Bread Machine Cinnamon Bread

hey everybody welcome back to home life,365.,today i have another bread recipe for,you today we'll be doing a sweet, cinnamon bread and i hope you really, enjoy this one,i know i have a lot of bread recipes on,my channel and i just hope everyone, takes this opportunity to learn how to,make bread,so i will bring you in,for the countertop shot as we put the, bread together in the bread machine, okay i'm gonna start this recipe the, same way i start all of my,bread machine recipes, and,i know a lot of people have questioned,in the comments, and said that their bread machine, recipes always say to add the dry, ingredients first, and i've explained before,i do it this way with the liquid in the, bottom and the yeast and i do it this, way to make sure that my yeast is still, active,i'm going to start out with a cup of,milk and i have whole milk but you could, use two percent and i have a clean meat, thermometer i have microwave microwaved, the milk for about 40 seconds, and i hope you can see the meat, thermometer there, looks like it's registering right at,100.8 degrees,101.5 when i stir it that'll be perfect, you do not want your milk,or water when using yeast to be over 110,that can kill the yeast, and pour this straight into the pan, ideally your, milk or water temperature will be,above 90 to 95 and under 110.,that was cold milk out of the, refrigerator i just put it in the, microwave for about 40 seconds and that, got it right up to temp, now this recipe is going to call for, half a cup of sugar so i have already, measured out a half a cup of sugar, but i don't want to put all of that, sugar,in to make sure my yeast is active i,only want some so i'm going to add about,a tablespoon, out of the half cup measure, into my milk, now save that sugar because that will be,what you add later when you add the, flour and other ingredients, this recipe calls for two teaspoons of,yeast so i'm using the flash mints, active dry yeast, and i'm gonna put two teaspoons right in,on top of the milk, just spread it around some, now i'm going to close the lid on my,bread machine and i'm going to come back,in about 10 minutes, and hopefully it will be a little bit, foamy a little bit bubbly,i am just going to kind of mix that in,just a little to make sure that yeast is,down in the milk,so i will close the machine and i'll be,back with you in about 10 minutes and, hopefully our yeast will be activated, okay it's been about 10 minutes and i'm,just gonna take a peek, all right, and i hope you can see that on the, camera that the yeast is foamy and that, little bit of sugar made them happy, happy and they are good and alive,so the next thing i want to do is add,the rest of my wet ingredients before i,add my dry,so i will start, with an egg the recipe calls for one, whole egg,and i'm just going to,crack it into a separate bowl, always crack your eggs into a separate, bowl just to make sure that they're good, and there's nothing icky,i'm just going to give this a little, whisk to make sure it's,broke up and a little bit mixed,i'm going to pour that right in,i'm also going to add to this a teaspoon,of vanilla extract, and this is my homemade vanilla, extract if you've never made vanilla, extract it's really easy if you just, take vanilla beans, and you can put them in a mason jar i,don't know if you can see in there,i split the vanilla beans, drop them in the jar and then you can, fill the jar with vodka or spiced rum or,a combination of both, and i keep it in a dark, cabinet where it's cool, and i shake it a couple of times a week, for the first couple of months and it,makes a really good rich vanilla as you,use it you can just top it back off, with the, alcohol you used in the original, now i've got all the wet ingredients, added in so i'm going to start with my,dry ingredients, now keep in mind no matter, how you make your bread whether you put,the liquid on the bottom or the liquid,on the top you always want to separate, your yeast from your salt,so since my yeast is in here already i'm,going to add all of my other dry, ingredients before i add in the salt and,i'm going to put the salt on the very, top to keep it separated salt can kill, yeast so that's the only thing you, really have to be really careful about, and if you do it the opposite way, where your dry ingredients are on the, bottom, then you want to be sure to put your, yeast on top with the, liquids,i'm going to add to this three and a,half cups of bread flour which i already, have measured out here,so i'm just going to,put this in,i also want to add to this the half cup, sugar that i removed a tablespoon from, and i'm just going to put that right in,i'm also going to add one and a quarter, teaspoon of cinnamon,so this is a half teaspoon so i'm gonna,do,two, full and then one, that's about half,so that's one and a quarter teaspoons of,cinnamon,i'm going to add a teaspoon of sugar, just plain white table sugar, and that's what i wanted to keep, separate from the yeast so you can see, that the flour created a barrier to,where the salt didn't go straight into, the yeas

Super EASY (Bread Machine) Cinnamon Rolls

Super EASY (Bread Machine) Cinnamon Rolls

who wants cinnamon rolls, and who wants easy cinnamon rolls that's,really the question,so i'm excited to say that i have, well i'm just going to be honest i have,a recipe i've used every single year for, cinnamon rolls, this year i was rushing and making a,whole bunch of cookies all day and tried,to squeeze in cinnamon rolls, and my recipe is a really big batch so,you're working with eight cups of flour,at a time, like a quart of milk i have no idea what,i did but i ruined it,ruined it ruined it ruined it so,i said you know what nail's a perfect, time let's see if,is there a bread machine cinnamon roll, dough recipe i can find and guys i'm,already going to tell you hold on just a,sec, there is this is them they are, divine so i'm gonna scratch my old, recipe, because you guys know how much i love my,bread machine, especially this time of year when, there's just so much busy, going on cleaning house for guests, wrapping presents, christmases in three days i don't,have hours to just hang out,and make from from scratch, stirring big batches of dough so,ready it's so simple and it's really, really good,so come on over here to my trusty old, bread machine, and we'll throw everything together so,like i said, super simple in this i have a quarter, cup of melted butter and a quarter cup,of water, and the pie goes,oh i'm spilling takes one cup of whole, milk, one egg,i guess it would help if i put this on,it,oh geez, okay, all right we're gonna add, about a teaspoon or so or sugar, probably half a teaspoon of salt,um let's add four cups, this is just general all-purpose flour,if you have bread flour you could, certainly use that,i am not i'm just using,all-purpose flour, here's the magic i guess it is anyway,a box of instant vanilla pudding, just get that in there make a little, well for a yeast, and i have about .26 or so,ounces of active yeast, dough cycle, how simple was that so this is going to,go,my dough cycle was an hour and 30,minutes,and the filling is super easy it rolls, out really nice, and i just needed to share this with you,so if you're looking for that, last minute christmas morning, mama's got stockings to stuff let's get, some quick and easy cinnamon rolls on,the table, this is a good one for you so see you, guys back in about an hour and a half,we'll roll this out,and get them prepped i'm back guys and,the bread, dough is beautiful nice, and risen so first we're going to get, together, our cinnamon sugar filling, and this is the first time the last, recipe i used it was just, straight white sugar and, cinnamon this one is brown sugar and, cinnamon, and honestly after eating them i don't,know that it's that big of a difference, other than maybe it,doesn't get quite as runny,so it really holds to the dough really, well,so that's one good thing so you need a,cup,of brown sugar, and four teaspoons of cinnamon, don't look at my teaspoons because i i,like,a lot of cinnamon so it is tied so we,will be,have be using four generous teaspoons, all right and mix that all together and, that's it for the, sugar cinnamon sugar filling, all righty set that aside we're going to,get our, bread dough rolled out and you're going,to roll it about,i would say somewhere between 11,inches by 17 inches, all righty next, one um half cup of butter, and you're just gonna spread this this, butter has been sitting out on the, counter so it's nice and softened, and we're just going to spread this over, the dough, honestly it just doesn't get much, simpler than that, all total hands-on time what guys maybe,10 minutes,it's just the easiest cinnamon roll, recipe and your guest will just be,amazed by,it and hang on till the very end because,i'm going to share the icing recipe with, you too,and then we're just sprinkling on the, brown sugar cinnamon mixture, and i'll go wash my hands real good and,we'll get it nice and tightly rolled up,i do give it a pet down into the butter, just so it holds while i roll, let me wash my hands and i'll be right, back so when you roll them up you want,to,just go take your time at least at the, beginning to get a nice and tight roll, and you do want to try to keep a really, good tight roll you're,the whole way through so i just take,my time to start with, until i get it going, don't unroll stay, and then i kind of just pull those ends, down, and kind of try to make it fit,all right and then you're going to cut, them in,one inch pieces,so i can pull it down here so i can, measure,so,another tip can you guys see this yep so,see i'm going to turn that, that seam side to the edge of the pan, just to try to help it hold a little bit,all right so nine cinnamon rolls in a,pan,i think last time i got just right at,three pans,so this pan um just has enough for five, cinnamon rolls and,if you don't know they will not rise, properly,up they'll kind of want to spread so i'm,just using some, upside down silicone muffin tins to try, and, try to kind of fake them that there's,cinnamon rolls there,so i have the bread um oven set on proof,i'm gonna stick these in for about 45,minutes till they're rised about doub

Bread Machine Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Bread Machine Apple Cinnamon Rolls

hi today I'll be doing a cooking, demonstration we will be making apple, cinnamon rolls with the bread machine, there are two parts to this recipe for,the first part will be using sugar flour, milk salt bread machine Eve's butter and, eggs so when using a bread machine, liquid ingredients go first your dry, ingredients go second and your last, comes the east when you're pouring in,your leek liquid ingredients they need,to be warm to room temperature here's,our milk we needed 1 cup of milk and it,goes here we have the 2 eggs we need for,the recipe they are both at room, temperature here we have 1/3 cup of,butter we need 1/2 cup of sugar and 4,and 1/2 cups of bread flour,oh my gosh I got three four and a half, the next step is to pouring the salt and,two and a half teaspoons of yeast and, lastly the yeast so the next step we,will do is put in the bread and sheet, and put on whichever number your dough, cycle is this is the set that concludes, the first part of this recipe for the, second part of this recipe we will need, cinnamon apples butter brown sugar and a,little bit of flour you'll need two cups,of diced apples, you know you one cup of brown sugar and, then two and a half tablespoons of,cinnamon now you want to pack your brown, sugar you don't want loose you don't,have a half I've added the 1/3 cup of,butter it's and cinnamon and brown sugar,we're just go stir it you want it to be,a little clumpy but not too much like, this is too much bumpy too much we're,just going to squish the soft and bublik, butter down,so the apples are the main thing and, then the brown sugar just kind of coats, them so this is a day we have from our, earlier step I put it onto a floured, surface what we're going to do now is,you're going to put a little bit of,flour and you're just gonna roll it out, flat you want to look kind of like a,rectangle once it's done see I needed, more flour this dog needs a lot a lot of,flour in order for you to move over it,to where you want I personally put my,dough in the fridge so that it would be,easier and it would shrink back into its, original size,so you went look like a rectangle this,is not looking like a rectangle yet but,you want it to be about maybe 1/4 of an,inch thick all the way around definitely, want it even all the sides should be,around the same thickness you want it to,be consistent so,see house okay so when I roll it it goes, back and wants to go back into its, original size so when you cheerleader, that kind of helps with that effect, because if I wouldn't have chilled it it,would already shrunk back to its, original size and that would be good and, then put it on top of the stove and this,is what it should look like when you are, finished for the next step this whole, thing so we're just gonna kind of fold,it over and over again you want to make, sure the sides are kind of equal and, you're just gonna keep rolling see right, here I didn't put enough flour down in,this area so the dough sticking you, don't want that to happen, make sure you flour your whole surface, and we're gonna roll it,you want to make it kind of like a Swiss, roll you want to be even on all sides, and for the last part we're just going,to take it and we're going to try to,seal it with our hands and that is the,end of the stuff so I have my grace not,by 13 pan right here and what I'm gonna,do is I'm just gonna cut each section of,the cinnamon and to about an inch I have, the oven preheated to 400 degrees and, singing one to strangle in the oven this,is the finished product of the apple, cinnamon rolls we're going to look, inside you can see the little chunks the,app right here and right here, three summarize those steps the first, thing you're gonna do is put your, ingredients into the bread machine, you're gonna do your liquid ingredients, first drop in your East the second step,is filling the dirty cycle third step is,to mix up the apples and cinnamon and,the brown sugar together fourth step is,to take out the dough rolled out into, nice big rectangle then you kind of pour, the Alfa's and cinnamon onto it so fifth, step is you wrap it up and chop it and,put in a grease not my 13 pan and bake,it in the oven at 400 for 25 minutes, this sums up my presentation thank you,for listening

Cinnamon Raisin Bread - Cuisinart Bread Machine

Cinnamon Raisin Bread - Cuisinart Bread Machine

all right, welcome back today i'm going to be,making a cinnamon raisin bread, unlike the cinnamon swirl bread i've,done before, this one doesn't involve any rolling or,anything it's just going to be,straightened machine, tastes just as good so we're going to,start out,by putting in our liquid ingredients,we're going to start out with our, buttermilk and i'm using buttermilk, instead of milk, just because of texture and flavor but, feel free to use, milk our softened butter, again just room temperature, honey, and i just use a regular store-bought,honey from costco,so you don't need to use anything fancy, light brown sugar, room temperature egg just one, salt, our ground cinnamon, and then we're going to be adding our, bread flour or you can use all purpose,if you don't have, bread flour it'll work just just fine, and our last ingredient the active dry, yeast,we're going to hold on to our raisins, five minutes before the kneading cycle,is done the last kneading cycle we're,going to add that in,so you just got to check your book to,see on your particular machine, when the kneading cycle is done so you,can kind of watch out for it,we're going to be using our sweet cycle,on this, particular cuisinart it's number five, and it's a two pound loaf so make sure, that you uh,and i'm sorry the one and a half pound, loaf uh and then we're gonna go ahead, and choose a light crust, and we'll go ahead and get that started, all right so on my particular machine, there's an alarm that tells you when to,add in so i'm gonna go ahead and add in,my one cup of raisins if you don't have,an,add-in alert you just got to do it five, minutes before, your kneading's done and so i'll go,ahead, and it's gonna start back up and we'll,be back a little bit, thank you all right so it went off uh,the bread's done,i let it cool for about 10 minutes or so,and i'm going to go ahead and get that, first slice,it smells fantastic you can smell a,little bit of the cinnamon and, definitely the raisins,uh this is you're gonna enjoy this so,much,i mean you can see the raisins, throughout it's really fluffy that, buttermilk makes a huge difference when, you're,making your lows it really does make it,a lot fluffier and, airier all right so i'm going to try, this out, with a little bit of butter, and some strawberry jam which is my,favorite, and we'll see how this is just a little, bit, mmm fantastic, you'll love this with breakfast coffee, dessert you can taste everything in,there,a little bit of the cinnamon the raisins, you throw some butter and jam on top,it's fantastic enjoy

Easy bread machine cinnamon raisin swirl bread

Easy bread machine cinnamon raisin swirl bread

hey guys, welcome back for another video today,we're going to be using the bread, machine and we're going to be doing some, cinnamon and fruit toasting life so,in the bread machine the bucket i,suppose,in here i've got some strong white bread, flour,i've got some canadian flour at the, minute but any bread flour will do,and it's 460 grams,of flour that goes into there, then,we need a half cup,of raisins it says i've got always, putting more, you can never have too many raisins, then it wants,in the shots it's nighttime so the, lighting's a bit,two eggs i don't bother to,mix them up,in this jug right here, you can see at the bottom and the top,we've got,237 ml,of milk 4 tablespoons of butter, and three tablespoons of honey what i'm,going to do is pop this into the, microwave long enough to melt the butter, but you don't want it too hot if it's,above 110 it's going to kill the yeast, that goes in so i'm just gonna pop this, into the microwave for one minute, all right so while that's in there, melting, what this recipe will make is two,one pound loaf tins these are great, for freezing froze no end of these,my kids love these so they don't get, frozen anyway both of them will get, eaten,um we'll be putting in,some high activity, instant dry yeast,a teaspoon of mixed spice, and one teaspoon of salt i like the pink, himalayan salt,so that's what we'll go into it just, gotta wait now on the, milk which shouldn't take more than a,minute literally, there we go,so,shouldn't you see anything there we go,the butter is melted it went in for one, minute obviously it's going to depend on,how, how i don't know what this word for it,what wattage your microwave is,this is how fast it gets that done mine,is quite high,so it does tend to,get up to heat pretty quick, that's not too hot that should be,absolutely fine,so i'm going to pour that on that side, just mix them, pull that into that side, this is so easy guys honestly so,you want, that's it you know i put it in that, corner because i don't want it,to go next,i'm gonna put yeah i think i'm gonna go,half a teaspoon of,the mixed spice my youngest is not too, keen on this one, because we will be adding cinnamon later,on,and the yeast,is two and a quarter teaspoons,of instantly, over this side one,and i think i'm literally just cutting, off, that was lucky i guess i should have, checked before, anyway so we've got the milk in there, the butter melted obviously in the milk, and the honey i just put the yeast in,the, flour was already in i'll put a teaspoon,of salt, there's two eggs in there and a half a,cup plus,my usual extra of raisins, this mixture you have to do nothing else, too except sick, stick it into your blood machine put it,onto, the dough cycle and let it do its, business that is it,you just let it do its business and then,we'll come to the next part, where i'll show you how to roll,it out do the second rise okay i'll see,you shortly, okay so the bread machine, has done its business it's all ready to,go,i'm just gonna empty it out now onto the, flower, any left in the machine just throw your, hands and go around and collect it,every batch is different sometimes it,just slides out in one go,well there's it's a little bit wetter,no two packs of flour are the same so,bear that in mind some absorb, but liquids better than others so,that's out, what i'm gonna do put some flour on the, top,so this doesn't need to be needed,i'm doing just trying to make it less, sticky, and all i'm going to do is just,i can't recommend these highly enough, guys, for a lot of things i'm just going to,take one half, okay so plenty of i'll show it on sticky, work top,and move it out the way i mean this, dough is so,soft to touch it,it's just great,so but two tins, here one pound of tins they've been, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, and floured, ready, here is some butter, two tablespoons melted, here is a quarter cups soft light brown, sugar, two tablespoons of ground cinnamon mixed, together,so all i'm going to do make sure i've,got another flour down, because these are so soft, any escapee pieces just pop them back in,this does not have to be perfect guys, don't stress, about oh it's got to be the right shape,it's got the right size,it hasn't got to be the right anything,so you just want basically,to run out that way, isn't that lit it's as easy as that guys,i'm just gonna spread some butter on it,this is what's gonna help the sugar, stick to this,it's especially handy when you're,rolling it if you don't add butter it,just, tends to start spilling out,so you can see it's not that much butter, then i'm gonna take some of this, you don't have to stick to the, measurements that i've given you if you, want oh,there's one lump on the floor,if you want more cinnamon more brown, sugar go for it,you know add some dried fruits in here,on top of the, raisins go for it just put in whatever, you like,so that's all i've done there now all,i'm going to do,is fold it over hopefully it's not going,to stick up,on me,stretch this out a bit, tuck under the ends, put the last bit that you've r

How to make cinnamon bread in Hamilton Beach Breadmaker

How to make cinnamon bread in Hamilton Beach Breadmaker

hi everybody well today I'm going to,show you how to make a two pound, cinnamon loaf using the Hamilton Beach, bread machine my bread machine came with,a bread pan two paddles and a recipe, book to do the two pound loaf you need, the one bread pan and of course one, paddle and your recipe so this is the, recipe here if you want to learn how to,make this bread please stay tuned, okay so I have portioned out my,ingredients according to the recipe now,if you are new to using the Hamilton,Beach bread machine you must first put,in your puddle before you do anything, else, right first step is to put in your, paddle know before you bake the bread, you must do it in three steps ready to,come out properly and according to the, manual the first step is that you must, add all your liquids then you add your, solids and the last step is to add the, yeast so our first step we are going to,do is add all our liquids so the recipe, calls for one and a half cups of water,so I have already portion at all so I'm,just going to add that now one and a,half cups of water we are doing all our, liquids first and then the other part of,the recipe calls for three tablespoons,of butter or vegetable oil,I always make all my breads using, healthy oils so in this case I have used, canola oil I normally make the bread, using canola oil or olive oil so in this, case I am using three tablespoons of,Jay's canola oil so you are there to,your liquid, now the ingredient list will be added to,the description box below so I was s3,them and then you can look in the, description link below to get the, ingredient list as to what to put in it,alright after you've added your liquids, our next step will be let me just move, this out of the way your next step will, now be adding all the solid ingredients, now one thing to note is that I get a,smooth bread when I add them in the, corners of the pan if you just mix them,up sometimes it makes up on the dole mix, well so what I do I am I push not, everything and then I put them in the, corners of the pan and then add the flow,on the yeast last so the next thing on,our list is 2 teaspoons of salt so salt,2 teaspoons of salt I add it to the, corner right 2 teaspoons of salt here at,me I have to add this and use the camera,at the same time and then we have a,quarter cup of sugar,so quarter cup of sugar I'm gonna add, that in the next quality right then the, recipe calls or 2 teaspoons of cinnamon,so we have 2 teaspoons of cinnamon I'm,going to put this in another corner and, milk 2 tablespoons of dry nonfat milk so,this is mine now one good thing is that,I always use low-fat milk I try to get, things as healthy as much as possible so,I put that so if you notice I have added, them to the four corners you see it's,four corners in the pan right and now we,are going to add the flour, all my mixing bowls I use so I have to,use my ice-cream bucket so we're gonna, add the flour now this is four cups of,flour here,of course the 1.5 pound loaf is going to,call for a different amount of flour but, this is a coupon loop that I'm making,it's challenging to hold this and the, camera at the same time it's gonna I'll,get in there you can see it right so,that's that I've added in the flour and,we have to pretend in the yeast last so,normally when you're going to put in the, yeast the manual tells you to make a,little hole in the center of the pickup,of the flour so I'm going to do that now,so making a little hole right here, because the yeast is not supposed to,come into contact with any of your, liquids or yes any of your liquids so,I'm here the mound so you see the mound, right there you put the using outlet, amount, right and basically that's what you do,when you come to your ingredients now, gonna take this over to the bread, machine so give me one minute and then,I'll be right back, one thing to note when you're using, these bread machines they wobble so you, normally have to put this on a flat, surface and put it in a little bit so,that it gives it enough room for it to,wiggle so it wouldn't fall off the, counter and fall on the ground because, you don't want that happening so I've,now put the bread pan inside of the, machine and show that when you put your, bread pan in the machine that you lock,it so we lock it by normally turning it,clockwise so now it's locked so if you,try to pull on it it's not gonna come, out and then you close down the lid then, you close down the lid to make sure that,it is sturdy enough next thing you do is,to plug any of your bread machine so I'm,just gonna plug this in right now when, you plug it in a blue light will come on,and on it you will see some instructions, here now I want a medium crust this is,for cycle crust and low size so this, cycle is going to tell you you see on um,I have pre cycle to tell you what number,to put it on then you will see this, crossbar turn is to change in between, light medium or dark and the low size is,to switch between 1.5 and 2 pounds so,for me I want a medium crust so my my,site my um my crust has already been, adjusted

Bread Machine Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Bread Machine Cinnamon Raisin Bread

hey guys it's Jamie from now giving off, this train and today I'm making cinnamon, raisin bread in my bread machine I first, bought a bread machine like five or six, years ago at the thrift store for only, six dollars if you look online like, other stores I mean they sell for like a,hundred dollars there is no way I was, gonna spend money on a bread machine, that I wasn't even sure I was gonna use,so look at the thrift stores if you want,a cheap one but anyway I've had this, thing for that many years and it is,lasted it has done so well for us and I,use it like maybe a couple times a month,if not more I'll link all the recipes, that I have made in the description but,I've made like cinnamon rolls dinner, rolls bread sticks jalapeno cheese bread, and now this cinnamon raisin bread it is,good for breakfast snacks dessert you,can toast it up with some butter and the, best part is it makes two loaves so you,can make both for yourself you can take, one to a friend you can even freeze the, bread to it just sliced it up first and, stick it in the freezer and just get it,out whenever you're ready to eat it now,let me show you how it's made so we're,going to start by adding most of the wet, ingredients first now you'll need to,look at your bread machines instructions,to see what you need to add first but, mine it usually tells me to add the, liquids first and then the flour and, yeast glass, now I will say also that I ran this, thing under some hot water first just to,get this hot because I keep my bread, machine in the garage so it does get, kind of cold and I think the yeast works, better when this is warm and this milk, was also heated up for about 45 seconds, just to make it a little bit warmer I,also have the recipe down below in the, description so if I don't show you, exactly what to put in here just click,on the link and you can print out the, recipe yourself after the milk and eggs,I usually add the butter this has been, softened a little bit in the microwave,it doesn't have to be completely melted, just softened enough that the bread, machine can mix it up and the next I'll,add a teaspoon of salt and then last I,will add the flour and the yeast so I'm,starting with four cups of flour and, when you put this in the bread machine, wait about five minutes and then check,it and make sure that you don't need to,add any more flour or water to it you, know the very top teaspoon and at this, point you can add the raisins if you, want to my bread machines don't function, will beep like halfway through to add an,e mix and so I'm gonna do that,in between I'll add one cup of raisins, you can add the raisins right here at,this point but if you add them now they, might get chopped up a little bit if you, don't mind that that's totally fine now,my bread machine has different functions,on here the, don't function which is what I'm going,to use rinse for about 90 minutes so we,will do the dough function and we'll,start it I'm gonna check back in about, five minutes to see if I need to add any, more flour or water so this actually, looks really good, what you want is for it to be slightly, wet and sticky but not enough that it,actually sticks to your finger you don't,want it to dry so this looks perfect I,will be back in about 90 minutes to see,how it is,alright the dough just finished it looks, perfect so let's get it out and we will, roll it out into the bread very sticky, thing you'll do is just knead it a few, times and then you're going to cut this,in half because this may,to Lowe's,just cut it nice and,and we will set one aside and then we,will work on the other one so next we're,just going to roll the one out into a,nice long rectangle it doesn't have to,be perfect just has to be somewhat long, and rectangular shaped now I'm going to,take a tablespoon of butter and then I'm,just going to spread it all the way, around just so I can put the brown sugar, and cinnamon mixture in it you can make, this process a little bit easier by,melting the butter first the dough is,actually a little bit warm from being in,the bread machine so it won't take this, very long to melt a little now once the, butter has melted I've got a mixture of,1/2 cup of packed brown sugar and 2,teaspoons of cinnamon so I will mix all, this together and then spread half of,this on top of this load, here just flatten it out evenly, and then from here you're going to start, either at the top of the bottom long, ways roll it very carefully up into a,loaf shape this is how it's going to get, that a little cinnamon swirl on the, inside, then from here I'll try to pinch the, edges together to close it up and then I,take the edge and just very slightly, tuck it under on both sides, and then I will put it into a greased 8,by 4 loaf pan so I'm going to do the, same thing with the other half of the, loaf we're going to put a towel over top,of this and let it rise for about 30,minutes before baking so I've got the, oven preheated to 350 it's been over an,hour and they really haven't risen a,whole lot but they definitely will in,the ove

WARNING: Raisin Cinnamon Bread from Bread Machine

WARNING: Raisin Cinnamon Bread from Bread Machine

hello well today i'm going to use my,bread machine and i'm going to use a,makeup bread that i thought i'd lost the, recipe but i found it,i'm going to make raisin cinnamon bread, now when i first learned how to do this,oh golly probably i don't know 35 years, ago 40 years ago,i made it for martin to take to work, well it wasn't like within i don't know, how many weeks he gained 10 pounds, eating this all the time so now what i,do with treats when i make them is i,slice them or whatever and i package, them and freeze them then he can just, get one of something so you might want,to do that with this because, after you add that frosting on top, this is good, okay i have one cup plus two tablespoons, warm water, two tablespoons butter softened, three cups of bread flour, three tablespoons of sugar one teaspoon,of ground cinnamon, one and a half teaspoons of salt,i'll be using two and a half teaspoons,of yeast, and one cup of raisins now if you've,used a bread machine you know you don't,add the raisins until you hear the, beepity beep of your machine,my machine you put the liquids in first,so i'll put the water and the butter in,first, well i hope you can see in there,i turned on my top light so you could, now i'm going to add first the water you, want to make sure it's warm not hot warm, then i'm going to add the butter,i don't know why but i just, never got into kneading,my friends tell me oh it's so relaxing, and i'm like i just want to get it done, the liquids are in here i've got the, butter and the milk in here, next i'm going to add the flour, when i measure flour,i will have say i want a cup of flour i,have a smaller one to just kind of put,it in there and then i level it off i,don't tamp it down i don't anything just, level it off, otherwise you can end up with it's too,dry in there because you really put in,too much flour, okay let me put this in,all of your dry ingredients go in now,and then like i said the raisins when it,beeps, there's a special cycle on your machine, there's a special cycle on your machine,to add things, let me level that off a bit, here goes the cinnamon, you see how easy this is,and the sugar, now i'm going to put the salt in,but i'm going to have a little lesson, for the salt, you want to put the salt in the corners, because if it meets the yeast too soon, the yeast does not work,at least not as well,so always put it in the corners, there, now i'm going to put in the yeast when i,do the yeast i make a little well in the, middle, just in the middle, and that's where i put my yeast one, two, every recipe can add for a different, amount of yeast all right that's all, done, each machine is different if i were only, going to make dough i would go up here, but i'm going to do basic, there that's on basic,i want a normal sized loaf which is one,and a half pounds, and i do want a light crust, now i'm going to start this and then i,don't know if it's three quarters of the,way through it will beep and i will put,in the raisins let me get this started, see wasn't that hard, you've seen me make this simple, frosting before,i have sifted some powdered sugar i,don't know there's a cup and a half in,there you just kind of eyeball this, stuff,i'm gonna grab some of the butter, the goal is is you want to see a few, golden flakes,in the butter when you're done that'd be,enough,a little bit more, that should do it,and you just work it in,now the tricky part is adding the milk, and then you're going to use some, vanilla today i'm using a clear vanilla, this has a little less flavor than the, dark brown vanilla but your frosting, stays white, the worst thing that happens is you put,in too much milk and you have to add, more powdered sugar so let's try to get,it the first time,a little milk goes a long way,see that, still very loose, and if it is too, loose i'll show you how i fix it,now this is getting in together pretty, good, and now i'm going to add a little, vanilla, just a little, half a capful for that amount, sorry but that turned out about perfect, yeah, you see it's uh not runny, you see that not runny just a nice stiff, frosting if you wanted to make a glaze,of course you'd add a little bit more, milk to make it runny, there that'll be good i'm going to leave, that until the bread is cool, well i set this outside to cool it's,been kind of cold out there and it,cooled faster so now i'm going to put my,frosting on,you just put it on,as you would frost a cake i like to have, some go down the side, then what i'm going to do is i'm going,to slice this, and put it in the freezer and then, martin can take out a piece as he wants,to,let me finish this, there we go this is all frosted i'm,going to put this in the refrigerator, and let it really cool down and then i,will slice it because i want the, frosting to really cool down, then it won't smear when i cut it,well this is done and it is beautiful,i've cut just a couple of pieces off, what i'm going to do is cut them in half, and freeze them that way so when martin, wants to grab a piece he's not grabbing,a huge chunk of this, but this is such
