandwiches and then i would,write a list of things that i might eat,but if i wasn't feeling it or if i knew,that i was going to get grossed out by,it i only ate sandwiches and hot dogs,for me it wasn't even about getting in,like certain healthy types of food it,was just making sure that i was reaching,that certain amount of calories try to,find your safety foods but also hope,that your safety foods last a while,because there will be instances where,you will have a safety food for maybe a,week and then after that your safety,food is done like it's just as,disgusting as any of the other foods so,try to figure out what your safety foods,are and then once they're done try to,find another safety food as soon as you,can so that's going to help you out in,getting food that you actually are,willing to eat so this third option or,tip is gonna come with a precaution,because there are a lot of instances in,which people use this to create eating,disorders and i'm not saying that in the,slightest i know with eating on adderall,it's really easy to not get in enough,calories during the day so for me i know,that i was barely eating 1200 calories a,day and that's like the bare minimum for,literally every human being on this,planet and as a six one,woman who is muscular and works out,quite a bit,um i needed to have like 2 400 calories,at least a day and so i went to my,doctor and i talked to her about this,side note if you're taking adderall talk,to your doctor and see if they have any,tips for you as well but my doctor,recommended this calorie tracking app to,get a certain amount of calories each,day so my goal was to get around 2 400,calories so with that it's a precaution,you don't have to have a certain amount,of calories each day and if you go over,or if you're a little bit under then,that's fine like it's not a big deal but,just getting around that certain number,is like really great and it's a good,spot to start number four plan out your,food ahead of time so like i said with,the safety foods you can plan out your,different meals during the week and you,can buy that food and then once you buy,it you kind of have like a reason to eat,it but also,having those safety foods on the side as,well having planned those out as well,that's also going to help you a lot so,planning out your food and having a set,like a set schedule for your eating,habits is going to be really really,beneficial number five eat calorie dense,meals so a big help when it comes to,eating on adderall is getting meals that,are pretty high in calories especially,when you don't eat very many meals,during the day so i remember when i was,first starting on

two words life-changing okay today is my,first day on adderall,and wow is this how everybody feels,where you can just like sit down and,focus,on something because this is nuts so i,got adderall prescribed to me about two,weeks ago and since then,it's been a super eye-opening experience,so far i've seen a ton of positives in,the way that it affects my behavior,but i've also seen a few negatives that,i want to cover on here but luckily for,you i recorded the first five days i was,on it so you can see the process,of how i became addicted to it turn into,a zombie,became completely numbed out and left my,family and everything that i love but,before i get into talking about my first,week on adderall i have to preface it by,saying,i got adderall because i have adhd and,i've been diagnosed with adhd,so that is all in the context of this,being,completely for those medical purposes,there's a ton of negative effects it can,have on people that don't have adhd,that try adderall so that's it,so don't even so don't think about it,it's it's it's something that you most,likely shouldn't try,but anyways enough about that stuff,let's get right into it day,one okay so today is my first day on,adderall i just officially got,prescribed it yesterday uh so today is,my first day with it and i took it at 10,o'clock right now,it's 11 12 so it's been about an hour,and i feel a little,different um i think i'm noticing it i,feel a little bit more disciplined,maybe a little bit more focused my,heart's racing a little bit faster than,usual,but i think i do feel just a little bit,more like zoned in already,so it's funny already an hour into it i,can already start to feel a little bit,of the effects of,it um so it's going good so far and then,okay today is my first day on adderall,and,wow is this how everybody feels is this,what is this what humans feel like,where you can just like sit down and,focus on something because this,is nuts i'm a focusing machine but i'll,keep you posted,so i made that video when i was on the,way for meeting someone for lunch and up,until that point i think i had taken it,at about 9 9 30. before that point i,think like i mentioned i was really,zeroed in on what i was doing i think i,was editing,at the time and that whole morning i was,just able to concentrate and edit all,the way up until lunch and so i think i,went to lunch about 12-ish,and that's when i started feeling a,little weird so in case you're curious,we went to zupas and that's not even the,weirdest part,but anyways i was there getting lunch,with this person and i was having an,exciting conversation i was really,intrigued and everything that we were,talking about,and i could just feel my whole body just,being really tingly,this is what i am feeling just like i,had just downed two energy drinks or,something like that you know that,feeling that you get when your,hands are a little bit tingly and you,feel like you just have to do something,anyways it felt exactly like that,at lunch i was pretty talkative which i,normally am pretty talkative,because i'm an extrovert this time i was,very talkative and very just excited and,super into,what we were talking about and i just,felt like i had to keep going and,spitting things off and so i made a,video the next morning that i think,pretty accurately describes,what happened after lunch by the end of,it i ended up,crashing and i actually started feeling,really anxious,and pretty overwhelmed and that lasted,for like a couple hours actually,and so it was like yeah so it's really,uh interesting first day i'm not sure if,that's,common i obviously talk about this in,the clip that i just showed um,but it honestly really scared me and so,it scared me a,that i was worried that maybe i don't,actually have adhd kind of that imposter,syndrome kicking in,that may be because this was my,experience this first day that maybe i,don't actually have adhd and maybe,adderall is like,terrible for me and if i keep taking it,it's going to be like this every single,day,where i just have this crazy amount of,energy that i feel like i can't control,and then where it ends off with me just,feeling super anxious,the rest of the day and i thought it,would feel better because the jazz won,that night,and it was a super close game but even i,even still felt really just anxious,throughout the whole time and it took a,lot of my wife mia just kind of calming,me down and,helping me get perspective on things and,i think there's a couple reasons for why,i reacted to it like that the first day,for one thing i think my body just,wasn't used to having something in it,like that,that's what she said and the other thing,is i also wasn't,working that day i worked in the morning,but after lunch throughout that whole,time i was in a really big engaging,conversation and so i think i think i,just built up more and more of this,energy to where it just really,heightened it,instead of me just being by myself in my,office working on something,hopefully today is a little

This is What Happens When You Stop Eating (Day by Day)

You have decided to go on a hunger strike. You  vow not to eat a single thing for days or even  ,weeks if you can last that long. The worst part  is that as each day goes by, things will get  ,worse and worse. By the time you reach the end,  you will be a husk of the person you once were.,The day you stop eating.,You take your final bite of a delicious meal. This  will be the last food you will eat for weeks. The  ,food is broken down into small pieces in your  mouth by your teeth. Spit and saliva lubricate  ,the chewed-up food so that it’s easier for you  to consume. When you swallow, your throat muscles  ,expand and contract, pushing the food down into  your stomach. This process is called peristalsis  ,and is what allows you to swallow even if you are  upsidedown. Ironically it is also the process that  ,enables you to throw up when it’s done in reverse.  Once the food reaches your stomach, the acids in  ,it break down your food into its basic components,  one of the most important of which is glucose.,Glucose is the sugar molecule that your  body uses to produce energy. It’s arguably  ,the most important molecule you ingest while  eating. There are other important nutrients  ,and vitamins your body gets from your food,  but the main goal is to break down anything  ,you put into your mouth into glucose so that  the mitochondria in your cells can use it to  ,make energy. If this does not happen, you  will die. In the days to come, it will be  ,glucose that your body craves. Everything else  is inconsequential, as you will soon find out.,The food sitting in your stomach is torn  apart by the acid contained within it. Some  ,of the molecules diffuse through your stomach  lining and into your bloodstream. Others are  ,released into your intestines, where they will  travel through around 20 feet of tubes. It’s  ,here that the majority of the nutrients from  your food are absorbed into the bloodstream,  ,and the waste is carried to your bowels to be  pooped out. Digestion can take hours to complete,  ,which means once you stop eating, you will not  feel the effects of starvation for some time.,6 hours after you stop eating.,Your body has now broken down all of the food  from your last meal. Some of the nutrients are  ,still in your bloodstream but in lower numbers  than they were while your food was still being  ,digested. However, the glucose from that  meal is almost completely used up. This is  ,when your brain starts sending signals  to your body that make you feel hungry.  ,Hunger is your body telling you it needs  more glucose to make energy. Really it’s  ,just your brain’s way of tricking you into  eating more food so it can make more energy.  ,But since you’ve decided to stop eating  altogether, these signals go unanswered.,It is at this point you might start to become  irritable or what has become known as hangry. Many  ,people have a shift in their mood when they get  hungry. Your brain is signaling your stomach to  ,make hormones such as ghrelin which stimulates the  feelings of hunger. Ghrelin can also make you feel  ,anxious, which is one of the reasons you become  irritable and grouchy when you are hungry. After  ,several hours of not eating, people will not want  to be around you. You might have a short temper,  ,experience mood swings, and heightened emotions,  all because your body is craving more glucose.,1 day after you stop eating.,You wake up after a good night's sleep. Biological  changes have started to occur within your body.  ,The surprising thing is you may feel like  you have more energy now than you did the  ,day before. While you slept, your body tried  to conserve energy, and now that you’re awake,  ,it’s pulling whatever glucose is left out  of your bloodstream to keep your body going.,It has been a full 24 hours since your last meal,  which means your body quickly goes from feeling  ,good to sluggish and miserable. The energy you  conserved is slowly being sapped from you. You  ,drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated  because although you can survive for weeks without  ,food, you would be dead within days if you become  dehydrated. You have sworn off juices and soda,  ,so you will not be replenishing your glucose  supply that way, and although the water  ,quenches your thirst, it will never provide  you with the energy you need to stay alive.,You carry on and complete your daily activities.  That night as you look at your bed, it manifests  ,into a hot, juicy, cheeseburger right before your  eyes. It’s just your mind playing tricks on you  ,because you are so hungry, but it seems so real  at the time. This will become a common occurrence  ,as you drift in and out of consciousness in the  days to come. Not eating will begin to mess with  ,your mind in ways that you can’t possibly imagine,  and in the end, it might just make you go crazy.,Your hunger strike continues, and you  go to bed with a grumbling stomach and  ,a brain that is screaming at you to  eat something. Michael sang for the,oneness approach a lot of folks who have,been diagnosed with the system,consistent cluster called ADHD you know,end up at least trying medications and,often it's a stimulant I mean there are,many treatments for ADHD you know there,are thousands of books that are out,there and a lot of them have to do with,structuring up your life eating,correctly you're watching your sleep you,know and truly even using medications or,not the medications may help may help,raise nerve growth factors which then,can allow your your efforts to increase,the structure of your life so when you,have a problem in your life say hey how,can I structure that up you know say,that you know your mornings are lousy,and you're always kind of walking around,the days so you take your medication,you're awake but what you haven't done,is come up with a morning routine and so,you look at well what do I struggle with,you know when do i scent tend to lose,time so let me not include you know,looking on the computer to see what's,going on because I end up looking at,everything else let me just you know,here's why I'm gonna clean myself here's,what I'm going to kind of get everything,ready for the things that I have to take,to business or to school and then let me,get something to eat and take care of,the kids and go and then you just do,that over and over and over and so,literally the nerve growth factors rise,your efforts to increase structure in,your life not only help your life and,not only will it begin to work better,because you have their growth factor but,your your neurons and your brain say oh,that's the way we want to do it and they,grow so the best way to get off of,medications is to do those things that,we should all be doing literally ADHD,many of these symptoms of ADHD are are,normal particularly when we are tired or,when we feel overwhelmed and so like,commonly folks with ADHD will feel,overwhelmed but today let's hit real,briefly if you're on medications there,are some common times when the,medication will seem to stop working so,if you're put on a medication often it,will take some time to kick in,and so often what I'll have people do is,to you know wake up you know have the,alarm go off hit the snooze start the,medication take the medication and then,you wake up 30 minutes later their,morning routines go a lot better often a,person somewhere around 1 2 3 you know,kind of like loses it feels like they,crash feels like the medications aren't,working anymore a couple of things if,they're on just a single medication,especially short-acting some are between,11:00 in the morning so you take it at,8:00 11:00 in the morning and maybe two,or three it's going to stop working and,now not always but sometimes it can so,if you're seeing a slump between 1 & 2,are you on a medication are you taking,it only once a day so even longer term,medications you know in some people,don't last very long and so if your,krumping between 1 & 3 you know it's,either I'm not eating enough I'm not,drinking enough many people skip their,lunch don't drink anything so if you,don't eat correctly you don't drink well,you will slump right around that time,the second thing is what about if you,slump later on what if you slump like,say 4 to 6 time to come home from,whatever you're doing it can be a number,of things it can be that it's a major,shift transition if your life is not,well organized when you're going from,hyper focus down at work to coming home,that comas kinda like going up in your,life,seeing how complicated it becomes,overwhelming so you hit home overwhelmed,also again if you're not drinking you're,eating enough you know that quiet time,of day also if there are home problems,that aren't being addressed you know,that can happen but also particularly if,you're on a single longer-term,medication the longer term medications,tend to last only as far as functionally,goes until about 3 4 5 o'clock just the,time of their coming home or you're,coming home and so everything goes,making a handbasket you should read,things as I must not like this I must,not do that there must be something,wrong with me so know,student medications are are effective,many times especially when used with a,an overarching you know a view of your,life and you'll building and routines,and taking names you know but in every,single person they look a bit different,they don't work well if you're not,sleeping so a lot a couple people told,me hey you know this medicine started up,working I said well tell me about it and,they told me that they were staying up,all night only getting two or three,hours of sleeps that'll do it,not drinking water enough water not,eating and so particularly for those who,don't have a breakfast and then skip,lunch the medications aren't going to do,well one last thing you and you do a,certain task during the day your your,mind not only yours your by step like,you're working with you're doing curls,and they'll tire but your mind will ti

i just filmed a video that you've,already seen and it was the grocery haul,probably from a few weeks back now but i,had come back from the gym and i'm very,very much hyper and very much not even,hyper just my usual self just like oh,yeah on a high from going to the,supermarket and going to the gym and,very chatty a bunch of stuff i want to,do,but,today's the first day that i am,trying adhd medication and i literally,a minute ago just took the first tablet,and so i just thought i'd film what i'm,like before which is basically the,reference of that grocery haul video,basically i'm gonna document my thoughts,whilst i'm trying this for a week,to see if there's a change,or if it does help me,but already i'm feeling a bit weird not,gonna lie uh it's literally been what,maybe three minutes maybe five minutes,since i took it to kind of document the,fact that this is the first time i've,ever tried any sort of medication other,than paracetamol okay this is my first,day trying adhd medication blah blah,blah bing bang boss just documenting it,because i'm a youtuber now,okay it's been almost four it's been 45,minutes since i took my medication and,so far my mind feels exactly the same,however i have managed to book a course,that i've been trying to book for the,past few months and i'm now halfway,through booking a flight to berlin for,my birthday to go see my sister i just,say guys more and more i'm just thinking,the uk really is not the one it's just,not the one to be living in i swear,everything is just hard for no reason,morning,this is day two of trying adhd,medication yesterday i only had the one,tablet in the afternoon like i showed,you guys and i didn't have the one in,the evening again because i'm not sure,what that's for but i think actually i,should have had it because i think it,would help me go to sleep because i,couldn't actually sleep till one o'clock,in the morning with a really strange,feeling of not being tired at all like i,was wide awake so i started studying,which was weird for me i was like,studying but then also watching selling,sunset then i did finally go to sleep,and i got then i got up at half five so,i only got four and a half hours sleep,yesterday for the rest of the day i,definitely noticed that my appetite was,not the same you guys know me my,appetite is a bottomless pit so,yesterday i really,really didn't have appetite and i didn't,have cravings for like sweet stuff and,like just not like my usual so i didn't,have like the struggle that i usually,have with control which was really weird,feeling but this morning i got up at,half five like i said i did the kids,lunch and got breakfast ready and all,that then i took myself to the gym at,half six before having anything to eat,and before,having any medication because i read,that you should probably do your workout,before you take your medication because,it can raise your heart rate so i don't,want it to affect my training whatsoever,so i went to the gym did that came back,and i took the first pill uh an hour ago,which was half eight in the morning so,today will be the first day that i,actually tried taking it as it says on,the box basically in the morning at noon,and at night not just once or i'll see,how i feel anyway but that's the plan,yesterday i didn't feel like it did much,other than i noticed my appetite but,then i also did notice that i actually,managed to to think of something like i,always do i think but then i managed to,hold that thought for a while before,skipping onto,various thoughts or before going back,and forth,in my head does that make sense and i,also felt very positive yesterday and i,also felt less irritable you know when,the kids come home from school and i get,quite overwhelmed with that whole school,routine and the noise and everything,that didn't happen yesterday i felt like,i was way more pleasant to my family,about small things but this might be a,placebo so anyway i took it an hour ago,and this morning i felt like my usual,woke up with a billion thoughts but then,i took the pill at 8 30 and i've come,back and nine o'clock until half past,nine i've managed to film two videos not,youtube videos i've managed to film two,short form videos which for me has,always been a huge struggle the idea of,filming something as i'm getting ready,etc has always been like a big hoo-ha in,my head and sometimes that's why i never,get around to doing it when really with,my job one of the benefits is that i can,literally live my life and turn it into,work handler handling i'm so lucky and,so a lot of the times when i get ready i,should be filming that for getting ready,with me content but i don't because it's,too much to think about in my head when,realistically is quite a simple thing to,do especially if you already have your,setup and you've been doing this for,years like me suddenly the idea of okay,why don't i just film two tick tocks or,two instagram reels while i'm getting,ready wasn't a huge
